Well got back from my regional prerelease or whatever the big ones are called a little while ago. Super-mini-report:
Before - Went to sleep: 3am woke up: 6am left house: 8am Sealed - We had a big flight but it was only 4 rounds, 160ish people I think. Deck was INsane with 10 removal spells. Went 3-0-1 though drawing last round was dumb as there was no way I would have lost to his deck with a billion x/2 or x/1 flyers with 2x Branching Bolt. 2hg - R1&2 blowouts. R1 face two guys who apperently won a team PT 6-7 years ago. Both rounds Banefire for a billion wins. R3 my other head mulls to five, I keep seven. I draw two a turn forever off Drumhunter. Teammate has 10 lands 5 spells (give or take) I have like 20 spells 5 land. R4 again blowout. Trades/Foils for cube - Sulfuric Vortex, Goblin Legionnaire (Apoc!), Gerrard's Verdict (ditto), Knight of the White Orchid, Bull Cerodon, Glen Alendra Archmage Non-foil Conflux cube cards - Tramatic Visions, Soul's Majesty, Progenitus, Telemin Performance, Banefire (maybe, was in 2hg pool and we're Winston drafting cube to pick who gets it)
Also got Sarkhan Vol and Fetid Heath signed and altered by Daarken who was there.
Thoughts on new cards:
Basic land cyclers were really good blue one is still only one I plan on putting in. The Sphere that gets basic land is also really good, going in for sure. Soul's Majesty was also good as expected. Kinda wish I'd seen more rares in action but we'll see. Overall I thought the set was really good looking and I'm glad to see it shake things up. Think it should provide a good number of cube cards though time will tell.
The two cards from this set that I'm most excited to add to my cube are Thornling and Path to Exile.
Yeah didn't get my hands on a Thornling but they are both going in. Went on Sunday for a draft and traded for foil Banefire which seems good. Also picked up a foil Tezzeret Personally I think Path to Exile, Banefire, and Martial Coup are my top picks for the set.
Martial Coup will be something I'll have to seen in action before I'm sold on it. I am definitely planning on giving it a chance. Banefire is an excellent card, but for the cube it doesn't excite me that much since uncounterability spells isn't as relevant as it is in constructed. Nonetheless, I'll probably add this card and take out Disintegrate or something.
Thornling excites me so much because green needs the help so badly. I might go look for other possible green cards right now.

