That is one easy condition to satisfy. A 5/2 flying that never really dies if it can get to the graveyard seems pretty nuts to me. I'm relieved that it at least enters tapped.
This might make the cut for me. I'm currently playing Rankle, Master of Pranks and Spawn of Mayhem in this slot, and this might get in over Spawn. Being a Zombie is nice, too.
This is everything I wanted Bone Dragon to be. Flash is nice, especially in the graveyard. This is discard / mill fodder also. 5 power means it pretty much kills / trades anything in the air that isn't a super fattie like Griselbrand / Dragonlord Atarka / Sphinx of the Steel Wind. Will probably test, always wanted a Dracolich in my cube.
This is a really solid card, but competition is stiff as noted.
I'll likely keep an eye on this rather than testing, but it could surprise to the upside.
Likely though, I think this will turn out to be solidly worse than something like Master of Death which can be more reliably recurred.
As a result, I think this probably won't make the cut.
I think that steve_man put it fairly nicely.
1. It represents a fast clock that essentially has haste.
2. It plays really well in slower and more responsive decks that may rely on the inevitability (and allowing mana to stay open for counters until end step)
3. It trades well with most things very well and can essentially "regenerate" for whenever it does so, meaning this this card can play a defensive role as well.
4. It plays well with self-mill and discard outlets.
5. There are plenty of decks out there that simply don't have the means to respond to this thing.
This is one of the cards that kind of blurs the line between "baneslayer" and "mulldrifter" in my opinion. It doesn't have an ETB and it doesn't offer immediate value beyond beneficial trades and blanking kill spells (the latter of which would be aimed at this card fairly rarely unless your opponent is about to win) but the speed, inevitability, and synergy with discard/sacrifice/mill effects really makes up the difference for me.
I want to try it out because stax is a big theme for black in my cube and this is a great addition for that sort of deck. Giant recursive flier with a reasonable mana cost.
A flash 5-attack Flyer makes this seem like a good baseline, but it basically can't block, so I think this is pretty strictly an aggro and midrange card. What I do really like about it as aggro/midrange top end is that it plays around artifact ramp wraths like wildfire/upheaval/Ugin (I suppose its great to pitch of an opponent's Balance too) really well, which most midrange threats tend to struggle against.
I don't think I'd ever play this in control (we don't even play much instant speed removal outside of red), but this could find a home in faster decks for sure. I don't like how fragile this is in combat and how much non-destroy based removal there is in cube that could hinder this card's ability to be recurred, but might be worth a test.
Interesting. Definitely a powerful card. Maybe a bit slow for pure Agro, but not by much.
I could see shells with some self mill and disruption where this really shines. IE works really well with grist.
what’s sweet is you can recur this, even if you kill an opponents creature on the opponents turn. Doesn’t require creatures of your own.
Or say the opponent wrath’s your board and you flash it in from the graveyard after a wrath.
I had to read the last line of rules text a couple times. This card doesn't cleanly recur from the graveyard as it does require another creature to have died that turn. For this to work in control, it will require additional mana to kill something, have a chump blocker?, or a sac thing going on. 5/2 flying is a big beater, but it does require some work to use.

Certainly testing, not sure % it’ll stick!
