This card is good, but reading these comments, I think this is the most overrated card I’ve seen since original zendikar. Too good for a powered environment? What?
No one has really commented on how many cards this works well with in red and green aside from the 1/1 token. I have 16 cards in red and green with haste / trample or give other cards that ability (looking at you rancor).
Not a Tom of absurd interactions, but plus +3/+3 and swing turns 2/2 into 5/5, and can be saved the next turn is going to end a lot of games fast
Initial testing is pretty much inline with my original thoughts: extremely powerful on offense if you don't answer it immediately, but certain can get de-railed pretty hard by instant speed removal in response to the trigger, and is shut down pretty hard by Karakas since its pump ability is fairly selective. IMO this is the strongest generic Gruul card.

In my cube, there are 55 cards that have haste and / or trample, generate something that has either, or grants it. That's a tad bit over 10% of all cards in my 540 cube, although a lot of those cards wouldn't be played in the same decks.
Exciting to hear the strong feedback on this one. We have had a buffet of middling 4CC PW options for Gruul and Wrenn and Six never really appealed to me (also not worth a Benjamin to me). I will be picking this up - likely replacing Huntmaster of the Fells.
Having seen this card more in action, I think it's easily the best overall Gruul card and is probably also the best 4-cmc planeswalker in my cube. Everybody who has played with and against this in my cube has always noted how bonkers of a card M&B is. Its sheer offensive prowess far outweighs its weakness to instant speed removal, and it's almost impossible to race / defend against on curve. M&B is essentially the unholy matrimony of Questing Beast / Elspeth, Knight-Errant in the sense that its fast, extremely hard to defend against, and being a planeswalker means it really doesn't care about sweepers. Killing the hamster doesn't do much in most scenarios, and M&B will probably outrace you more often than not if you're attacking the planeswalker itself.
I'm a bit late to the party, but OMFG this card creates a 4/4 haste and then a 7/7 haste the following turn or you can sacrifice the hamster on the following turn to draw 4?
The haste is unbelievable these days to combat opposing walkers/ racing the opponent.
I'm wondering why this isn't seeing more play in Legacy ...

Yesterday I had this really funny scenario playing Cheaty Face Combo vs some sort of Control deck (I think it was Bant or Jeskai). My opponent Fractured Identity'd my Minsc & Boo only for me to Channel into Emrakul, the Promised End. I take control of his turn and use the M&B token to fling his own hamster at himself for the win. Minsc & Boo is so damn strong that it can kill your opponent even if they steal it
In all seriousness, I have been really liking M&B in Cheaty Face shells, it makes for a great alternate win condition / giant burn spell to finish off the opponent.

I think M&B is currently unavailable on MTGO, where most Legacy is being played these days. I have seen it in non-MTGO Legacy matches though, a walker that powerful that doesn't die to Pyroblast is huge.

Someone explained to me that this walker is unique in the sense is that the hamster trigger on the stack allows you to respond without giving the opponent the opportunity to use the +1 or -1, essentially allowing you to trade a removal for a planeswalker. It also isn't that great vs Karakas, which are commonly played cards in the majority of fair decks.
... This is all fun and great, but it's starting to feel every single card requires a half page article to fully unpack.
