Seems like a pretty insane Fairgrounds Warden if that kind of card is worth playing. It's got the potential to exile multiple creatures if it flips back and forth, and the flipside has solid stats, and even some weak protection. Ultimately it's just a glorified Fairgrounds Warden, but hey, it's glorified.
Personally, I hate that day/night doesn't have the full reminder text on the card, and that ward is missing reminder text. But that has nothing to do with the function.
Sweet card. A step above banishing priest/fairgrounds warden which aren't far away from playable.
A big issue I have with these sort of creatures is that most cube creatures I run above 2 CMC have good ETB effects which punish you when they re-enter the battlefield.
Still might be worth testing for medium-large cubes. Probably not gonna test it but may change my mind.

You're not alone in this - I been thinking about how my Pod/ Flicker decks are heavily 3 CMC or higher with strong ETB triggers and I'm really lacking good 2 CMC targets - hence why Wall of Blossoms was added into the cube. Creatures as easier to tutor for - but 3 CMC is really not where I want to be - I got too many.
My second problem with this is Fiend Hunter is slightly different from Fairgrounds Warden in that it allows the slightly unfair play of exile on the stack, flicker/ sacrifice Fiend Hunter or create a copy from Kiki/ Mimic Vat.

If I wanted another one of these effects after palace jailer, this would be the one, but the O-ring effects are just so much more durable and flexible.
I love this for my 720, although I might not play it at 540 and smaller.
Re: O-Ring comparison, while O-Ring is generally more durable removal-wise, the human body can do so much in a white creature deck. You certainly don’t want this over an O-Ring in UW control, but I welcome this for any white weenie or creature-synergy midrange deck. I also think the durability of O-Ring has been decreasing, at least for us, making the benefit of “permanent” removal for the enchantment less of a reality than it used to be.
