Is this guy worth considering? Hard to cast but he has a good starting loyalty and can generate card advantage with his + ability, and ramp or recur lands (like stripmine) with his - ability. Interesting card if you have a value Jund deck or some Loam decks going on.
Probably not quite good enough since its a 3 colour card (I really wish it was just golgari) but I might give him a spin if I end up with the commander pre-cons.
He seems to be a viable midrange value card. 5 mana may be a touch too high for such a thing though, when it doesn't impact the board, though the case can be made that hee effectively costs 3 mana in some respects if you instantly [-3], similar to how Gilded Lotus sometimes 'costs' 2.
Despite that he was on my watch list as I'm not a huge fan of any of the generic big Jund dragons, but since Gyrus was spoiled that is a comfortable front-runner. Would be keen to add shard options in my next update.
My first problem with him is that he shares the same mana cost with a cards I want to pair with him for the loam deck, such as The Gitrog Monster or Titania, Protector of Argoth, although it does give players incentive to splash red into that deck for wildfire effects and Boom/Bust. I'd love more reasons to pair the Gitrog with wildfires by moving that strategy more into jund, but honestly a gitrog followed up by a Wildfire is plenty enough and doesnt really need a 3 colored walker. On top of that, he also competes with creatures like Thundermaw hellkite and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker within the Wildfires deck, which is another problem for his casting cost, but thats only when limiting him to that particular archetype. He could be fun in a slow jund reanimator deck, and I guess he also has weird synergies with Greater Gargadon and the hammer by returning some of your sacrificed lands.
He's got decent starting loyalty and has a +2, so under the right circumstances he should get to his ult occasionally, and it's pretty game ending in my opinion. But because neither his +2 or his -3 protects him, I dunno if that's enough for him to survive with proper aggro support. It kind of reminds me of classic Liliana Vess. I feel like his inability to affect the opponent's board is what would keep him from seeing lists, but with the right protection on board, he provides a decent amount of advantage in both reusing lands as an expensive ramp spell or drawing your cards towards a powerful ult. I'm not super keen on running him because I think he's just good stuff that requires help to be maximized, but he's not awful so I'm gonna put him up to vote for my group
It's an expensive 3-color 'walker that has no impact on the board. Hard pass for me.
Nit-picking here, but returning 2 lands could effect the board if you are grabbing manlands or stripmine. The mana from the lands can also be used to protect him. I would disagree he has no impact on the board.
There's nothing intrinsic to Windgrace that creates bodies or deals with my opponent's permanents until his ultimate. That kind of durdling is not what I'm willing to mess around with on a 5cc 3-color card.
Ugh. I so want to like this: it's a three-color, land-matters, loam-oriented planeswalker!! He's even got a deep lore connection if you're into that sort of thing. How could the card possibly be bad?? Oh, like that. The +2 is good, but filtering through your deck is not really what you want after spending 2BRG on a planeswalker, and the -2 only works if it's already been set up. He needs something to do to improve your position-- something you want to do all the time, but that still cares about lands and the graveyard.
My Jund section is pretty robust, so I didn't really need this guy, but I love what he's trying to do, he's just not suited to a limited environment.

On spoiled card wishlisting and 'should-have-had'-isms:
