You should leave the Raiders and the Cutthroat in their actual colours; you want to put cards in the section where they perform at their best.
I have to disagree with Lanxal; Remove Soul and Negate are definitely worth it. Not so much Negate, but Remove Soul/Essence Scatter are pretty much staple... after all, counters are pretty much blue's only way to deal with critters.
I was able to do a draft with my commons cube tonight, a friend's in the hospital from an accident and he wanted to play some magic, so me and some friends went to the hospital and drafted my commons cube there, since it was finally built.
Turned out really well. There was a good mix of aggro, midrange and control. I opened one of the most sick packs I've seen, with Pestilence AND Guardian of the Guildpact. I took Pestilence and somehow Guardian wheeled back (and I got cut from black, so I had to abandon my Pestilence pick.)
I haven't seen Opaline Bracers in many, or in any other commons lists and that card was just insane. I took it some time in the second pick and started to take manafixing higher (I was UG-splashing W for Guardian) and eventually got a Probe, which got me to splashing B as well. The bracers were almost always cast as a +4/+4 equipment, only once was it cast a +3/+3 equipment (and it was still really good.)
Yeah, Opaline Bracers is awesome. Ramp is a lot more abundant in commons, as is 3+ color decks (in the past five times I've drafted with my cube, I've always gone three colors).
I find that it's pretty easy to get a good amount of "free" fixing from bouncelands for stuff like Bracers. I do value them quite highly in general and one of the nice things about making a commons cube is being able to use the bouncelands again (I took them out of my powered one because I had too much fixing.)
I also think this lends credence to the fact that one doesn't need to take signets/bouncelands out, like LaPille said, to make aggro good. I didn't think this was the case but I think if there was any need for a final nail in the coffin, that was it (granted, it was just one run, but I'm quite confident in saying that signets/bouncelands don't make aggro suck, no matter what rarities are allowed in a cube.)
Haha, the changes between Pauper Cube and normal Cubes are pretty wild. I'm actually thinking about writing a series of articles talking about Pauper Cubes, and the first would be the differences between each.
On that note, if I ever intend to do these articles, may I have your permission to use your cube?

One of the reasons that I built this was to see the different viewpoints between different types of cubing. I wanted a different perspective than simply my own powered cube and I think that making this has been exceptionally helpful. I've had my 2nd cube article on the back burner for ages and making this finally got that muse back.
(Agreed about the rating for the red 5 drops. Maybe I'd say Hatcher > Crusher, but Irregulars is definitely the best out of the 3. They're the closest to a Ball Lightning effect in commons as most hasters don't have trample.
[edit - Irregulars are the only creature at common with haste and trample. Wow!])
I say Crusher > Hatcher because, even though it's great that you get 3 mana dorks, when you're playing red and got to five, you want something that'll win you the game, instead of helping you play more stuff, and Crusher does that better than Hatcher. It's like the debate about Primeval Titan, on a smaller scale. Sure, Emrakul's Hatcher is respectable, and I run both, but I would cut it before I cut the Crusher.
I'm gonna give Deftblade Elite a shot. I've done a bit of testing with it and it's been solid. I don't think it's the best 1-drop ever like Kai Budde said, but its ability to ensnare blockers is quite nice. I'm cutting Judge Unworthy for it because it's been pretty inconsistent. In Time Spiral block, you could probably hit something big because of suspend and morph cards, but my present experience is that Judge Unworthy isn't too good.
Also, Fertile Ground is awesome. It is quite the quality fixer and there's almost no LD to 2-for-1 the land.
Dude, I love the hand drawn proxies in the all commons cube. Now that's pimp.
hahahaha iknorite? I need to just make an online order and buy them. The especially funny thing is the juxtaposition between the stuff like the proxied Soltari stuff and... Chinese Shade's Form, horsemanship guys and a Jungle Lion.
If Starcity had a Russian Sorin Markov, I'd totally order the stuff in a haul. (Actually, if any place had a Russian Sorin Markov, I'd buy it all in a haul!)

You wouldn't think a Russian Sorin would be that hard to come by, especially if you're looking at stores that are as big as SSG.

