With 2017 around the corner, what new cards are you hoping to see to fill out your cube?
1. Black 5 drop. Custodi Lich was a start.
2. Red 2 drop. Young Peezy and Abbot were good starts, but I'd love to get a legit P1P1 red 2 drop.
3. Another red 2/1 with no drawback. We'll get there someday.
4. A bigger black planeswalker worth playing. I would love to see for black what Chandra, Flamecaller was for red. It would be a boost to black-based control.
5. Shard tri-brids. The wedge tribrids are so versatile and cool. I'd love to see something similar for the shards.
6. An awesome Simic card. There are lots of pretty-good options, but other than Edric, nothing that really screams at you.
7. Reprints! The big ones for me personally are Liliana of the Veil, Noble Hierarch, enemy fetches, and Crucible.
What would you like to see?

I can't say I'm pleased to see you and must warn you I may have to do something about it.
EDH: UGEdric

Modern: UGRDelver
Draft my cube: Eric's 390 Unpowered
Some things off the top of my head besides the universal black planeswalker / black 5-drop:
- Slow Bolt (sorcery Lightning Bolt)
- Magus of the Crucible (of Worlds)
- A new Nicol Bolas that would set the benchmark for tri-colored cards.
- More fight cards! I love that mechanic but the only thing in my cube that resembles a fight card is Garruk Relentless.
- A playable Fork / Misdirection spell attached to a Counterspell? Insidious Will with only 2 modes for 1UU would've been sick and even more dope than Disallow (Counterspell / Stifle).
- Some good blue 5-drop creatures would be nice to replace Meloku / Morphling who I only really play to combo with Opposition.
- Magus of the Opposition (literally just thought of that)
- 2R creature with ETB Chaos Warp for non-land permanents?
- Functional reprint of Plow Under (a man can dream....)
All the basic usual wants: more red 1 drops, black 5 drops, black planeswalker, etc.
But more specifically, I want a 4 mana replacement for Day of Judgment. I don't like running functional reprints, especially ones that are arguably worse than other inclusions, so I'd like another 4 mana white wrath that has some slight upside so that Wrath of God isn't the clear cut winner.
The rest of the BFZ dual land cycle.
Also, I'd like some more fatties in black and green. A 6 drop friend for Grave Titan, a 7 drop to bridge the gap to Griselbrand, and some more big green idiots so I can finally replace Avenger of Zendikar and Terastodon.
A 1-2 mana black discard outlet that isn't just embarrassing for mucking up the ground.
An instant-speed Creature/Land sacrifice outlet with no mana cost that isn't Gargadon. Especially in B, W or colorless.
A critical mass of Morph creatures to truly conceal a Willbender.
Another blue 2-drop that doesn't feel bad to cast on turn 2.
Another red 2-drop that doesn't feel bad to cast on turn 4.
Another black 2-drop that doesn't feel bad to cast.
The following reprints: Armageddon, Land Tax, Opposition, Upheaval, Tinker, Mind Twist, Necromancy, Exhume, Imperial Recruiter, Worldly Tutor, Smokestack, Tangle Wire, Rishadan Port and Strip Mine.
More red 1-drops and 2-drops and a green 6-drop.
A 1-2 mana black discard outlet that isn't just embarrassing for mucking up the ground.
Another black 2-drop that doesn't feel bad to cast.
We've gotten some sweet black 2 drops lately: Scrapheap Scrounger, Asylum Visitor, and Heir of Falkenrath. One of those is a discard outlet, even, and the other two have cool synergies with discard. You're still short?
I've been pretty happy with Regal Behemoth. The body is great, the mana fixing and doubling can be absurd if you have something to do with it, and most importantly, Monarch is awesome.

More discard outlets, more black and red two drops (although the white two drops are far from uniform in power as well), red and black one drops, another green six drop, a playable white disenchant on a stick
A lot of great suggestions already, here are a more few things I'd really like to see in each color.
WRest in Peace on a creature with respectable stats U Another playable counterspell for 1u. B It's already been said, but a decent 5-drop. We really need one! RPillage on a creature. R A red version of Looter Il-kor/Wharf Infiltrator. That is, red rummager that gets in for damage with better stats than Academy Raider. GA green 3-drop beater that's bigger than a 3/3 and doesn't cost ggg. G More one-drops like Kessig Prowler that pull players into green aggro. x A colorless aggro 1-drop, like a Jungle Lion for 1.
And finally, for my Peasant cube an uncommon reprint of Earthquake.

