2/3
Slightly larger, flying Imposing Sovereign. This is a definite inclusion for me. I love this effect for WX aggressive decks. Flying and +2 toughness is a fair upgrade for an additional 1. Less relevant creature type, but that is a very small concern.
White threes are a whole different creature than white two's. I like the effect but I don't know if I need a third body to do it with two at the 3cc spot. I'll make the call when the set's released.
White 3s are slam packed. White 2s have room for Sovereign, at least in my cube. Cool effect that I'm glad to have more available though.

I can't say I'm pleased to see you and must warn you I may have to do something about it.

I like this card and the effect, but white 3cc creatures are packed. Probably a miss for me, though the evasion and the extra toughness make the effect a lot more survivable, which can make it more impactful. It stays relevant in combat a lot longer than the vanilla 2/1 does. Might warrant some testing.
I desperately want to play this, but my white 3s are the most competitive place in my cube. Redundancy on this effect is pretty ideal for the kind of WX midrange and aggro decks this slots into, but I'm sad this dino won't get there.
The name/number crunch thread for IXLN have this guy as a 3/3 rather than a 2/3. At 3 power I think I'd test this. Evasion, Tempo, and the ability to temporarily tap down would be blockers both for this and your ground threats is nice.
I'm highly suspicious of its being a 3/3. A 3/3 flying for three without a drawback or restrictive colors has never been printed, and I don't think this is where they'd start. It's not impossible: they make 4/4 flyers for 2UU without drawbacks now, but it would certainly give me some creature creeping nerd rage.
It tested well for me so far. Not much to dislike, it is a high impact card in many matchups. I'd cut Sovereign first of the three possible iterations of the effect, despite the competition at the 3 drop slot in white.
That's easier to say at 720 than it is in smaller cubes. You can still find room among 3s for a card like this in bigger lists, whereas the 2s aren't anywhere near as deep. Basically, the white 2cc creature section needs Sovereign WAY more than the 3cc creature section needs this critter.
Basically, I agree with you that Thalia > Sunwing > Sovereign ...but I'd cube with Sovereign before Sunwing since the 2cc creature section needs playables so much more than the 3cc section does. The opportunity cost to get the effect into the cube is so much lower, because you have to cut a top-tier creature to find room for Sunwing, but you can find a spot for Sovereign by removing a card that is merely passable.

I am still pretty hype for this card. I just love this type of "disruption" for aggressive white decks.

I don't think this is better than Thalia 2.0, but this is a strong effect that really helps against aggro's bad midrange matchup.

No, but in larger lists, it can be nice to have some redundancy.
