Sinkhole is so good though! I mean, blowing up any of their lands is good value at BB (I'll play it in pretty much any deck that can cast it) but with the high concentration of bouncelands in this kind of cube, it's actually just a super powerful card.
I mean, it's not a fun card. But hey, what is fun?
This... really hasn't ever been the case around here, unfortunately. Sinkhole simply wasn't ever that good.
I agree with 'jonboyjon'. I made the experience, that Bestow cards should always be casted for their bestow cost if it's possible.
I would think aobut cutting Noble Templar for the Observant Alseid and maybe Mnemonic Wall for Nimbus Naiad.
The Templar is on my cut list soon, because it's definitly the worst of the Landcycling cycle. The problem about the templar is, that it's a control card in the only color, that has nearly no control support in pauper.
An alternative could be to count the bestow guys as auras and cut noncreature spells for them.
Btw. if you dislike Soltari Visionary at cc3, I could recommend you to test Farrel's Zealot instead. I made great experiences with this card.
Noble Templar is one of the better control cards for white and won't be leaving the cube for a long while.
Farrel's Zealot doesn't seem that great compared to the other options available. I'm not a fan, although I will take your good experiences with it into account.

I agree with this Lanxal, also why I included Boomerang in my 450 to mimic a similar effect. It's done wonders for my group so far, but hey It's your cube mang
Also, is there a functional difference within the cube to warrant the running of Civic Wayfinder over Borderland Ranger? I mostly just like Borderland better is all.
I prefer Groundswell, because it really is often +4/+4 and thus better than Giant Growth. GG is good but I don't have room for another one, especially given Savage Surge was printed as a common.
The only difference I think that exists is Bond of Faith. It's interesting to note that it doesn't necessarily make Bond of Faith stronger to include the Elf over the Human, since if you're playing a deck with both the Bond and the Borderland Ranger you get the option of using the Bond as a pump. In any case, that difference is very small, so pick whichever you prefer. =D
You're definitely right that those three cards are incredibly hard to deal with, and other hexproof creatures would be similarly dangerous. However, among that list, I might actually consider Silhana Ledgewalker to be the most troublesome in terms of what you're talking about, which is answers. Why? Guardian of the Guildpact, while extremely powerful, actually has a fair amount of colorless and multicolor answers (including just creatures that are bigger than it), and very often every deck is running at least 1 card that can deal with it, with more in the sideboard. Blastoderm, while huge, is temporary and so can be waited out and chump-blocked. However, the Ledgewalker's addition of evasion means that it + any Aura can often be unbeatable and completely wreck a game. Of course, this actually requires you having that pump aura, and a post-board answer to the Ledgewalker is often enchantment or equipment removal. What I'm basically saying is, which these are all very strong cards, right now they're not oppressively strong in the cube.
Moving onto the topic of Edicts, the only one on the list I play with is Celestial Flare because it can be used to target specific creatures if you play a certain way. Among those cards, Diabolic Edict would be the next card to play, and I cut it a few months ago simply because it wasn't adding up. It is an answer to the cards you mentioned (although not always a great answer), but its overall performance wasn't high enough for it to be worth it. And that's really the issue I have to playing sacrifice effects as a means of dealing with those cards - if they are only worth cubing because of that one interaction, I have to seriously consider whether it's worth it at all. And at this point, none of those cards above have been consistently unbeatable to an extent where I may need more answers for them.
Blastoderm is definitely a beating, and you're not getting out of it without a few lost creatures or some low, low life. However, I still don't think its singular presence in the cube is warping the format to the point where I would put in Edicts when I would otherwise not even bother with them. This is also partly because Edicts, while the only way for Pauper cubist to really deal with Blastoderm, also sometimes just doesn't deal with it appropriately if they have other creatures.
Indeed. A good deathtouch creature would be better to deal with the 'derm than Edicts, since Edicts are so obvious of an answer to 'derm that players will often be able to play around it.
Those aren't the worse changes, and you should definitely act on your own observations if you've seen those cards dominate control strategies. I personally haven't really, which is why I wouldn't make the same changes myself.
Comment: I've always been partial to the Crookclaw, but when it's time, it's time. Cloak Siren loses the potential for tricks but compensates for 1 more toughness, which is significant with the 1-point ping cards in the format.
One quick question I had while gathering the cards for this: when was Death Spark ever printed at common? Alliances has the card listed at uncommon, and it's in a couple other supplemental products, all at uncommon.
I'm using Lanxal's 360 as a base for a pauper cube tuned for sealed play (so at the very least it will have... a lot more cards haha). In my experience, sealed cubes need to be adjusted for multi-color play, more mana-fixing, and gourmet artifact destruction, which hasn't been that tough to fill at common. Suggestions welcome, though!
Also got a coworker sucked back into magic, and he liked the idea of a pauper cube to draft with his board game cronies, so I sent him to this thread. He was hoping for an easier way to just purchase all the cards in the original 360, so I was wondering if it would be possible to edit the OP with a single deck list after the breakdown that has all the cards (for ease of just hitting the tcg link and bam, all the cards are in his cart). Just a thought!

It was released online as a common in MTGO Masters Edition II a lot of people who play and build with pauper in mind will include cards that appear as common online as that's what wizards considers it's rarity actually at.
I really am interested in building this Cube, Do you have a list that I could print out and use as a checklist type thing while gathering the cards.

This. It's a personal choice to include Masters Edition commons, but you don't have to.

This is probably one month too late, but I do keep a single decklist on my computer for my cube:
How much does it cost to build this cube given that you have none of these cards and you want each card in the lowest costing form?
I wouldn't really be able to tell you that, partly I live in Australia and partly because the current form of the cube has been the result of many small purchases since the first bulk purchases. According to deckstats, the cube is a bit under $150. Now that I've cut Sinkhole, the most expensive card is Chain Lightning at around $10.
What was people's thought on Benthic Giant? I really like it in the cube.
Benthic Giant is big but slow. It's definitely what certain slow controlly decks want, because voltron is quite powerful in Pauper cube (Mark of the Vampire, for instance), but I don't run him because I have enough fliers to suit up.
Anything coming in from Conspiracy that you think might be good/interesting?
I vaguely remember deciding nothing was really great from Conspiracy, but I didn't really give it a dedicated look. I think M15 had more interesting options but again I haven't had the time to really update the cube.
Egh. So it's pretty obvious that, since university started, I've had no time for MTG, including updating my Pauper cube. I haven't even played the thing in months, and I've barely been on MTGS (as is pretty evident from these late replies).
I honestly don't know how I want to proceed. I definitely made a mistake leaving so abruptly without posting anything much - I just kind of left MTG and Pauper cubing by the wayside in soaking up all the new experiences that university gave me. While I don't think I will be able to return to being a community regular for Pauper cubing given everything I want to do, I'm definitely going to consider my options over the next few months and see if I can making cubing, at least in my real life, a regular thing again. In line with that, I'll try to put up a big update for the sets I've missed in the next two months and then go from there (probably not August, since all the time I have for MTG will be devoted to practising M15 for GP Sydney).

I took a cursory look at Born of the Gods. No outright cubeable cards in my opinion, and one or two testable ones that I'm not really interested in.
