I like this Sorin just fine. I'd actually rank him somewhere around the 5th or 6th best Orzhov card. I like him less than Lord of Innistrad and a bit more than Grim Nemesis. We cut him to give Kaya a chance in that slot for a bit.
My wife and I plan on visiting the coast of Maine sometime next spring or early summer. Something about whale watching or something? She usually just tells me what we have planned for vacation and I'm happy with just about anything.
I use Sorin, Lord of Innistrad in my cube, but I wouldn't be mad opening this guy. Regardless, he may be an addition if I decide to add more planesalkers to my cube.
I dismissed Sorin, Solemn Visitor quite early on as a cube card. Neither of his primary abilities impressed me as an improvement over Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, and I won't have 2 out of my 4 Orzhov slots filled by planeswalkers that are so similar on top of having the same name. It was great for me in the prerelease I was lucky to pull a Solemn Visitor in the KTK prerelease.
I don't really have any plans to leave the Seoul metro area for a while, maybe a trip to Tokyo this summer for the limited GP and to finally check out the city, but it's up in the air right now. It's not far, but I've never been there before.

I run Lord of Innistrad and not Solemn Visitor for obvious reasons.
Vacations? We might go back to Michigan, where we're from, for Christmas. My wife's mom has met our son, but neither of my parents have. So that'd be cool. But It's also $1k a seat to fly here to there, and on a teacher's salary, that's tough, especially with hospital bills from boyo's birth.

Right now I have both 4-mana Sorins in my cube, but this one may be coming out. As wtwlf123 said, having the token-making be a minus ability (and -2 at that!) is problematic. He was originally in because my WB section is supposed to be heavily token-based, but I'm just not sure he cuts the mustard. (In fact, I'm sure he doesn't considering that I'm not running either of Vindicate or Anguished Unmaking yet. They're on my list to pick up.)
As far as visits, my next visit (outside of traveling an hour to see my parents and let them play with the grandkids while I go play Magic with my high school friends) will probably be to GenCon. I have lots of family in Indy anyway, my brother and a good friend would probably meet me there, and I could get lots of cube autographs done. I'm really looking forward to it assuming the pieces fall into place.
Batterskull is excellent even when it's not being cheated into play on turn three. There have been so many times I've seen Batterskull in play and the other player is just going, "If that just didn't have [insert one of its many abilities here], I'd be ok." It's just a great card for almost any archetype.
My favorite battered food has to go to chicken tenders. If you're in a new restaurant and don't know what to get, you usually can't go wrong with chicken tenders. Also, I tend to eat like I'm four instead of thirty four, so I usually just get chicken tenders anyway.
Vigilance + liflink is a hell of a combination of abilities to try and race. Sometimes it's no better than a Baneslayer or Gisela depending on the matchup, but there are some boards that it resolves on that are just game-ending.
Extremely solid. Probably a staple at any level. Admittedly, I didn't play much of New Phyrexia, so it took me quite a while to find a Batterskull for my cube. I think I'd still take Wurmcoil Engine over it P1P1, though.
I have always wanted to run one but haven't put up the money yet. Colourless lifelink seems great for the colours that don't normally get access to it and it protects itself.
Does it get equipped very often?
For batter I'd go for fish and chips or chicken goujons. Special mention goes to battered mars bars, though I havnt had one in like 10 years. the Scottish batter EVERYTHING; pizza, cream eggs, ice cream, if it fits in a fryer it's free game
Batterskull's a pretty safe first pick, it's a great finisher in control or midrange decks, and even if your deck winds up too aggressive to want it in the main it's a great sideboard card for the aggro mirror.
Does it get equipped very often?
Not that often in my experience, 5 is a steep equip cost, so equipping it tends to risk a pretty serious tempo blowout from instant speed removal. It's nice to have the option, though. Nothing like turning a spirit token into a lifelinking Archangel.
I was born gluten intolerant, so I can only drool over a lot of the battered deep-fried goodness the rest of the world seems to be enjoying, since deep-frying at home is pretty impractical to do at home. However, a Chinese restaurant in my neighborhood does a sweet potato starch battered sweet & sour pork I just can't get enough of. It's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and it's slathered with this awesome tangy sauce that's flavored with ginger and pineapple.

