There’s also a large number of creatures that can be hit by this, even at 360.
It seems a bit too slow and mana intensive for me to get too excited about it but I could imagine someone arguing that it could give weenie decks a long-term engine in bad match-ups... maybe:
A vast majority of creatures are 3 or less mana, this could be pretty good. I might test this. I think it might be one of those cards that plays better than it looks, or it could be hot garbage.
I'm uncertain of how potent this card will be. As a 5 mana reanimate spell, you better be bringing back something like a Goblin Rabblemaster. But, provided you do go wide or grab haste or evasion, it's possible aggro decks could want this in specific matchups.
I think the biggest problem is that it seems narrow. I think it'll be good post-wrath ... but against midrange, against maybe someone playing that new green baneslayer; I'd rather have a different card in my utility slot altogether, maybe just an oblivion ring or something. Elsewhere, maybe aristocrats would appreciate being able to bring back a blood artist that got taken out earlier? But I think use is too limited.
Overall I think the effect is useful, and the cost can be worth it under certain circumstances. But, my guess is it will never get the mileage to justify the slot.
I'm actively maintaining a comprehensive article to help explain to new cube players how some complex vintage level cards work in a cube environment. Vintage Cube Cards Explained
Opinions on this? It's not the "white card draw" we've been promised but it's a source of card advantage which plays in an interesting design space

thats my cube
They are trying to get the opponent dead as fast as possible, utilizing disruption and speed.
on turn 7, a bunch of 1-2 mana creatures is not going to cut it. It’s good in that scenario, but Doesn’t make up for it doing nothing on curve.
