The Kiki combo was mentioned seven posts after OP where the card was spoiled, I am bemused that no-one spotted that.
It's a weird interaction, and it was the 4th post after by Steve Ice within less than an hour of the posting, so not really that crazy.
What I mean is that I was surprised that us cube forum goers were not (as a whole) aware of it since it was highlighted nearly immediately in the Rumor Mill. I didn't think of it until reading that, but I don't run Kiki so it kind of passed me by.

I try not to poison my brain with the card evaluations of people in the rumor mill.
So you can use Kiki/Twin to get infinite attack steps but if they have blockers that blank you then infinite combat turns wont actually allow you to win. Not being able to go wide means the combo may or may not actually win you the game based on the board state. I support the combo in my cube but this feels like an iffy include for me.
This card is simply insane. So many ways to abuse its effect. 1-drop creature, into Skyship Raider, into this, into Hellrider is game. Great aggro-combo piece. I love it!

This is where I'm at. It's an interesting and high ceiling 3drop for red-based aggro. Red has some good 3drops, but they go into all kinds of specific decks: Feldon, Squee, the token makers, etc. This is an interesting beater that does work across archetypes. Plus it fills a hole for aggro while being useful elsewhere. Plus it's just plain interesting.
I was even thinking about playing this in RG ramp, to double up on Rofellos and other dork activations.
I can't say I'm pleased to see you and must warn you I may have to do something about it.

Red 3's aren't that deep yet, so even if I weren't running Kiki-Jiki/Twin combo I'd still be wanting to test this. Running the combo, though, makes this an auto include, especially since it's another red combo piece for Twin, and it even curves into Twin. Windmill slam.

It is very close. My 3 drops being fragile is ok but Goblin Rabblemater and Hanwier garrison have set a high bar for must kill aggressive 3s. The sticky part for me is that it is really bad alone as it doesn't even uptap itself. So even if it does not die in combat you really need other threatts for this to pay off.
That said, two cracks from a hastey hellrider is ridiculous.
haha but you can still safely use him every turn. You can exert him one turn, protect + untap him w/ maze, and then the downside of exerting is mitigated for your next turn where you can lather, rinse, repeat giving yourself two attack steps every turn.
I'm def going to test this for the lulz but I don't have high hopes. It needs other threats and a turn after you play it to have an impact and I think those conditions won't be met as often as they would need to for this to be a staple. Will be hilarious when it works though.
Oh man, I love Squee, Goblin Nabob. Always finding new and interesting ways to abuse it. Featured him with Pack Rat in the last draft; that was fun! Also, great with Smuggler's Copter now, as it turns the loots into card advantage, and can also be cast to crew it post-sweeper!

I love Squee as well. Finding Cuts is just so hard though!
So I decided to re-introduce the Kiki-Twin combo into my cube about a month ago and realized that I forgot about Combat Celebrant (also for some reason I thought it cost 3R). Throwing it back in to support the combo obviously but just wondering if people had success without in aggro decks not supporting the combo.

It's not the best aggro 3 drop, but it does the job. It dies to everything, but needing to untap with a 3 drop is less brutal than it is with a Baneslayer Angel.
Been discovering a lot of cool tricks with Combat Celebrant lately ever since re-adding the Kiki-Twin package (which I've been enjoying a lot and has been pretty popular amongst other drafters). Kiki-Twin decks tend to just win at least half their games with beatdown and a lot of combo pieces are able to break the exert trigger: Pestermite / Deceiver Exarch / Great-Oak Guardian can untap Combat Celebrant allowing it to attack twice off its own exert trigger. Restoration Angel blinking it allows it to exert and attack again the following turn.

If the blocker's don't have first strike or protection from you, sure.

Pairs nicely with selvala.
Curving selvala into celebrant is, Draw a card and 4 mana to work with the turn it comes into play.
The turn after have a ton of mana to work with, as you can untap Sylvala twice if needed.
