At 450, I'm running what I think it's pretty safe to say are the best 4 cycles: ABU duals, fetches, shock lands, and man land duals, so I don't really have much use for these now. However, in the early days of my cube I ran the Rakdos, Gruul, and Selesnya fast lands as budget place holders for a while. They were obviously great in your opener, but were rather awkward if you drew them any time after turn 3 when they turn into Guildgates. I found that I preferred the check lands, because it wasn't all that hard to meet their condition in a 2-3 color deck, and pain lands are also more reliable. Some of these have become shockingly expensive recently, particularly Blackcleave Cliffs, so I can't even recommend these as budget fixing unless you already happen to have them on hand.
I've thought about running a broken cycle of lands before, but I don't like the prescriptivism of giving BR the fastland, pushing them toward aggro, and giving UB a tapland, cornering them into control.
I feel the same way, and I've always really liked trying to draft and play decks that beat the stereotypes for each guild like UW aggro and RB control. It's generally a bad idea to be a slave to cycles when it comes to spells, but when it comes to fixing every guild should have access to the best fixing possible.
I really like modal spells, so I'd love to see enemy guild equivalents of the DTK Command cycle.

I was running a few of them as budget placeholders and found that they were ok, definitely not optimal. At 360 i'm not trying to keep them around for very long, but they've been useful.
These lands are some of the best lands for a custom cycle because of how much better they are in aggro decks vs slower decks. I rate these very highly in aggro decks (just below dual/shock/fetch/creature).
As far as finishing cycles... I want the rest of the BiCycle lands.
I like them, but I think they're best used as part of a custom cycle.
Enemy talismans, as other have suggested, would be great. I'm sure there are other cycles where only the friendly color pairs have cards. Finish 'em out, Wizards. Why you hatin'?
I'm not afraid of heights, within reasonable expectations...
The card is in a weird bind because the deck that wants/is able to attack with three creatures won't generally be taking a lot of advantage from the free spell. The opportunity cost isn't insignificant either since the aggro or token deck doesn't want an ETB land, or particularly doesn't want a non-fixing ETB land.
I am deathly afraid of heights. I cannot go on roller coasters, and I regularly get panic attacks when put in situations where that happens. Just freaks me the **** out.
I enjoy Windbrisk Heights in EDH, but cube is too fast for it. If it entered untapped, even then I'm not sure.
I'm not particularly scared of heights, but I don't like roller coasters. I rode one a few summers ago just to prove to myself that I could, but I'm a person who likes living life at walking speed most of the time.

I've never cubed Windbrisk Heights in my own cube, but it's always lackluster when I play it in the MTGO lists. Looks a lot better on paper than it actually performs.
I'm pretty afraid of extreme heights, like looking over the edge of a skyscraper or a mountain lookout. My wife and I have been to several of those types of lookouts here in TN and the surrounding states and I always feel like I'm gonna pass right out when she wants to take the inevitable selfie next to the edge. My heart climbs into my throat. Roller coasters don't really bother me, though, which is kind of strange now that I think about it.

I haven't ever run Windbrisk Heights in my own cube for all the reasons mentioned by others about the awkwardness of ETB lands in the decks that can easily expect to be able to cast the cards exiled by it. However, I've noticed in the CFB videos of the MTGO cubes I've watched that while it's not a high pick for white aggro decks, it nearly always gets main decked.
I don't mind going up tall buildings or going on high roller coasters and the like, but don't ever ask me to go rock climbing.

I am a big Hemingway fan, though not as big as I used to be. When I was in my early 20s I was huge into him, especially the Nick Adams stories. At the time I was living in Chicago, and I grew up around the part of Michigan where lots of those stories take place. So there was a geographical connection for me, in addition to just loving the writing and pacing.
Now I teach English and we do a little Hemingway. At the beginning of the year, we always do "A Day's Wait," which is a 2 page story about a kid who's convinced he's going to die because he has a fever of 99, and he knows that anything above 40 degrees is deadly. Of course he's thinking in Celsius while the doctor is measuring in Fahrenheit. That's a fun one. We also do "Big Two-Hearted River" with my juniors, and that's always a fun one.

Old man of the Sea is probably not playable in most modern cubes. It's sort of the original Vedalken Shackles, but stuck on 2 islands unless you pump him and considerably more fragile. I played against this card along side Preacher back in the day. These are annoying cards if you can't remove them.
Old Man of the Sea is too narrow and pricey for me to try. I'd rather run Threads of Disloyalty, as that's a harder to disrupt and fasster version of a very similar effect.
I read The Old Man and the Sea in high school, and rather liked it. I'll check out those stories MikePemullis recommends as well, they sound fun. As hard drinking writers go, I'm a lot more familiar with Bukowski.

With the exception of Rofellos, I prefer to have my 2 drop mana dorks have the ability to fix mana. Bloom Tenders explosive mana generating ability would more often than not play out in mid to late game. Much later than we wanted in my powered cube.
Oregon in spring time is a sight to see. just bring your allergy medicine.
If Bloom Tender weren't a $35 card, I'd probably give it a shot. It may not be reliable as a mana fixer, but the potential for it to generate a lot more than 1 mana after you've dropped a permanent or 2 seems quite strong. I'm not sure what I'm missing here with this card, TBH.
Forget whatever you've seen on CNN recently, now's actually a lovely time to be in Korea with cherry blossoms in bloom everywhere.

I ran Bloom Tender in the reject rare cube briefly... until I realized its price tag. Good grief, why is this a $35 card?
Living in the DC metro area, it's always nice to see the cherry blossoms in bloom. We didn't go to the parade this year but have in years past. My daughter's Girl Scout troop got to march in the parade three years ago.

Bloom Tender only got really expensive recently, right around announcing the 4-color commanders in Commander 2016. It's kind of a mini-Rofellos in a format where Rofellos is banned.
That said, I've never had any desire to play it in cube, or even to own one. The idea of 4-color decks in EDH is nasty to me. I'm the guy playing 1-2 colors, and I like hating on shaky manabases.
My favorite thing to see bloom are the big black cottonwoods in the park near my house. We walk the dog through there twice a day, and it's cool to watch her chase after it as it floats through the air.
