Looks very solid. Sets up reanimation later if you want, or plays well in any U/x aggro deck. Seems worth testing at a minimum.

Seems pretty awesome. Draw 2 for 1U is unprecedented, and while this won't find a home in non-creature blue builds other than maybe as a 23rd card or as a discard enabler (EDIT: on second thought, why wouldn't any blue deck play this, unless it was the sickest non-creature blue deck ever? lol), it seems like an auto include in any tempo deck. If your blue decks never attack this might not interest you, but if you do this seems rad as this card retains value way past the second turn.

Might have some eternal play too. A delver deck might at least play one of these. This card seems really good when you deck wants to attack. Or maybe it's just plain old really good.

Its hard to make room for new cards in blue, but this looks great. I think I like it more than Compulsive Research.

2 mana draw-discard spell in blue that isn't card disadvantage? And supports blue aggro as well?

Looks like a hard staple to me. I've been waiting for this card for a long time.

When it is Divination for 1U, it's insane value and when it is Catalog at sorcery speed for 1U it's fair. The condition here is so easy to meet though that I think it will be the former more than the latter. Excellent card.

Yeah, I'm going to replace an older draw spell for this. It's always cheap and you're basically choosing whether you want to discard or not. That makes it super versatile and i think most blue decks will play it.

While I do like this card, I would discard a second card to untap 3 lands... any day. This card is great, but if you are running blue aggro in a smaller Cube, I just don't think there is room for this and I would say that is really where it is going to shine. I put this card in 450 and up over maybe something like Deep Analysis

I think I'll replace Gitaxian Probe. This is just a way bigger effect. I may move Probe into colorless, just for fun.

Card seems nuts. 360/450 doesn't get too many cards these days, but this one seems in contention to me, despite the competition.

card is great but man its tough to find blue cuts! i guess maybe its time for psionic blast to go... although i do love burning someone to death with a blue spell.

Certainly looks good. Draw 2 pitch 1 is a decent rate for 2 mana, and a 1U draw 2 is really good. I think I'll test this spell.

I like the flexibility of it being both a discard outlet for graveyard shells and a potential draw 2 for 2. Whisper is a fine card though, and sees a fair bit of play in multiple formats, including cube.

2 life in black kinda sucks, mostly due to a lot of stuff in black self-hurting. It's not bad, and it's constantly in and out of my own cube, but it can feel really bad in control builds and can be kinda awkward in low curve pox builds.

I'm running Night's Whisper, but it doesn't seem to make a lot of decks... just hangs out in the sideboard a lot. It's constantly on my list when considering cuts.

There's very few situations where losing 2 life can be turned to your advantage, especially in cube. But getting to discard one card off this, on T2, is a boon for some decks. Being able to support both creature-based blue decks (a group that could use a little love) and graveyard-abusing decks is what locks this card in for me.

I really like this card. I play Tormenting Voice in red as a graveyard enabler and even the base-mode here is a better Voice. Add to that the option to make this a pure card advantage spell and we have a perfectly cubable card.

Wow this card is nutsZ it's so easy to control the modality of this in cube and turn the drawback into a win or just mitigate. I'm a fan and will test!

Why specifically Swiftspear? You either get the prowess bonus or you get to keep the extra card. Never both.

Being a sorcery makes it a little awkward with prowess creatures, unfortunately. But you still get the CA, so that's nice.

The card I like the most so far out of this set.
