There is a lot of burn. It's not something I'm super worried about. There's usually one or two aggressive red decks and an XR control deck fighting over them, so they go pretty quickly.
Reckless Charge has been in my list before, but it wasn't played very often. I like the card, but if nobody's using it, why not make room for something that will get played?
I love Reckless Charge and try and beat anyone who doesn't agree with it until they give it more respect
Haze of Rage is a sweet card, but seems a little expensive. Storm is not a particularly good mechanic in limited, but I might try it out if I find one.
I was very pleased when someone played it last week in a token deck, played a 1cc card, played it with buyback and then played it again for +5/+0 (for 6 mana) to the team. The fact it works well with itself makes the Storm worth having.
One idea I've been throwing around is adding land destruction spells (Stone Rain, Molten Rain and Pillage in addition to the already present Avalanche Riders). I'm just not sure how my friends will react to that; LD is not especially popular around here.
And my only concern about the flashback cost on Battle Screech is that if you don't have another white creature in play when you cast it (or it gets removed), then it's going to be a huge tempo loss later on.
Yes, that is true. But if you do have another white creature it is very similar to Lingering Souls.
A little LD has worked great for us. It gives red something different to do, it makes Karoos a little less all-upside, and it's a great way for aggro to seal the deal. One timely LD can set them back, two are usually backbreaking. As these games are usually over pretty quickly, they don't create too much awkwardness and thus I'm fine. All fair in love, war, and Magic.
Specialities about the cube: U tempo, B aggro, R slow-ish are supported. G aggro is not.
Currently trying to support tokens in all colors but blue, in different ways: W pumps them, B sacrifices them, R suicides them, G has decent-sized ones.

