@Sliver Lord I’ve been trying for days to understand when anyone would choose oubliette. It isn’t symmetrical. Only you take all the punches there. I’m pretty disappointed by that, although it would be nightmarish in constructed to do that over and over. Do you have a sales pitch in mind?
If you’re flooded, have no artifacts, have no cards in hand, and/or have some disposable sac fodder it’s not so bad. The upside is you speed your way to:
The 4/4 god
Nadaar’s anthem
Venturing into a new dungeon (minor)

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
Good points, I guess I just think a 4/4 with a mostly-redundant keyword is never worth eating Oubliette in cube without leveraging it against your opponent like a traditional Stax deck. I'd need to be at least 2 of the 4 qualifiers (flooding, no creatures, no artifacts, discard beneficial) to be willing to take the risk of speeding to the 4/4 instead of hopefully hurting my opponent with the next few ventures. It's just a 4/4 that drained you both for 1 *shrug*
I like Nadaar quite a bit with the various lines of play available, and his absolute floor of a 3/3 vigilance that does something minor on ETB on something else on every swing is pretty acceptable. I think the venture mechanic will play well but need some testing. He's a nice blink target too - I may replace the recently added Elite Spellbinder.
I really love all the decision points and thinking ahead that venture represents but unless there's an outstanding card that demands inclusion, I think I'm planning to just skip the additional complication & explanation.