I also include discussions about cards we took out, cards we banned, and cards we might add.
Thoughts on Inkwell Leviathan? Been thinking (along with others) about taking out DSC. Leviathan seems like a solid replacement. A few green Tooth&Nail/ramp decks won't be able to play it but I expect most will if they get it over DSC. Dunno but this kinda appeals to me. I'd say it is about as hard to deal with as DSC (no to Swords ect, yes to Wrath etc) and the clock is generally a turn slower. However it seems more realistic to cast it off artifact mana ect.
So cut DSC for Inkwell, run both, cut DSC don't run Inkwell?
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of DSC in general in cube, but I think that there is potential with Inkwell as I can't think of many ways to get rid of Inkwell aside from Wraths and combat.
Inkwell is a for sure with me. Blue Tinker has been a powerhouse in our cube in the past so DSC has staid in. I would much rather run Inkwell in this spot, as it has more potential to be ran in other decks.
Well this is my biggest update in quite some time with over 40 changes. The large number is due to Conflux and plenty of updates I've put off adding here.
Master Transmuter - Probably gets cut but figure I'll try it out Thieving Magpie - Solid in other cubes, gonna try it Tramatic Visions - Seems like strongest of land cyclers, should be good in U/x control and base U 4-5 color
Scepter of Fugue - Was very good at prerelease, wanted more discard in cube Nekrataal - Been meaning to add him for a while Evil Presents - Picked one up, seems fun/awesome in that order
Resounding Thunder - Added this a while ago but missed actually adding it, been ok Magus of the Moon - Has come up once so far in a Winston draft. We were both 5c. I had 2-3x as many non-basics, he ran it. I Banefired it. Goblin Razerunners - Strong in limited, see how it is in cube. 4cc is weak spot for red. Banefire - Yeah... Sulfuric Vortex - Seems like strong card for R/x aggro
Duergar Hedge-Mage - Spitemare was a little too small/a little too expensive. Hedge-Mage is insane and I should have put him in sooner. Malfegor - Don't like the card much but the effect is very powerful. Trying it out to see, might be awesome sauce. Progenitus - I couldn't say no to this guy... Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker - Ditto only this card seems fairly good. Dismantling Blow - Wanted more disenchants and this is a good one.
Armillary Sphere - Love it in Shards/Conflux, think it will be fine for 4+ color decks in cube
Dust Bowl - Seems like a good colorless land Grand Coliseum - Seems like a good colorful land
Cut:
Magus of the Moat - Vulnerable and expensive, might put Moat in at some point but concerned about fun factor with that White Knight - Worst of the WW 2/2s in my cube Hoofprints of the Stag - Liked this a fair bit but kinda slow and really only good in W/U decks Armored Ascension - Trying to cut back on cards that are only good for WW
Fling - In the past ~6 months I've seen Fling used to good effect a couple times Magus of the Scroll - A bit too slow, a bit too small
Skyshroud Elite - About 50/50 on being a 2/3, when he is 1/1 you want to die
Cold-Eyed Selkie - Cute but didn't really get there Sedris, the Traitor King - Never really had a proper shot which I regret but he's got to move aside for a dragon planeswalker ovb Spitemare - If this was a 4/3 or cost three, or in any way was a bit more powerful I'd like it
Rings of Brighthearth - One of my favorite cards but even when it did something it was too slow and expensive Epochrasite - Never did much, usually chump blocked once then came back a bit too slow to be relevant
Rustic Clachan - Fine land for a white deck but generally a 14-15th pick
Moved: Thistledown Liege to White - Lets face it no blue deck was running this. As a card that only white decks used I'm fine moving it to white.
For the next update, can you put your adds and cuts together for each color so I wouldn't need to use two different tabs?
I never understoood why people play Hoofprints of the Stag. OTOH, I envy people who play holiday and un-cards, they seem so fun and powerful.
Magus of the Scroll is great at giving aggro enough reach. Black Knight is the same as White Knight, but in a color with weaker creatures by far. Both performed well here. I only disagree with these cuts.
A very functional update. Most of what you have included were overlooked staples. Nekrataal, Rout, Duergar Hedge-Mage etc. never failed us, so I think they will be worth their addition in your cube as well.
I agree with all of your cuts and adds... and I actually think I might add soltari trooper to my cube because he gives white weenie yet another evasion guy. Good luck with the Progenitus, it will be sitting in everyone's sideboard. Nicol Bolas, on the other hand, already saw play in my cube last week. He's too exciting!

Progenitus has hit play more than once so far Today my friend said "I wish my deck has Progenitus." So yeah, NOT CUTTING EVER*! And yeah Nicol Bolas has been insane. Drafted three times in past two days. Each draft I got him, odd. Played him in two drafts and clearly won every game I played him including Ultimating in two games. Eight mana is a lot but in a control deck you generally will hit eight mana unless you die very quickly. Man cube is fun, going to post an update this week.
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker plays pretty well in the cube. It's not my favorite card, but it's seen more play and has had better results than Cruel Ultimatum did.
Eh, I'd only run one of the two, and I personally like the Nicol Bolas better. He has more of an impact on the board in the cube than Cruel Ultimatum does, making it better in the cube environment IMO.

