Squee, the Immortal
1RR
Legendary Creature — Goblin
2/1
You may cast Squee, the Immortal from your graveyard or from exile.
Could be good, always having a creature even if he is exiled is great and it doesn't come in tapped or have a non-block clause. Red 3 drops are good but he is unique enough to give a shot. It's a fun twist on the original Squee.
Seems fun, but I don't know how good it is. Seems like a card I wish was a black Zombie instead of a 1RR creature. I think several of the Phoenix creatures might be better recursive red creatures than this guy.
This is my favorite card from the leak so far, though I haven't looked at it in depth yet. There is a lot of mischief to get up to with this, and a 2/1 is a lot more relevant than a 1/1. Between discard and sacrifice synergies, and just being an unkillable beater, this looks like a great support card for all kinds of decks. It's exactly the kind of card my cube wants.
Honestly I don't think this is any better than the original Squee. Both go well with Skullclamp and sac outlets, but Squee is way better with discard outlets, especially Survival of the Fittest. Regardless, I cut OG Squee a while ago so this has no chance for me.
I mean, if you're all-in on Aristocrats, this does have some interesting shenanigans you can pull off with it... Having 2-power really makes it a lot more valuable when it's actually in play. I think it needed a 2R cost or a keyword ability to really shine in this format though.
Probabily awsome in some sort of 1994 focused battlebox that you just randomly throw this card into. Potentially enables some whacky combo in legacy that a super genius brewer will figure out.

Well there is Food Chain for one, it's cheaper than Misthollow Griffin but you lose the ability to pitch your combo piece to force of will and still go off. Being in red means your finisher can be one of the uncounterable red fireballs. I don't think Food Chain is exactly a top teir deck though (Could be wrong, not a legacy player).

It's def not huge, but it's not nothing. The guy who was playing food chain back when it became a deck is still playing it and will bring it to the SCGs that come by, but it's nowhere close to where I would start for a first legacy deck nevertheless a first legacy combo deck.
I was trying to think of the deck and Alluren kept popping into my head when in reality it was the other green enchantment legacy combo piece, so thanks!
I just can't see this being good in cube. It's too slow for an aggro deck, it's not high impact enough for a control deck, and unless Food Chain becomes a thing in cube it won't show up there.

Interesting in win-conditonless control mirrors
Glacially slow for a powered cube.

yeah, sadly I don't think it's for cube.
This is still the best place for high-power-level cube chat & debate.
