Green 6 drops need help (Prime Time is the only one worth running in most lists), but I'm not sure this is the one to do it. Rampaging Baloths and Regal Behemoth seem better, and even they're not particularly exciting.

My Cubes - The Busted Cube. A fully functional, almost 100% custom cube. The project started out by asking "What if other colors got cards on the power level of Mana Drain,Ancestral Recall, and Time Walk?" Draft and enjoy!
Reminds me of Roar of the Wurm, but Roar of the Wurm isn't anywhere close to my cube. I don't think making it a creature that costs 1 less gets there for me.
Being an creature card, having trample, and being one less mana makes this infinitely better than Roar of the Wurm. I think this is easily the #2-#3 best green 6-drop (depending on how you value Regal Behemoth).
I can see an argument for Greenwarden / GoG (especially if you support Kiki-Twin), but I think the embalm is being underestimated with how many graveyard shenanigans / discard outlets we have at our disposal. We always wanted a mono-green Sagu Mauler and this is a pretty nice twist to it.
Even the ceiling of pairing this with a discard outlet and getting a big token for 4 mana doesn't make up for the floor of getting a french vanilla 6/6 for 6 O-Ringed for no value. I just don't think this guy is good.
I think this is pretty good. This is a lot like Roar of the Wurm with 1 downside and a bunch of upsides. No you never get two out at once but Roar rarely did that.
What I like is that it only cost 6, is a creature which works so well with green, and has great discard synergy. And 6/6 trample for 6 is pretty reasonable.
I think this guy is unplayable unless you are in a deck that can HEAVILY abuse the embalm side.
With a lot of self mill and looting he becomes quite solid...
Too narrow of a card to include for just that reason
Would have been a decent addition two years ago. Now we just have multiple better options. I would run the first four creatures that wtwlf mentioned before this. And I run only three of those, anyway.
The first three are certainly better. GoG is going to be better in cubes that support Kiki. Not sure about this or Baloths, but that's the level where I see Honored Hydra sitting. What size cube do you need to have to run 5-6 6 drops?
Reverse Deadbridge Goliath is pretty good. Cheaper embalm is likely better, as you are often going to discard this early to play it on curve, but higher CMC puts this up against stronger cards. I like it, especially since Fauna Shaman and Birthing Pod type strategies are some of the best in my cube, but it's kinda bland for a six drop. I don't think this will come close to your smaller cubes, and even I might have trouble squeezing it in.

Because your cube is 1500+ cards, there could be dozens of similar or worse cards in there lol like i think this is a LOT better than Crash of Rhinos, for example, and could be a nice replacement for many more. I've never like Ghoultree either.

I agree that french vanilla beaters are less appealing now than they were 2 years ago, but a 6/6 trampler for 3G is very enticing to me, especially since a lot of graveyard based decks can use some extra muscle. Same "flashback" cost as Call of the Herd combined with Primeval Titan level stats is too enticing for me to not test extensively since I got all the discard outlets.
Going through my list of discard outlets / things that fuel the graveyard (not including some archetype specific / fringe things like Daretti, Scrap Savant or Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker's ultimate)
This is a card I've been looking at to provide some redundancy for Vengevine, Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath etc to try to support a graveyard midrange/ delirium deck.
I've noticed that Wild Mongrel + Noose Constrictor is becoming less and less relevant these days and is primarily played as a discard outlet for reanimator and I would really like these two to be more playable in other shells.
