Enchantment
Creatures your opponents control enter the battlefield tapped.
Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponents control, you gain 1 life.
interesting 1 drop enchant. i feel like it will probably just end up as a sideboard card which i try to avoid, but it is a nice tempo play. interested to hear your thoughts!
Only aggro decks really benefit from the ETB tapped ability but it's too low impact for not being a creature. Plus Imposing Sovereign and Thalia, Heretic Cathar already has this effect covered in spades.
Safe pass for control decks, the ETB tapped ability is meh since they don't care much about blockers and the life gain isn't good enough for them to dedicate a slot for it.
This kind of effect is a good tempo play when it comes on a decently costed body like Imposing Sovereign, on an enchantment, not so much. Easy pass for me.

This is going to be sweet in my Hokori/Winter Orb/Geddon/white weenie EDH deck, when I build it, but I don't see a home for this in my cube.

I honestly don't think this effect is great in aggro. Delaying a blocker one turn is not worth skipping an early attacker.
In control, this probably gains you 4-5 life against aggro (maybe more?) And it delays haste creatures and hinders hand-vomit turns that lead to 20 points of damage out of nowhere. Solid side board card against certain decks to be certain. Just not sure most cubes are in the market for that sort of thing. I'm not.

For aggro the enchantment played on turn 1 or 2 can put the opponent's blockers on the field tapped leaving them exposed.
For control builds this can enable lockdowns with Stasis effects. Also, life gain can really hamper aggressive decks or mono red burn.
I think the selling point is 1cmc, being an enchantment, and the added life gain.
