When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.

Maybe I just haven't played this cube enough to realize what a crazy good card it is.
Max sweepers in C/U cubes. All the best of those effects are rares, so C/U sweepers are king for control in these types of cubes? That was my understanding anyway.
Like, I think Pyrohemia is supposed to be pretty bomb-digitty too.

I actually have a theory that most sweepers aren't that good in C/U cube. Creatures are small and removal is plentiful. Games rarely get to the point where a big sweeper is needed. Crypt Rats requires a ton of energy, not to mention B/R mana, to set up and few decks can support it. The card looks good in theory but I'm not a fan.

This was my thoughts as well, but I've only got about 10 to 20 drafts in with this cube, so maybe I'm just inexperienced. I'll throw Crypt Rats back in for now and lose the Gatekeeper. I think I'll also skip on including Pyrohemia since I've yet to see Pestilence be all that devastating. Maybe after I play with the cards a little more, I can form a better opinion on them and sweepers in C/U in general.
Have you checked out Firecat Blitz? As far as I know it's one of the best uncommon red finishers. I would have thought it'd be an auto include in U/C cubes. I dunno though I could be wrong!
A splashable 3/3 is always welcome in my green decks.
I actually probably could have splashed another color as well with all that crazy fixing, but I really didn't have anything in my pool worth splashing. It was a Winston draft. I've found that sometimes those decks end up completely different than what you had in mind while drafting.

This was going to be my suggestion, but I don't know squat about C/U cubes... (other than that you're supposed to run Crypt Rats :p).

Sulfurous Blast is a good sweeper for red. Dakmor Plague/Famine aren't as good but may be good enough for C/U.
I used to write cube articles on StarCityGames, now for GatheringMagic and podcast about cube (w/Antknee42.)

Draft my cube!

I currently only run Sulfurous Blast, Firespout, and to a lesser extent Hurricane as dedicated sweepers. I much prefer cards like Barter in Blood or Ashes to Ashes.

This deck produced so much card advantage, it was crazy. It was like everything I did somehow cantripped. Also cascading into an X spell makes me sad.

Like the deck calibretto. Though it could be better with one more color. Not a big fan of Albino Troll. He seems pretty out of place in this deck too.
