I played a lot with find//finality in the MTGO modern cube this last rotation. I was a big big fan of this card.
If you run a large unpowered cube I'd strongly consider testing it.
1. Very splashable. In a Black OR a green deck with a single GB dual land, the card is playable. It has made the final 23 of both heavy black and heavy green decks before. The archetype versatility of this card is almost as great as a hybrid card.
2. One side of the card is almost always great. Against grindy control strategies, Find is a very powerful card. Against agressive decks, finality is less good, but still capable of putting the game away. Both sides of the card are great against midrange. The only decks that it doesnt do much against are combo decks and artifact ramp decks. Hence it's a card that excels in slower/unpowered cube formats where those strategies are less supported.
I believe it's a card that a cube owner with a loose classification system can justify as a hybrid rather than a golgari card.
Note: I am not suggesting this card for cubes smaller than 720, unless they exclude cards based on power level.
I have a secondary lower power level 450 list and I was actually looking at this card last night. Good to hear you've had decent results with it. My current Golgari section there is Lotleth Troll, Putrid Leech, Life // Death, and Putrefy. I was thinking about replacing the leech with this.
It's a strong card because it's so versatile. But in the end, the sweeper part is just so slow when compared to Languish and its variants. The interaction with +1/+1 counters can be neat though, depending on your cube.
I have the card in my EDH/multiplayer cube, but I would not play it in a traditional 1vs1 cube, especially when powered.
It's been decent in midrange piles in my cube. Both modes can be good at different times. Took out Meren for it, and it has felt like a good choice. At the same time it's also the first of my 6 GB cards to go when I want to test something else
I think this card will be great in my cube. It's on a list of cheap cards that I'd like to get. Wander in Death has been very good, which portends well for this card.

You prefer this to Meren? Thats a bit surprising to me. I've been running Meren for a long time with a lot of success and this definitely feels weaker, but then I've never played with it so what do I know?
I think they are near equally good. Meren is probably better in midrange mirrors and finality is a better fit for the ramp archtype. And to balance my archtypes giving ramp decks a better tool than midrange is a good choice for me. Because midrange has a lot to play with anyway. Find is also way more splashable, this cards slides into monocolor lists that manage to get a couple fetches and an overgrown tomb, while meren doesnt have that flexibility