465 card Unpowered cube thread. Draft it here and I'll be happy to return the favor.
450 card Peasant cube thread. Draft it here.
I would like a new cycle of moxen that have time counters on them so they are good for only two turns.
More good equipment (probably will not happen with vehicles amok)
More one drops with upside (any color).
More utility lands.
This will be more likely in supplemental products, but I liked clue stones and would like to see more variants of that mechanic.
I thought that the transformed brizella concept was cool, putting two cards together for a larger card. I would like to see this concept pushed for other card types (lands combining, artifacts, etc) not sure how that fits into cube but it could be cool.
I would like a new cycle of moxen that have time counters on them so they are good for only two turns.
That is so unprintable. Storm doesn't really give a ***** if it's moxen leaves in two turns when they're winning no more than a turn later.
What about in a non-standard legal set so it does not warp formats?
Unless they were auto-banned in legacy they would pretty much ruin that format, and vintage would be wildly warped as well even with an auto-restriction.
I want the most beautiful masterpiece of nicol bolas, planeswalker. I want it to be like a Pokémon card where they rip through the card text with its art. Nicol bolas pw2 being stronger would be great too. Tri-man lands would be neat.
Red two drop, black five drop, green 6 drop, white two drop, blue one, five and 6 drop drops.
simic p1p1s or something enticing about the combo. Shard cards.
I want to see the Mirage fetches and the BFZ dual cycles finished: that way I could build a complete dual/fetch mana base in a budget cube.
More landwalk and protection for color cubes: it's not that these cards are awesome, but the flow has stopped entirely, and it's lame that there actually is no mono-red card with protection from black or swampwalk. A mediocre common here and there is all I want.
More wedge cards. I was sad when Dragons of Tarkir was yet another two-color set, leaving the wedges with a lot of development still to be done. We'll probably need to wait a few years on this one.
B/W and R/U auras. Pretty much none exist, and I have an aura themed cube. An aura with an enchantress-like benefit would be nice too.
I want to see the Mirage fetches and the BFZ dual cycles finished: that way I could build a complete dual/fetch mana base in a budget cube.
Would love love love a completed cycle of Mirage duals. I run double fetches now and would love to get rid of my multiples and return to singleton. (I don't wanna go the custom card rout). Every season during Commander and/or Conspiracy previews I'm hoping for enemy pair talismans and mirage fetches and alas, no dice.
- A Magus of the Crucible or something Crucible-like would be awesome. The lands.dec is so close. Just a bit more redundancy would be much appreciated (similar to how Selvala's Stampede gave Oath of Druids and Show and Tell decks another piece).
- Another 1cmc 2/1 for B. Need more 1-drops for blaggro.
- A colorless aggro guy would be great. Generic I mean. Not colorless/waste. Even more stuff like Scrapheap Scrounger (with a colored activated ability) would be great.
- Some neat Simic or Boros cards. I still need to try Bruse Tarl.
- Some interesting red 2-drops to replace the generic Thieving Grubs and what not.
- Some cubeable tri-colored cards ala Soulfire Grand Master. Stuff with a decent body but a high upside mana sink.
- Another cheap discard spell would be great. I've run Despise on and off but feel it is too inconsistent.
Given that my cube has a modal theme:
- enemy-colored commands
- white-ling and black-ling, to completethecycle
- shard-colored hybrid cards like the FRFlegendsandbombs
- more escalate!
I would love to see:
1). More support for a Blink archtype in the form of reusable blink effects like Venser, the Sojourner and Nephalia Smuggler
2). More support for instants and sorceries matter archtype
3). More self-recurring cards that are not just for all-in graveyard strategies
4). More support for an equipment-matters archtype
5). More support for Turboland archtype
6). More discard and sacrifice outlets
7). Cheap blue bounce with value attached. Select for Inspection was a good start
Aggressive white two drops on the level of the new black ones we keep getting. Two or three of these would be nice.
Better aggressive red one drops.
Green six drop.
Good artifact creatures, especially low on the curve.
Playable enchantment removal.
More pushed spell effects to replace creatures in blue or red, especially if those make tokens.
4+ CMC Black Planeswalker.
A Selesnya staple.
A foil version of Fiery Confluence...
You hit my list out of the park, I agree with everything on here except I wouldn't called our Selesnys, I feel a need for something in Simic on the order of the amazing things we keep getting for Azorious. And I will echo the white 2 drop concern.
Black 5 drop
Anthems in black or red would be nice (Maybe even strapped to a creature)
Another Young Pyromancer/Monastery Mentor token engine.
6+ Drop in Red that is super spicy with sneak attack.
Purphorous redundancy.
In general they have been hitting multi-color pretty hard for a while, especially with all the supplemental sets, so maybe they cab focus on some power cards in colors for a while.
Reprint more of the Portal cards like Sylvan Tutor, Imperial Recruiter, Imperial Seal etc., original art Serendib Efreet.

More landwalk and protection for color cubes: it's not that these cards are awesome, but the flow has stopped entirely, and it's lame that there actually is no mono-red card with protection from black or swampwalk. A mediocre common here and there is all I want.
A relatively easy way to sacrifice anything. Lunarch Mantle was a good start, but I want something closer to Zuran Orb or Claws of Gix.
A one-drop mana-dork in blue. There would probably be a Curious Homunculus, or Renowned Weaponsmith sort of restriction, but a Benthic Explorers or Apprentice Wizard sort of restriction would be awesome.
Somebody mentioned Magus of the Crucible, which would be amazing. I'd make it a 2/4 for 2G or 1GG.

Another good black walker, preferably at 5cc.
A better green 6 drop.
Another piece of maindeckable red artifact hate.
The rest of the Horizon Canopy cycle.
Another Crucible/Loam effect, preferably on a green body.
Another Welder effect.
Reanimate, Exhume, or Animate Dead strapped to a body.
