Not a huge fan personally, but it is cool. White is just not a color that gets anywhere even close to 7 mana even when it floods besides in UW control, in which having an extra threat is great. So its a secondary hidden win-con for a deck that really doesn't need it. Seems good but just unnecessary, and probably not worth playing in MY cube. In cubes that aren't as small and competitive for slots I'd imagine this card is a solid inclusion. Maybe like 450 or 540 and bigger?
I just assumed that this existed somewhere and I’d missed it. At 630, this is an easy inclusion for me, although I’m planning to include the full mythic cycle based on the 3/5 I’ve seen.
I also like this one quite a bit. The 7cc mode is a more consistent high-impact card than the blue one is. But I agree that the red one looks the best so far.
I like all of these so far, although this a little tiny bit less than the red one. Still, seven mana for 8 flying P/T on two bodies with a free risk-free attack for anything you currently control is a fair rate, albeit not something we'd cube, but as low opportunity cost to a land is one hell of an alternate play mode.
The potential impact of a Flagstones (or something like Secluded Steppe et al.) is super low though compared to the potential upside of these cards. Although I agree that they make every deck better the upside isn't usually enough to warrant a slot, and that's coming from me who adores the cycling lands...
Giving you a respectable win condition across two bodies is way better than drawing a variable number of cards. Unlike the blue one, I like this card a lot.
And the best part is that white is easily the worst color so as long as there are 15 better white cards in this set I can find room. While it still will only matter <5% of games I think it is much better at being the game ender than the blue one.
I agree on cutting Sun Titan (unless it's doing some kind of combo lifting), and actually think revilark has lost a lot of its luster in the last few years.
I certainly disagree. I love Sun Titan, and personally when I tried Serra she was sorta middling. I also still think Revilark is a fantastic card, and I'd have to image there has to be something worse or more narrow than those two to make cuts from, no?
White has so many 4s and 5s, which is why I went there for my cuts originally. Sun Titan and big Elspeth are my only 6s. I don't think I'd miss the Archangel or Serra as much as I'd miss Sun Titan. Hard to say. Reveillark isn't going anywhere. Cube has gotten to a place (finally) where cuts for small and mid-sized cubes are agonizing.
As powerful as Emeria's Call is, I may let it go just because I don't like the potential cuts.
Winds has been so good for me personally, I can’t imagine cutting that either. I think I like it more that most white 4s/5s tbh, that’s almost always what I end up cutting from since there’s just so many already. I’m not sure how many white cards we’re adding, but of the cards we’d be cutting from would probably be Student of Warfare, Glory-Bound Initiate, Recruiter of the Guard, and Restoration Angel, and of those the initiate and the recruiter are probably the cuts, even though Student sees by far the least play.
I can't imagine cutting student or restoration angel. Not sure of the exact cut yet, won't worry about it until I actually get one. But my initial guess is this is a top 40 white section cube card. Trim an extra one drop, three drop, walker, whatever you are running too much of. This card shouldn't really compete with existing cards as white has no flood insurance otherwise.
At 465, I cut Winds of Abandon and Glory-Bound Initiate a while ago. Either of those is a fine cut for this. I'll likely be cutting Serra the Benevolent. Resto, Student of Warfare, and Recruiter are no where near my chopping block.
I cut Student and Recruiter ages ago, but Winds could be the one to leave. The card is solid but cuts are super tough. And I need a couple just for white alone now...
Emphatic NO. Over Reveillark perhaps. I also agree that Sun Titan is a bit of a place-holder 6 drop. It's not great, but its the best we've got right now.

Hold on, why isn't there already a thread for this?
The spell is definitely more impactful than the blue one.
Two angels to block and indestructibility for your attackers. It's pretty braindead, but it's worth the mana.
Bonus: The 3 life lost is less problematic in white due to life gain.

Few are cubing Flagstones of Trokair, for example.

I don't think it's a matter of cutting either of those. This is a different role than those cards.
