Now if there was only a way to make the opponent pay the mana for it...
If you are very highly educated you will have the best words and you will succeed. *facepalm*
To get this on-topic: sweet idea of wotc to color-shift Recruiter while also slightly changing its effect to make it more appropriate for that color, very clever. White 3-drops are more than stacked, but I think we'll run this regardless.

I don't think the toughness criterion feels more appropriate for white. If anything, the red one should find low toughness and the white one should find low power. Still a cool card.
I was gonna ask if we could get a reverse where it searches for big things, then I realized we already have Fierce Empath, so nevermind.

Yeah, super excited for this as well. It's unfortunately not in the right colors for the kiki/twin package, but sometimes those decks splash for Restoration Angel, so it might fit. Also an all-star in the blink decks, as has been said before.
I've actually been impressed over time how much those cards (mostly Kiki, but sometimes also Twin) do great work in normal decks with one or no combo pieces.
This will be a very interesting card. Probably going to cut War Priest of Thune, something I've been looking to get rid of for the greater part of a year.
The white Imperial Recruiter seems sweet! Getting to search for agressive X/2 stuff is the definition of greatness. The list of legal targets wtwlf has provided is value. Really satified by this print. Being able to tutor a monarch card is the cherry on the cake!
I adore this card for many different decks I own and will pick one up, but I'm honestly having a difficult time understanding why everyone here is immediately slamming this in without too much discussion. It picks up your other great aggro/midrangey creatures, and even a combo piece or two. But I just can't shake paying 2W (ESPECIALLY with so many good white 3 drops) for a 1/1 and a similar creature card. It just kind of hurts to tack on 3 more mana to your good cards in an aggressive deck, and without testing I keep feeling I'd rather have any removal spell or decent-bodied creature. With testing I will probably turn around on it, but for 360 I imagine it doesn't feel good to cast.
It's easy to YOLO windmill slam this because it's an almost functional color shifted reprint that's already amazing. Honestly, Recruiter of the Guard is better than Imperial Recruiter overall since it has more available targets and white is a less aggressive color than red overall, so it fits more.
Because getting a second copy of Braids and her first piece of sac fodder is awesome.

I'm not 100% sure it's better than the red Recruiter, but it's been great. It tutors up so many valuable creatures in the cube and really assists creature-synergy based decks with consistency.
I wasn't originally going to include this but I brought it up with my group and we discussed all the possible cards it could grab and everyone got pretty excited about it. The above point is kinda why I am including it without too much discussion, it picks up a great aggro or midrange creature and commits something to the board.
As they are 1/1 for 2W you really do need to have a specific use in mind when you include them in your deck. Somewhat narrow but the power can be there.
I absolutely love this and Imperial Recruiter as a pair now that I finally have both. They are delightful fun, and quite powerful. Great to pick early, and usually good even if you get them late.
My favorite is to recruit Soulherder, and really get the recruitment going.
The Recruiters are fantastic. I do like that Recruiter of the Guard can also find Solitude now, as well. And yeah, Recruiter for Soulherder -> Soulherder blink Recruiter -> Recruiter for Solitude -> Soulherder blink Solitude is wonderful.
I'm well aware this isn't a popular take, but recruiters are somewhat low in the pecking order for me compared to other cube three drops. I know they enable you to dig into your toolbox for needed answers, but I often find that the anemic 1/1 body is a problem. I still run the white recruiter since it works well enough with multiple white strategies. Not a fan of the red recruiter since it seems too slow for red decks that largely rely on burst damage.

Yeah I'd agree with this. I'd cut Imperial Recruiter if I stopped supporting Kiki-Twin, but white has a much better toolbox of creatures to get to the point where I'd still probably keep it if I made that cut.
