I'm confused as to why nobody created a thread for this card.
It might not compete with all-stars like Archangel Avacyn and Lyra Dawnbringer, but I think this card is definitely strong for cube.
5/4 flash flier for 5 is a very good floor, and the ETB effect is very relevant against almost any kind of damage. The last ability is also great, whether this card dies in defense or you discarded it to your own / opponent's cards.
Maybe smaller cubes won't want this card, but I'm pretty sure it's a solid consideration otherwise.
Plus, this enables some hilarious niche interactions - I love the angel tribal that's slowly brewing together. Resplendent Angel sees the last ability as lifegain, so you'll probably gain a Serra Angel out of it, and Lyra Dawnbringer gives it VERY relevant lifelink.
And I don't want to think about what you can do with bouncing this guy with Eldrazi Displacer and the like.
I like this card quite a bit but white 5s are stacked. Reveillark, archangel avacyn, and angel of inventions are all better. I think Angel of sanctions is probably ahead as well with a similar utility having graveyard value. The. There’s baneslayer and cloudgoat ranger as well.
Good card but I think the competition is too stiff at least at smaller sizes.
And even if you think it's better than something above, I don't see it lasting long as it's looking like there is going to be a 3WW angel in every set from here on out.
That said, I do like the idea of Angel tribal, but I think we need more cubable angels at different mana costs to enable that.
As a surprise combat trick, Avacyn is much better.
As a stabilizer, Baneslayer Angel / Lyra Dawnbringer are better.
Angel of Sanctions has a better ETB trigger and is more useful from the graveyard.
5/4 flying / flash is a decent baseline, but everything else it does is pretty poor. The ETB trigger is useless unless your opponent is attacking for lethal, and the graveyard activation is extremely niche. White 5-cmc creatures are very powerful, this just can’t compete.
The ETB ability really doesn't do much. It's a pretty poor plan to hold on to your five-drop angel until the moment you would die, and even if this saves you from the brink of death, you'll probably just die again the next turn.
This is falls into the zone of playable cards that suffer from being one of the crowd. People playing only the tip-top cards are never going to cut one of them for something like this, and people with more lenient standards have no shortage of options, and little reason to play this over say Cataclysmic Gearhulk or World Queller.
The main reasons to play this are either that you just love angels, or that you have a heavy graveyard theme, and need more white cards that play into that. And if you just love angels, they make a mythic angel basically every set now.

My High Octane Unpowered Cube on CubeCobra
2x Baneslayer
Avacyn
Angel of invention
Revilark
Angel of sanctions
Cloudgoat ranger
Regal caracal
All seem better than this card to me... though not by a huge margin or anything. It's a fine card.
