Watermarket
Land
[T] Add CC to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to cast spells with watermarks.
I don't think this is good enough, but for those of you with cubes that have tons of Judge and FNM promos and large amounts of cards from KTK block, RTR and R:COG block, and SOM block this could be good.
I kinda like this and may try it out. Of the 257 cards with CMCs it could discount completely (cards with CMC 3+, or artifacts with cmc 2), it hits on 59 of them (plus honorables mention to overloading Cyclonic Rift and still being able to cast Bonesplitter).
It also functions as a "regular" colorless land for 23 other cards.
I'm not sure this is enough, and there's room for me to fairly easily increase this slightly, but it's at least interesting enough to consider.
EDIT: If you run Signets, it hits all of the original printings, which might increase this card's stock notably.
EDIT EDIT: I forgot about Show and Tell and Griselbrand.

This can’t tap for mana for non-marked cards and you can’t use the mana to activate the signets : /

I don't think it does, otherwise it would have a separate line of text.
He just means that 23 cards with watermarks have C in their casting cost but not CC, which this can pay for -- making this a de facto "regular" colorless land in those cases.

Ah, ok, excuse me. So, 80 cards total it functions as a land, which I imagine is more than Mishra's Workshop. I wonder what the most you could hit would be if you went out of your way to include as many watermarked cards as you could, because I imagine that 80 amount doesnt include all options unless I'm wrong there as well.

Yeah, that's why I said "might". May still not be worth it.

Just did a quick tally and can get the total up to 106 without changing the actual composition of the cube (15 more fully-discounted cards, and 11 more cards where it functions as just a land).
I love the card, but you'd have to build a cube with it in mind, and that wouldn't be worthwhile.
However, a cube focused on a heavily watermarked block might be the perfect home for it. I really wish this tapped for CC OR one of any color, since so many watermarked cards are more color intensive than mana intensive, but it's cool.
For reference, here's a list of all of my cube's cards with watermarks that have or could have at least 1 in their mana cost (sorry Bloodsoaked Champion). There were a few other random things that I missed in my first pass (like paying for the flashback cost on Firebolt) so the count is up to 116. An additional notable is Snapcaster Mage plus any instant/sorcery with a watermark. May update with other potential notables in a bit that aren't in the cube, but that's a bit more tedious:
EDIT: Every time I look I find another one. I thiiiink I've found them all now.
EDIT EDIT: I WAS WRONG
EDIT: Additional notables. Where you draw the line may vary so I tried erring on the side of inclusion. Note that this list is arbitrary and also mostly limited to promos, because I didn't want to comb through regular sets for things like Mirran/Phyrexian/guild/clan watermarks:
This might be playable, but there’s no way I want to bother with the logistical issues. Also seems much worse than ancient tomb. At least hitting all, the signets is good.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
Apparently nearly every card in M25 is going to have a watermark that's the set symbol of the original printing (Jace doesn't have one, so presumably it's just that planeswalkers are exempt because of the extended art).
This makes me both excited and also disappointed - excited because this helps with Watermarks-matters, but disappointed because it means I'd have to potentially acquire a bunch of new versions of cards.
Does this change anyone's feelings on this card in theory (with the caveat that we don't know what's in M25 yet)?
wont change for me yet. even if there are lots of good cards in the set,
1) it may not have the art i want.
2) it may not have the frame i want.
3) has wizards fixed the horrible print quality yet?
I guess that's fair. If it's a card that's currently old-frame, I understand not wanting to swap it over. For me, if the current card is 8th Edition or newer, unless the art is somehow atrocious, I'll almost definitely make the swap. For the record, I'm currently at 76/495 cards with watermarks that have 2 in the cost, which is just over 15% of the cube.
I'm going to revive this, because the full spoiler for Masters 25 is up. In addition to the above cards, this release is providing the following cards with watermarks that are in my cube:
Anyone have any experience with this card? I've been slowly working on gathering watermarked cards so I can include this. Just wondering if it played well or poorly for those who tried it. There's 35 cards I'm planning to seek out soon, after which will bring my non-land watermarked count to 101 out of 312, with a few key cheatyface archetype support enablers like Sneak Attack, Show and Tell, Elvish Piper, Sundering Titan, and Myr Battlesphere.
I didn't end up including this card or getting any games with it, but I've drafted my cube on cubetutor a few times looking for how well it would slot into various decks. I think it's close, but not quite there (yet). Below are archetypes from my cube that it supports or semi-supports.
URGSneak and Show: This archetype is fully supported by Watermarket. Casting Sneak Attack, Show and Tell, Elvish Piper, the Signets, and the Fatties you are trying to sneak into play, along with some other filler cards (card draw, countermagic, removal).
WUControl: Probably the next closest to supported, but not quite there. Watermaket casts Day of Judgement, Mulldrifter, Clocknapper, Consecrated Sphinx, Dig Through Time, Some counter magic, Oblivion Ring. But it has a lot of misses. It doesn't cast any Planeswalkers, Control Magic, Treachery, Condescend, Glen Elendra Archmage, and a lot of filler. If a few of those misses got Watermarked reprints, it would make Watermarket more playable.
GRamp: There are some strong plays Watermarket enables. Turn 1 Forest + elf into Turn 2 Watermarket Natural Order. Also casting some midrange dudes like Thrun, Master of the Wild Hunt, Acidic Slime, Deranged Hermit. And even some top end like Terastodon and Green Sun's Zenith. I think if it could also cast Oracle of Mul Daya, Garruk, Prime Time, Thragtusk, Plow Under, Tooth and Nail, and some more filler like Wall of Blossoms and Rampant Growth, Watermarket would be great.
RAggro: There's actually some good stuff this does for mono-red. Turn 2 Goblin Rabblemaster and Legion Warboss. Turn 1 Shrine of Burning Rage. Char, Wheel of Fortune, FTK. But there's not much else it does. If it could cast Fiery Confluence, Young Pyromancer, the other Rabblemaster clones, Purphoros, Hellrider, Burst Lightning, and maybe some other filler burn spells/2-drops, it'd be supported.
Other cards this misses on that would make it playable: Upheaval, Wildfire/Burning, Twin/Kiki, all the Titans not named Sun Titan, Planeswalkers.
