I'm not convinced miscalculation is better. Cycling for U is substantially better than Cycling for 2. And the different between 1 and 2 on the counter effect I don't believe is as great. I may test this over miscalculation in fact.

1 and 2 mana difference is huge, the same way that cycling for U is substantially better than cycling for 2. Just think, by using that logic for the cycling comparison, how many more boards will two mana effect than one mana? It is a LOT easier to have 1 mana open than it is 2, especially in cube where you are able to use your mana efficiently and fully often. You can't focus on the cycling end's mana difference without giving credit to the business end's difference in effectiveness, which is big.
Miscalculation is definitely better. The difference between 1 and 2 mana cycling only matters when you want to cycle the card early. Later it is very easy to find a window for cycling for 2. And you will very rarely want to cycle these cards early, because they are full counter spells early on. Miscalculation stays like that longer than Censor does. This means that you would want to cycle Miscalculation even later than Censor. At a point where the one mana difference in the cycling cost has become almost irrelevant.
Censor is cubable in larger cubes and I might test it. But no way will I cut the superior Miscalculation for it.

I disagree. Miscalculation is far more likely to counter a spell in mid to late game. It's also not always about just countering any spell but it's about countering the one you want to counter. If your opponent has you on a counter spell, it's far easier to play around 1 then 2.
As cube has gotten faster and more efficient, I've seen a trend where most decks curve out pretty tightly. Force Spike is strong in cube because of this. There will be times miscalculation would counter something and Censor does not. Fair enough. But I'm not sure it happens enough to where paying 2 on the cycle is worth it. Cycling for just 1 is a lot easier to absorb during a game. And conditional counters get really unreliable in the late game. Miscalculation is no exception. And using 2 precious mana to cycle it is not efficient. Censor will be irrelevant faster as a counter but it's always going to be super efficient on the cycle. And I think that is going to be more important with cards like this.
I think the issue is that it's worse for a counter to be irrelevant faster than it is to be cycled easier. I'm ideally always going to use my counters to counter spells--the cycling is strictly back up. Yes, Miscalculation is less efficient later, but I'm not running miscalculation because I want to cycle later, I'm running it because it's a splashable counter and if the unfortunate scenario of it being too conditional occurs then I have the back up. Censor is that much more conditional being a two mana force spike, and it makes up for this by cycling easier, but I'm really not as excited to cycle for a random card vs countering a cube spell.
I've always felt that cycling is worse on catch-all spells like counterspells. You've made your counterspell more narrow to give it cycling for Miscalculation. That's already made Miscalc worse than Mana Leak, if a fine card on its own. Taking this one step further has created a pretty watered down card. I'd prefer to see Traumatic Visions to this one even, as a card that does the opposite, helping you early on and providing value late, in any sort of cube with some sort of Cycling theme.
If the group you are in value counterspells as high picks frequently, a counter that goes late has some value in your cube, so there's that.
I actually prefer Miscalculation to Mana Leak. Is that just me? I can think on once or twice in years when Miscalculation has been payable but Leak was not; whereas I must have cycled Miscalculation tens of times. Perhaps I'm alone in this...

But with miscalculation I have cycled it tons of times when lacking blue mana. I am guessing I will cycle censor when stuck on one land but that is a lot less likely.
For me, it's been rats. The card has yet to counter a spell, and it's been drawn many times. A 2 mana Force Spike just isn't lining up. The cycling is fine, but I'm emphatically uninterested in a Reach Through Mists. It's got one more chance before I cut it.
Censor is at the edge of my 450. I do think that much like Supreme Will the flexibility doesn't quite make up for the added cost. Unlike Supreme Will though a cantrip for U is a better backup plan than Impulse for 2U.

I've been liking Supreme Will much more since Mana Leak retains its value much longer than Force Spike. It's also a bigger instant for Torrential Gearhulk to flashback for free.
It's been fine, it makes every deck and it's never useless. That may not sound like a ringing endorsement, but I think it's a generally underrated aspect. It won't stay forever, or even maybe not past the short term, but its not the worst.
It counters a fair amount of spells here. Usually I will be open with it on the second turn, and if nothing to counters pops up, I cycle. If drawn later, it varies between cycling on the spot (if I need to dig for something that can be cast only on sorcery speed) to holding onto it and cycling before my turn if it went unused.
I'm thinking on cutting it for Crystal shard. It's a bit of a weird change I know, And shard might be outdated in 360, but censor really hasn't impressed me.

Censor probably isn't a 360 card, and archetype enablers are better in a smaller list where you know you can get the pieces or they'll at least be available, so I like this switch.
Cycling a Complicate and Force Spiking someone (plus drawing the card) makes me feel like...
