In some larger cubes, he'll probably be fine. But I'm not in the need for another 4cc control card in white or blue at the moment, and UW is stacked with cards that are either better, more important, or more flexible. He's certainly in my top 20 review (which should drop this weekend) but he misses the cut for me at 540.
Update looks good, man. Cuts are getting tough even at 540, but that's a good problem to have. Odd to see Reflecting Pool on a cuts list, but that's the world we're living in.
I'm more than a little shocked that you're cutting Reflecting Pool and Ajani Goldmane. Reflecting Pool is so good at smoothing out double colored costs, while Aether Hub is usually just a one-time fixer. Is it because you need the additional C support? I'm just as surprised to see Ajani go, do you feel you need the additional anthem effect less now that you have Angel of Invention? The rest of the cuts make a lot of sense.
So are you doing a top 20 for this set?

450 card Peasant cube thread. Draft it here.
We got an extra anthem, so Ajani isn't as needed. And if I can relieve congestion at the white 4cc spell slot, great.
Pool was nice for midrange decks to secure double-costs, but it never gives you colors you don't have. So Hub is actually a better fixer. Now that a lot of he CC cost cards are gone from the early parts of the game, Pool isn't as critical. The extra <> source helps since Abbey left w/ the update too. And it's a much better fixer for aggro since it helps give you access you don't otherwise have in the first couple turns. Ice Bridge has been very good for us since bringing it back ...and Hub is just better.
I like that he does decent work even if dropped later in the game, but he's been pretty average on T2. We'll see if he survives the next few set updates...
I saw that you cut Westvale Abbey but kept Mirror Pool. I'm currently cubing Abbey but never tested Mirrorpool, how do you think the two cards compare with each other?
I think that if you're supporting C cards, you should play Mirrorpool. Too high a ceiling for a card that basically has no cost to run (since it only goes in colorless-matters decks anyways).
I noticed you cut new Grenzo but kept Abbot of Keral Keep. How's the Abbot been performing? I added Grenzo instead, but I've been second-guessing myself on that.

Abbot is a seriously good card. Certainly better than Grenzo. I'd pick one up.
whatever happened to Standstill? i thought this card would've gotten better with all the manlands we have now. is this no longer the case?
Standstill was cut not for performance issues, but for narrowness issues. It only went into dedicated tempo strategies. It's a good card there, but those decks will happily play a handful of additional spells that are also playable by all blue decks instead.
It is, and it's really solid in the "bunch o' critters" green deck ...but it didn't necessarily help solve specific problems or make any one particular archetype work, so while powerful, it felt more ...expendable somehow. We'll see how I do with it gone for a while and see if it makes a comeback.
I can see needing more artifact removal for sealed. Fiend and Reveler are so heavy red though; if splashing you'll usually have to destroy the artifact over two turns. What do you think of Ingot Chewer over one of them?
I actually like Chewer more as dedicated artifact removal, and I played it for quite a while. The issue, is that I needed the cards to also double as 2-drops for the purposes of curve and interactions, etc. These can be reasonable aggro bodies, artifact removal, AND they have interactions with the Recruiter(s), 'Lark, Alesha and so forth. I like Hearth Kami too, so if these cards fail to perform, that guy is always an option for the hybrid 2-drop/shatter slot.
I think that if you're supporting C cards, you should play Mirrorpool. Too high a ceiling for a card that basically has no cost to run (since it only goes in colorless-matters decks anyways).
Agreed.. It's also a really fun card because of it's upside.
I've seen it copy both ancestral recall and sun titan, broken stuff is fun