We cut the Lynx at some point last year because we felt there weren't enough ways to trigger it multiple times in one turn, but I've come around to thinking that doesn't really matter. I've seen Deftblade Elite in a few lists and he seems sweet.
Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking when I cut Blast over Fallout. Being uncounterable is nice and all, but being able to sweep away three-toughness dudes seems better.
Spawning Pit is supposed to support this black and/or green sacrifice deck that pops up on occasion (usually powered by Golgari Germination and featuring value dudes and reanimation). I love that deck and want to support it, but this is just way too narrow; it's pretty much only playable in that deck. I might try out Blasting Station, but I fear it won't be good enough. Viridian Longbow is a pet card of mine, having played with it an awful lot in constructed pauper on MTGO. It might turn out to be bad, but I want to give it a shot. As for the creatures, Scuttlemutt is a relic of an older version of my cube and should have been cut ages ago. Cathodian is not an impressive card and will likely be replaced by something else in short order, but it's what I have on-hand.
The only reason that Zoetic Cavern was in my cube is because I think it's a funny card, not because it's actually any good. Nobody played it, so I'm switching it out for a card that I hope will actually get played.
Note that I don't actually have a number of the cards yet, so I won't be making the changes until I acquire them. Also, this is ONLY cards from M13; I'll be making some additional swaps involving older cards when I get them.
Nothing too surprising, I should think, though there is one notable omission: Arctic Aven. I think it's a cool card, but I like all of the cards in my WU section more than it.
Also, cutting Firespout is kind of painful, but RG decks don't want sweepers.
My love of cathodion is why I'm still playing with ebony treefolk and harbor bandit.
3/3s for 3 are simply bigger or as big as anything nongreen for a couple turns.
I still haven't gotten the cards for the M13 update yet, but I've made some changes anyway.
I'm cutting the tri-color section. Of the five cards getting cut, I'm only going to miss Marisi's Twinclaws. I'm putting another card in each color, so now each color section is a nice, even 80 cards.
A bunch of aggro-friendly cards to replace a bunch of expensive cards that only went in durdly decks.
I toyed with the idea of adding the Onslaughtcyclinglands, but I couldn't justify including them over spells (despite the fact that cycling is one of my favorite mechanics).
I wanted some more card advantage spells. Thirst for Knowledge is a card that you can try to build around (sort of) if you pick it early, which I like. Ninja of the Deep Hours is just super lackluster these days.
The double black two drops annoy me, so they're getting replaced with cards that are easier to cast (likewise Morbid Plunder). Unearth is a sweet card that I've wanted to put in for a long time and I finally acquired a copy. Also, getting rid of some superfluous removal.
The big thing in red is that I'm cutting down on burn spells (because there are a lot of them). And I'm finally trying out the LD spells, which I've been meaning to do for months.
As others have done before me, I'm getting rid of the super aggressive one-drops. They don't get played. Maul Splicer is a fine dude and is coming in because I want more ramp/reanimation targets, but I was considering using Guardian of Cloverdell instead.
I don't really want to explicitly support mono-color decks in my cube anymore, and Tendrils is the last vestige of that. I've been playing this awesome UB Teachings deck in Pauper on MTGO, and Undying Evil is absurd in that deck.
Your reanimation suite looks very cool. A card that might go really well with it is Blind Zealot. She's a decent beater, and her effect is really abusable with the reanimation cards you are running (and Undying Evil )
I'd suggest Silent Departure > Repulse or Vapor snag. That card is unbelievably good. It just buys so much time in a control deck.
Have you tried Brave the Elements? That card is busted in any heavy white aggro deck. I'd rank it waaaay higher than Test of Faith personally.
Also, no love for Fiend Hunter :D?
I will only play the Gates over the Refuges if there is some sort of cube-worthy Gate interaction (and that 0/2 defender certainly isn't). Otherwise, they're just worse than the Refuges. That said, I might try some kind of bounceland/Gate split based on what each combination wants.
Sensei's Divining Top is slow and boring. It's only good in slow decks (and even then, it's not great). It might get cut at some point.
Gorgon Flail is awesome. It's obviously insane with pingers and defenders, but it's fine in aggressive decks, too.
Duergar Hedge-Mage is not exciting, but it's very solid. Stun Sniper seems fine, but I like the rest of my RW cards more.
Nomnom is kind of mediocre, I admit, but Vengeful Rebirth is not what RG decks want at all. Tattermunge Witch might be a good inclusion. I'll think about it.
I tried Hanweir Watchkeep, but wasn't super impressed. By that point in the game, it's too difficult to flip. I haven't tried the other two.
Blind Zealot is something I've considered. I'll probably try it at some point. It's kind of competing with Fleshbag Marauder. Marauder is less aggressive, but it plays better with reanimation effects.
Silent Departure is another card that's been on my radar. We haven't really seen Vapor Snag much yet, so I'll wait a while before making any decisions about it.
Fiend Hunter is like a speedbump. It doesn't actually stop the problem, only slows it down. Its body isn't relevant enough to make it into aggressive decks, and control decks want more permanent solutions to creatures. I don't use Faceless Butcher, either.
I think fiend hunter is good in (tempo) aggresive decks. Gets rid of a blocker for a turn or a few and gets in for a point or 2. I like him in UW and WG. Also Ill take all the removal and potential X-for-1s I can in my clucky 3+ color control decks.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I write about cube and run cube drafts on magic online.
Arctic Aven will be replacing Plumeveil as soon as I find one. I like Momentary Blink a lot.
Sweet. Arctic Aven is the best card out of M13 in my opinion.
Blind Zealot is something I've considered. I'll probably try it at some point. It's kind of competing with Fleshbag Marauder. Marauder is less aggressive, but it plays better with reanimation effects.
Whatever you do, don't cut Fleshbag Marauder! That card looks like a house in your list, so I'd cube Blind Zealot with it but not over it.
Also, I just noticed that you are playing Chronomaton. How has he been for you? I think I'm going to try to make room for him in my cube. Anyways, since you're playing him, I wondered if you had given thought to Cenn's Tactician. He's basically Chronomaton + ridiculous upside (and you're playing 17 soldiers that work with him already in white).
I love Reckless Charge and try and beat anyone who doesn't agree with it until they give it more respect
Yes, it isn't the best, that is true.
I was very pleased when someone played it last week in a token deck, played a 1cc card, played it with buyback and then played it again for +5/+0 (for 6 mana) to the team. The fact it works well with itself makes the Storm worth having.
Yeah, I've added Faithless Looting to my cube.
LD is something of a theme in my cube, I play Molten Rain, Pillage, Avalanche Riders, Ogre Arsonist, Goblin Ruinblaster as well as the Wasteland,Strip Mine and Tectonic Edge. I like how it gives red something other than burn. A sprinkling of LD shouldn't be too annoying.
Yes, that is true. But if you do have another white creature it is very similar to Lingering Souls.
I'll plug my 590 card C/Ube list :D.

Does Ancient Ziggurat do anything for you?
I assume you are going to cut the refuges once the guildgates come out?
Sensei's Divining Top seems slow and boring, in my opinion.
How is Gorgon Flail for you? I've been wondering if I should add it, and I run more pingers than you already...
Speaking of pingers I would definitely suggest Stun Sniper > Duergar Hedge-Mage
Also, Vengeful Rebirth or Tattermunge Witch > Tattermunge Maniac
and Arctic Aven > Momentary Blink
Arctic Aven is really really good, so unless blink is a major role-player for you I would put Arctic Aven in instead.
Have you tried Mogg Flunkies, Keldon Halberdier, and Hanweir Watchkeep?
Your reanimation suite looks very cool. A card that might go really well with it is Blind Zealot. She's a decent beater, and her effect is really abusable with the reanimation cards you are running (and Undying Evil )
I'd suggest Silent Departure > Repulse or Vapor snag. That card is unbelievably good. It just buys so much time in a control deck.
Zanam Djinn is a sweet include.
Arctic Aven will be replacing Plumeveil as soon as I find one. I like Momentary Blink a lot.
I tried Hanweir Watchkeep, but wasn't super impressed. By that point in the game, it's too difficult to flip. I haven't tried the other two.

Brave the Elements could be sweet. I'll definitely try that.
Fiend Hunter is like a speedbump. It doesn't actually stop the problem, only slows it down. Its body isn't relevant enough to make it into aggressive decks, and control decks want more permanent solutions to creatures. I don't use Faceless Butcher, either.
Thanks for the feedback.
