Naturalize isn't needed in green the same way Disenchant is in white because green has these effects stapled to creatures. Does instant speed grave-hate bump this card into the realm of playability?

I'm still running Deglamer because I think giving more than white instant-speed disenchant is important, but I'll definitely swap for this.

I’d be happy to play this (or Naturalize) if it’s in any cube from Pauper to Powered. But even at 540, I have like two slots in green that aren’t rock-hard staples or combo/synergy pieces, and I prefer to use them for weird buildarounds.

Plus I’ve already told myself for 2-3 years that I’d make room for Manglehorn, and still haven’t gotten around to it.

On Manglehorn, at least in unpowered, the tap clause is not worth not being able to kill enchantments.

If you run naturalize this is obviously better. The hard part of a card like this over say Manglehorn is that this is more of a sideboard card that you will want to frequently bring in, whereas Manglehorn you can run maindeck since it can still have some type of effect against, even if it is just a 2/2 for 3 in some situations.
I don't know, I probably should pay attention to how many decks don't play rocks, enchantments, or graveyard interactions though. Having a turn 2 answer to a rock, or exiling a key enchantment or graveyard piece though is a really wide range of threats, and stopping a Recurring Nightmare Chain before it starts could be huge. Graveyard hate on any card that has other interactions is usually really good for cube. I think cards like this are being printed so frequently that in terms of cube design, the correct answer is going to be very cube specific and will be more about what combination of cards you play that are answers to certain decks rather than the individual card in a nutshell.

Maindeckable (or even cube-able) graveyard hate is hard to come by. I'm considering this.

Good spell, but I don't think my green section needs or wants this effect when it's not strapped to a body.

There's no world in which this is a bad card, but most people aren't going to play this unless they were already playing a Naturalize variant. A strictly better Naturalize is not nothing.
