The name is pretty cool in that regard!

Probably better than Mogg Fanatic as it does something t1 in terms of attacking. I haven't missed the Fanatic, but perhaps this could rekindle the fire.

Needing to tap it makes it worse than Mogg Fanatic still, IMHO. I'd rather miss out on a single attack for 1 than never be able to tap this for the rest of the game if I want to hold the effect up.

And this looks more like a Monkey Pirate than a Goblin Pirate. Hm...

Since when did goblins have hairy tails???

Bombardment is an engine card for an Aristocrats-style deck (or just a potent threat for any sort of token-heavy build), this is a random aggro 1-drop. I mean, you'd play them in the same deck, but they don't do the same thing at all.

EDIT: I thought we were saying fanatic and this were different, not bombardment, please excuse/ignore this (mod feel free to delete this post thx)

There's a lot of decks I'd play Bombardment in where this card would have no chance of making the final 40. I don't think they're really comparable. Decks playing Bombardment want the repeatable free sacrifice outlet aspect of the card, not the Mogg Fanatic aspect.

Mogg Fanatic is still a decent card here. I might add this in addition, but I'll not be cutting the mogg. As wtwlf123 said, holding up to use the ability makes this quite different (and less than) Fanatic.
