* Just Missed - Tooth and Nail (3.10), Green Sun's Zenith (2.52) didn't quite make the cut this year.
* Returning Champion - Survival of the Fittest has continued to hold the top spot since 2014, and also held it in 2009.
* Big Hitters - Natural Order and Eternal Witness received votes from everyone.
* Better Late Than Never - Gaea's Cradle and Oath of Druids crack the list for the first time this year in spite of having been in print since the 1990's. Newly reclassified-as-green Noble Hierarch goes from last year's top Bant card to tying with Plow Under as this year's #13 Green card.
* Biggest Rise - Plow Under has returned after not cracking last year's Top 20 to this year's #13.
* The More Things Change, the More They Stay the Same - Survival of the Fittest and Birds of Paradise both maintain the same spots they held last year.

I really like the look of this list. I'd move a handful of cards around, but the contents are pretty solid. Thanks for putting the data together for us!
I tried playing Channel in my unpowered cube for a bit and took it out as it was too strong. There were very few decks that could beat a t2 Eldrazi or t3 lethal fireball/massive GSZ or etc. There are certainly spots in games where it's unplayable which is why I didn't rank it above other cards, but I like where it ended up on this list because of how strong it is.
This list definitely has me wanting to take a second look at Oath of Druids as well as Channel, I'd never seriously considered running either in my cube before. I may also proxy up a copy of Gaea's Cradle to try. I'm also glad to see Noble Hierarch made the list now that we're voting on it as green.

Although it didn't make the list (barely), the card that intrigues me the most that I don't play is Tooth and Nail. Partly because I think it's a bit expensive (powered cube can ramp harder), partly because I like Selvala's Stampede more, and partly because finding a cut is difficult. How do people feel about Selvala's Stampede vs Tooth and Nail?

I love Oath of Druids, although it wasn't very good when I first tested it. I believe this is mainly because I didn't include the rest of the Show and Tell / Eureka / Sneak Attack package. Once I implemented the Cheaty Face package, I was hooked on Oath.
I consider Channel to be in "Cube Power" territory, so I don't run it in my unpowered cube.
Channel definitely improperly ranked.. Maybe because a lot of people don't run it?? If you don't run it, hard to understand it's power.
I guess it is a card who's power is highly contingent upon the targets available to channel into.. For example, I run 4 eldrazi(all 4 of which are absurd with channel), Karn, Ugin and multiple X spells.
I ranked it #1, but anything less than top #5 is crazy in my eyes.
Awsome to see gae's cradle getting some love finally
Selvala's Stampede is better as a redundant effect for fatty-cheating decks playing Oath of Druids. Tooth and Nail is more of a super-ramp support card. If you play both of those kinds of decks, I'd just play both cards.
I like Natural Order a lot more than Channel since it asks less about what is in your hand and more to do with what you want to do in those decks anyways i.e. have green creatures on the board, plus there are enough decks that pressure your life total that you can't always reasonably pay 7-10+ life for channel it win the game. Like it's a bit easier to set up elf + order than it is to set up channel + big colorless thing + enough life to make it reasonable. They're both sick cards, but I would much rather make a Natural Order deck vs a Channel deck.
I meant that I was relatively surprised to see it only 9th because it's too strong, so I deduced that, precisely beacuse it's too strong, unpowered cubers didn't vote it.
Oh, I misunderstood. I think Channel is a great card, and some of the votes that kept it away from the top of the standings could've been because of the GG cost or the range of decks that can abuse it. When it's on, it's completely amazing. But a lot of decks (even green ramp decks) can't use it effectively.
