A discounted Light up the Stage without Spectacle. Not as good in aggressive decks, but I think it still goes into them. In other red shells, like reanimator and UR spells, this can hit cards that are hard to cast in the timeframe (fatties, counterspells) but it's probably rare to not get at least one card out of it.
I do like Expressive Iteration, and this is similar. 2 cards vs 3 cards and both having the exile-play clause instead of 1-draw and 1-exile may make this too significantly worse, though.
You could make the argument that Night's Whisper and Opt are good enough for my cube - and I will likely agree with you.
But the problem I have with cards like this is they don't really add any value and feels like playing a Pendelhaven/ Great Furance/ Flagstone of Torkir.

Expressive Iteration is definitely better, but do note you can play the cards from this until the end of your next turn, while Iteration requires you to play the exiled card the same turn.
