Rant: We have Rafiq, Bant Charm, and Rhox War Monk in already. We need a suggestion for a 4th Bant card better than Archangel
As for Counsel, at some point you just have to make compromises to keep both people happy One of the things that comes with sharing a cube.
That just seems like way too many tri-color cards for a 600 card cube. I'm just now putting in the 5 shard slots at my <540 cube, and I'd have a hard time playing two of each shard at 720, let alone FOUR at 600.
I guess you guys are really OK with having lots of useless multis in your packs. When I cut the multicolored spells down in my cube, I noticed that the quality of the packs was much better.

I'd hardly call them useless, we love our multi-colored spells and they're always finding their way into decks. Some of them are actually pretty high picks as well
Also, I don't like Jenara but I completely forgot about Stoic Angel, now there's a good replacement! Thanks!
What I mean by useless is that if no one happens to be in a particular color combination, those cards go last. By cutting the number of multicolor down you have fewer cards that are default last picks. But obviously you like it the way it is, so have at it. I would almost never pick a 3-color card early, but you guys do and that's great.
Overall, a great upgrade. I'd cut something else besides Albino Troll. He's a great little creature for a lot of archetypes and I'd leave him in.
Additionally, I'd try to keep Isochron Scepter in. Not because it's a "core staple" or anything like that, but because at the 600 card level, I think it makes the grade.
Our group, both cube owners included, really do not like troll anymore. He just hasn't played out very well for us, mainly because we don't support Green aggro as much as other cubes, and with a turn 1 mana bird, instead of paying his echo you can usually be casting a much more powerful 4 drop that turn. Overall, he was sitting in sideboards way too much for us to want to continue to include him.
Re Viridian Claw: I don't think the Claw is very good, but I no longer wanted to cube with Loxodon Warhammer, and I knew I would be getting a replacement equipment (5th sword) in 3 short months. During that time, we're just using Viridian Claw as a placeholder. So far, it hasn't actually come up in a draft, so I couldn't tell you if it's any good or not.
Re Hondens: I love these things, even though the only ones I'd play on their own are the W, U, and B ones. Call it one of my flaws as a cube builder, but I'm either going to keep them in as a complete package, or not at all, and at the moment they've done well enough for me to keep in the package.
Re Isochron Scepter: Again, this card was seeing very little play, and every time someone drafted it and we were building decks, we would find there were not enough targets and we would cut it. We finally decided that it was time for it to take a break, who knows if it will be back in the future with the addition of a few more awesome -3cc Instant Spells.
Thanks for the quick posts guys, I appreciate it a lot! Keep it coming!
Re Warhammer: Warhammer is much better than Viridian Claw, there's no doubt in my mind about that, but it was just not seeing any play and seeing as how it was leaving in a few months anyways, I decided to try something new in it's slot for those 3 months.
Re Compulsive Research: I've always liked Research, but being a sorcery has never really helped and has made for awkward situations when playing with the card. I might consider putting it back in if I can find a better cut, but that cut would not be Mnemonic Wall. Wall has been more than great around here and I'm always happy to have him in my control decks.
It's that time again, UPDATE TIME! The latest update has been added, so head on over to the first post for both that and the changelog, with a little description written up in the second post.
I hope you enjoy, and as always, leave lots of comments. I look forward to reading them and answering!
great update. you're including some stuff i don't care about but at +130 cards there may well be room for it. and you're not cutting anything important.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
Geth's Verdict: I was not looking for another sorcery speed edict, but seeing as how this is instant speed, I decided it was worth a try. I think the fact that it can be used as a trick instead of just as removal gives it an edge over Cruel Edict, even with the extra B in the cost.
Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger: This was actually a card that my cube partner wanted to try, and since we had an extra slot for Green, I decided to go along with it an test it. I don't have much faith in it being very impressive, but only time will tell. If it fails, then it'll just get replaced during the next update!
Hex Parasite: I disagree with you completely on this one. I think having Hex Parasite in the cube as a colorless answer to planeswalkers is completely fine, and along with the other little interactions (persist), it's worth risking not having a target for it some times.
Tezzeret's Gambit: The reason this is a colorless card for us is that we would have no interest running a 4 mana divination in blue. The only reason we actually considered this card was it gave colors like White, Red, or Green a colorless night's whisper, something that I think those colors needed. I wouldn't complain about casting it for 3U in blue decks, but the fact of the matter is it's going to be cast for 3 in non-blue the majority of the time.
@Sexy: I'll be sure to keep you posted on how the Praetor's do! I have high hopes about Elesh-Norn, Sheoldred, and Urabrask.
@QQ: Yeah, the beauty of this update was because we had already decided to increase the cube size, nothing significant was being cut, letting us be a bit more free with the cards that we added in to test. The cards that prove themselves to not be worth it will get the axe with the next update. I'm glad you liked it!
While I agree with your findings that the amount of cards it interacts with is pretty low, I think it's worth a shot in testing. Besides, it will only get better as time goes on, and more planeswalkers come into the cube!

Personally, I'd do:

and
Viridian Claw -----> Isochron Scepter
