Seems inbetween Midnight Haunting and Lingering Souls. Being a creature is nice since you can actually blink / recur it (assuming you haven't exiled it yet) and can even Recruiter / Reveillark / Survival for it if you're desperate. Nice top deck late game, being able to exile at instant speed a large creature at instant speed is nice. I might give this a test over Hallowed Spiritkeeper.
I'll be testing this, but don't expect too much from it. Seems quite mana intensive to get value out of it, and not much of a clock, but there's a lot of strong interactions with it in cube.
It allows heavy creature decks to interact without sacrificing creature count for the engines. (Survival of the fittest, Birthing pod, Collected company, equipment etc). Also white is the color of anthems making creatures that have multiple bodies better.
This feels pretty medium to me but I bet it'd be a solid performer. I don't feel super compelled to jam it into my 540 though, my white three's are tight and I am still trying to find room to test Ranger Captain of Eos.
This is the kind of thing I like to see! It's good for tokens, skies, and blinks, and it's great goodstuff with a universal ability that it just so happens to curve perfectly into (while leaving behind a baby spirit). Bonus points for a somewhat useful tribe. I'm playing Midnight haunting, so that's an easy cut. I also don't expect this to be any kind of expensive. This is a card for me!
I find stuff like this a lot more exciting than stuff like Ravenous Hydra.
I wish the activated ability was a sacrifice clause instead of having to exile itself. Or if It was an ability I activated from the graveyard... but as is, I think it's a pass.

I was thinking the opposite. I'm fine with 2W up front, but I'd want the exile effect to be cheaper, like 1W.
In any case, I don't think this quite gets there.
