Eh, I don't really think it's 'sad'--sad is grandma dying, not a fringe card not seeing play in a game where cube spots are pretty valuable and a lot of great cards don't have room to squeeze in--but that's a semantics discussion that's prob not worth going through.
Either way, I am happy it's working for you, and it's good to have the thread here for archiving reasons
that's exactly why I've posted informations about it, since people could see it from a different angle ans perspective.
And I appreciate it. It's a good thread, and good discussion. For folks running strategies that this card can fit into, it looks like a fine addition. It just doesn't work for us, and that's okay too.
I mean, if you regularly play multiplayer this seems reasonable to consider. Otherwise I tend to agree with the others that this kind of effect is too inconsistent and narrow to be worth 6 mana, and hence a slot in the cube... And mine is 700 cards, so I've got more space than most!

Looking at your list, I see that you don't fully support the cheat archetype, espcially in red. I mean, you don't run Through the Breach, most Eldrazis and other color stuff that you want to sneak into play with it. Only for that reason, I think DT has absolutly no place in your cube. You do have space for it though, that's not about that. It's just that most of your flex slots are occupy by cards like Reckless Charge, Moltain Rain, Stone Rain, Red Sun's Zenith, Ravenous Baboons, Aviricious Dragon, Dualcaster Mage, Generator Servant and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm saying it's not appreciate to proceed as you do. It's only about philosophy and color pie managing matters I think. I mean, I like my strawberry pie with some rapsberry and even some cranberry. I guess you prefer it plain strawberry.

Well, it's not really a decision regarding color philosophy - I'd love to get a Through the Breach and support more of the cheaty archetypes in red. In this card's case though, it just seems very unappealing to need six mana for your combo effect. If you play any appreciable amount of multiplayer then this could be attractive, and it makes sense that if you want to go deep on Oath support this is a solid second-tier option to flesh out the archetype. In my case, I found that aggro needs a lot of extra space in a 700+ card cube to stay viable against the other theaters, which means most of the "flex" slots aren't that flexible. So while it does to some extent come down to a difference in design philosophy, I can't imagine really wanting this card unless you're pushing cheaty strategies super hard. Good to know about though, and definitely strong in multiplayer-focused cubes!