Yeah, I figured that it'd be pretty easy, but at least on SCG, all they've got are Japanese, Chinese, French and Italian Sorins and I had no luck on ebay searches either. Booooo.

Damn, dude. That sucks. That card looks f'n sweeeeet in Russian.

When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
I talked to makenfunny on the phone today, I forgot that Magma Burst isn't just a glorified Searing Blaze, it can hit 2 creatures, which is really solid. I think it's better than Chandra's Outrage (which reminds me a bit much of Hideous End) so I'm gonna make that change.
I'd like to fit the 4 mana hasty minotaurs (Talruum Minotaur, Raging Minotaur) but I don't know if I have the room for them.
Currently you are running Brute Force but not Giant Growth. Is it because a Giant Growth in red is a more unique effect. Is it because you overlooked Giant Growth? Or is it because you are still tinkering and Red Giant Growth is probably going to get the boot?

Not really overlooked, it's the same reason that I run Sunlance but don't run Strafe and why my powered cube runs Harmonize but not Concentrate (but I won't ever use Hornet Sting because that card's just awful) - because the effect has better options in the original color (Groundswell > Giant Growth, for example.)
I'd just like to chime in a give my +1 for Safe Passage in common/limited formats.
It's so much more than a Fog. So, (In addition to being a Fog) you can still block with your own creatures to kill theirs, and in a pinch can save a guy from a Lightning Bolt.

Made a few changes in multicolor. I think that while Desecrator Hag is definitely an inferior Gravedigger, I think that Gravedigger effects are strong enough to have the hag make the cut (especially since Hag is a 2/2, which is a decently-sized body.) I also ended up adding Somnomancer (though I'll see how it pans out in blue tempo-based decks) and think it'll be good. I was originally going to cut Azorius First-Wing, but a 2/2 flier for 2 is rock solid (see Gaea's Skyfolk) and it randomly has pro-W removal (for the most part.) It can be a drawback since it can't be rancored or Shade's Formed, but considering that they're not in the main color, I don't think that'll happen.
The hybrids make it so that R is down a card (because WUBG gets another card though hybrids) but R gets Resounding Thunder in Jund, so I think it all works out.
I think Illusionary Forces is a card that should be in since it's a huge 4/4 flying beatstick, but I'm unsure what to take out for it. Halimar Wavewatch seems like the cut, but it's a pretty solid card, acting as a wall in the early game and a 6/6 beater later on (which most decks can't deal with, the only creatures that I can think of that can take it on in combat are Ulamog's Crusher and a really highly kicked Apex Hawks.)
RE: Safe Passage, I think that Prismatic Strands performs that role better (and Shelter and Cho-Manno's Blessing performing somewhat similarly.) Typically strands acts the same way passage would, with flashback that isn't too hard to achieve, since there typically aren't massive multicolored armies.

I don't agree with your assessments of the red five drops. I think it's Gerrard's Irregulars > Flowstone Crusher > Emrakul's Hatcher.

I'm considering going between Coalition Honor Guard, Burrenton Trapper and Heavy Ballista, since the Ballista has a pretty decent body for its ability.
I was considering adding the Invasion sacrifice lands and 5 other artifacts to make this an even 420 cards (to make it so that there can be a 10-person draft with 3 packs of 14) but I haven't cubed with nearly that many people in a while, so I don't think that's a great idea. That and so many of the unplayed artifacts are awful. The ones that come to mind would be are cards like... Steel Wall, Chromatic Sphere, Phyrexian War Machine, Baton of Courage, Neurok Hoversail, Clay Statue, Elsewhere Flask, Kaleidostone, Expedition Map, Pentad Prism, Slagwurm Armor, Spidersilk Net and Wall of Spears, which just look like they'll be 11th-15th picks.

Hell yes. Fertile Ground is hella foxy.
I've got a couple of bad artifacts to round off my numbers. I'm going to replace them soon with SoM coming around.

i don't get it, why?
It's similar to why I did Chandra Nalaar in Hindi (because of origins of the name Chandra) and Juzam Djinn, Serendib Efreet and Library of Alexandria in Arabic.
(I'd use the scan from magiccards.info, but it's all blurry. Still, if I can't find a real Russian Sorin, I'll probably just do that.)