Love Batterskull, and tend to take it higher than most. It's just an amazing card--great control finisher, awesome in midrange decks, so good in so many match ups, makes all your creatures beasts. A staple to the smallest cube size.
I wouldn't say it gets equipped often, but enough that it's a real line of play. Like Spike Rogue says it can lead to blowouts with removal, but it can also lead to stupid stuff like a 10/10 titan with lifeline and vigilance.
Fried chicken is delicious, and while less 'battered'(?) I have an affinity for fried chocolate bars. I use crushed up cereal, like wheaties, for my breading.
I like Skull a lot actually. I've first picked it multiple times out of mediocre packs. It's a nice stabilizer against aggressive decks and can be a pain in the butt for control decks to deal permanently with.
As for batter, it's a toss up between pancakes and beer battered fish, especially halibut. Breakfast food is my favorite but it's hard to go wrong with fish... I think I give the edge to pancakes though (especially if you have good syrup to go with them).
Batterskull is one of the best stabilizers. I've even had Tinker decks in which it served as the only true target. Equipping is not too common but always threatening.
My wife can't eat gluten either, so we've had to get creative, but we pretty much have it down pat at this point. We occasionally fry at home, but it certainly is the kind of thing you don't want to get into doing every night.
My favorite food involving batter would definitely be waffles, although foods that are battered and fried like chicken or fish are obviously great too. And then there's funnel cake. Basically, batter is awesome.
Batterskull is also awesome.
(Before I opened the thread, I kind of thought the bonus question might be about the worst head injury you've ever sustained.)
I love Karmic guide. It's a flicker target, a reanimation tool, a solid blocker, a combo piece, and dumps itself back in your graveyard to be used again if you like. Fun story: The first game ever with my EDH cube ended with a Kaalia deck getting Guide, Reveilark and Viscera seer to dig for extractor demon, mill it out, and kill the table. I thought combo kills would be very uncommon in my cube; my friend took that as a challenge I guess.
EDIT: Oh, and while I have no license I do have a car. It's an early 2000's Saturn which everyone else uses to drive my sorry ass around.
I like karmic guide, white doesn't have much reanimation and its proabaly whites best version of the effect. The small body seems weak but it can be a big upside when you pair it with cards like Alisha, reveillark or the other reanimator a that care about low power.
Like with deranged hermit the fact she kills herself is often an upside as you never get that awkward moment where you want to reanimate her but have no sac outlet.
Took me a second to get the question, CARmic Guide. Gets my bad pun seal of approval. I don't drive and have no real interest in doing so, I want a scooter though.
I'm calling "car mechanics guide" for aether revolt, it will read "return target vehicle from your graveyard to the battlefield."
Karmic Guide has a pretty high ceiling, and works really well if you dip into white for some of your reanimation decks (Unburial Rites, etc). But as a straight value 5-drop, I just don't think it stacks up to the competition anymore.
Karmic Guide is a card that has a ton of potential in the right shell, but I could never make it work. I'd prefer the more generically powerful white five drops.
I currently drive a 2005 Nissan Frontier, but I'm hoping to trade that in on a new Toyota Tacoma near the end of the year. My truck has nearly 260K miles on it. It's been reliable, that's for sure.
I wish Karmic Guide was still good enough for my cube. The competition at that slot has just gotten insane lately. I mean, most of us just cut Cloudgoat Ranger and some have even cut BSA. In that, world, Karmic Guide is relegated to EDH and casual. If I had two more slots for white 5-drops she'd probably make it back in, but that would likely mean I was running at least a 720 card cube.
I drive a Toyota Prius C. It's the best car I've ever owned and I will likely get another Prius when it's time for me to get another car, unless I strike it rich and can afford a Tesla.
I haven't gone on vacation since 2007. I have no idea where I'd go.

Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