Yeah he is a really good win condition for creature-light decks. One of the decks that had him had five creatures. Sometimes that kind of deck has trouble with a deck that has a ton of removal. Bolas doesn't care about removal, he just wins. Cruel IMO is not nearly as good, it is MUCH harder to play and is not a win con aside from the Raise Dead effect.
Bolas is also much more splashable than Cruel as only dedicated Grixis decks can run Cruel Ultimatum. Whenever Bolas has made an appearance, it has typically been game over and Cruel was much harder for decks to play and went late because of it.
Another big update, comments and questions welcome.
Added: Scepter of Dominance - Shaving a mana off Icy and puting it in white makes a solid card. Has been good so far. Adarkar Valkyrie - Picked up a foil so figured it was time to give it a shot. Pariah - Adam has been raving about this card so I'll give it another chance. Wall of Reverence - Won a PT didn't it? Should be absurd vs aggro decks and fine in general.
Hell's Thunder - Red aggro decks are very populat so want to see how this does Kumano, Master Yamabushi - Unsure if he is better or worse than some other options in the 5cc red slot.
Apocalypse Hydra - GR/x ramp has been one of the most popular archetypes in my cube of late Knight of the Reliquary - Seems solid but dunno Izzet Chronarch - UR has been gaining popularity recently with my cube and I think this is better than the "4/4" it replaces for UR decks
Master Transmuter - Didn't give him much of a chance but don't think he really deserved it Mise - Usually left in sideboard
Innocent Blood - In limited Cruel Edict is probably better and I don't run that Carnophage - Black aggro is never played so not going to waste slots on it Sarcomancy - Ditto Briads Cabal Minon - Cool card but not very powergul
Heatshimmer - Really didn't want to cut it but as much as I love it it lacks some power Hissing Iguanar - ditto and the 3cmc red slot was very full Flame Jab - Never did much Resounding Thunder - Not as good as hoped, needed to cut red cmc 3s
Boreal Druid - Making colorless is a bit awkawrd and is worse of the mana elves Hermit Druid - Card advantage was nice but a bit slow, can also just mill yourself to death with limited number of basics Soul's Majesty - Too many green five drops Dramatic Entrance - Ditto Spectral Force - Ditto
Malfegor - Too hard to cast, really only good in dedicated RB Crag Puca - Chronarch replaced it, like this for mono red so might even put it back in as red card
Scepter - Has been good for me.
Adarkar Valkyrie - A decent finisher, and must be a sexy foil. Kinda sucks in that so little of white's spot removal actually sends the card to the graveyard, but she gets the job done.
Pariah - No expierience. Seems nice.
Wall of Reverence - Yeah, it's good.
Nyxathid - No experience, but I plan to try it out since I pulled one.
Visara - Sure, she's good.
Kagemaro - One of the cards on my wish list. Let me know how it works, k?
Hell's Thunder - Is a beating.
Kumano, Master Yamabushi - Hands down, the BEST creature for a ramp deck (Possible exception being Apocalypse Hydra). Compare to Masticore, which is huge but tends to wear you down, wheras Kumano just keeps on giving. Also nice at preventing recursion.
Thornling - No expierience, seems ok.
Pattern of Rebirth - Was really unimpressive, unless it was put on a Sakura-Tribe Elder.
Apocalypse Hydra - Seems good. Can't wait to try it out.
Knight of the Reliquary - No expierience, unfortunately.
Izzet Chronarch - A solid man in my cube. Good in the control decks, and even gets run in many of the combo decks, Early Harvest especially.
I like everything except ALL the cards cut from black. I know you said that nobody plays mono-black aggro, but all the cards you cut help B/X decks (the 1-drop creatures are outstanding splashable cards in all aggro decks and the Blood and the Braids are great for mid-range and control both). Braids has been anything but underwhelming here.
I like all the updates although I really am a fan of Spectral Force. Chronarch also seems a bit weak.
The thing about Chronarch is that there just aren't that many good options for UR. On the plus side, he has a versatile CitP effect. He's outclassed by Nucklavee, but I just run both in my Cube. If I'm playing UR, I'm never unhappy to see the Chronarch; by the time I play him his ability will be releveant.

Trades/Foils for cube - Sulfuric Vortex, Goblin Legionnaire (Apoc!), Gerrard's Verdict (ditto), Knight of the White Orchid, Bull Cerodon, Glen Alendra Archmage
Non-foil Conflux cube cards - Tramatic Visions, Soul's Majesty, Progenitus, Telemin Performance, Banefire (maybe, was in 2hg pool and we're Winston drafting cube to pick who gets it)

Added:
Soltari Trooper - Easier for W/x aggro decks to cast
Knight of the White Orchid - Seems solid and worth a try
Rout - I've never cut Wrath effects from my white control decks so why not add more?
Martial Coup - Seems insane
Path to Exile - #1 card of the set by a mile
Master Transmuter - Probably gets cut but figure I'll try it out
Thieving Magpie - Solid in other cubes, gonna try it

Noble Hiearch - absurd

Order of the Ebon Hand - Mono black aggro just doesn't happen so cutting some of the cards for it
Black Knight - See above
