Jace is sweet. It's a blue phyrexian arena that can be a win-con for super-control decks. I run the bottom version and love it since it's such a unique card in that regard.
I do like baby Jace, because he seems very well balanced. Unlike other PWs, he doesn't really need to protect himself as much because your opponents will usually be okay with him using his +2 and hanging around, and ideally the symmetrical effects are not symmetrical.
I think textless Terror is the only really unusual card I run, because some of my friends whom I play with aren't really experienced with MTG as much, so I try to keep them somewhat normal. It still gets asked about on occasion.
Jace is a solid card, but there are many good jaces and he is not splashable. Jace Beleren immediately replaces himself, yet dies to anything and not a card that shines against aggro. He does see play frequently because he only costs three mana, but I cannot say the card is uncuttable.
Where I live is one great place to watch the sea. I live on a mountain by a bay, and the window above the desk on which I am writing this post overlooks the shore from 250 meters up unobstructed.
Party Jace is a good Jace. He's more of a Phyrexian Arena than a win-con, though. I don't think I've ever seen anyone ultimate him. Even with that, though, he's in no danger of being cut any time soon.
My most unique card is probably the miscut Ice Age Pox that has square corners.
Jace Beleren's solid. He protects himself reasonably well in the early game just by having 5 counters after getting plussed, and any blue card that provides a steady stream of cards can only be welcome. I actually have lost a game to a Jace Beleren ultimate, but more often it draws a few cards before getting attacked to death and sparing its controller a few life. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually gets replaced, but it's quite safe for now.
My single most unusual edition is probably my Korean black-bordered Savannah Lions, or my Liliana of the Veil altered by Steve Argyle to look like Wonder Woman.

Baby Jace is a very fair card. Some of the best-designed cards are those that feel symmetrical but can be tailored to break the symmetry. It's a tough card to plus if you play on curve as your opponent gets the ability to use the extra card on their next turn. But placed in the right deck or just used as draw one and eat a removal spell its very stable card engine.
I have an altered Council's Judgment that's house errata-ed that functions as it should in heads up. This was after a drunken friend got so belligerent he threw up in confusion.
I like Repeal quite a bit. But I haven't been able to find room for it for a while now. Commit // Memory and Into the Roil are likely better, so maybe the sun has set on Repeal now, despite being one of my all-time favorite bounce spells.
I'm going to keep the bonus question Magic related, so the answers will be safe. I want transformed cards CMCs to go back to 0 rather than using the CMC of the front half of the card.
I liked / ran Repeal for quite a bit, blue is just too tight these days. I feel it's less necessary these days now that since we've gotten a lot more powerful removal over the years, but it still does work in other cubes that I see it in.
Playing Devil's Advocate, in a perfect world where everyone played in a timely fashion, I would have liked the Top banning be repealed and Terminus in its place. I don't necessarily disagree with the Top ban, but it would be nice to see them at least neuter the deck without eviscerating it.
Or hell, just ban Brainstorm. The numbers justify it!
Seems ok in the early game but drops off steeply, into the roil feels like it would be better most of the time to me.
Considering the average CMC of most cubes, Repeal is actually better in more scenarios. It hits most cube permanents and draws for less average mana, and never needs UU. The biggest difference is when you just have to hit a high-CMC target, and can't. But killing a Golem/Beast token and drawing a card for one mana is just so sick. I really want to find room for it again.
I'm kinda meh on it. After 3 CMC it's slightly easier to cast than Into the Roil. I could see people playing it, but I don't think it's ideal.
I'd tweak the Reserved List so that in grossly small runs (i.e. Masterpiece/Invokations/blahblahgarbagereprints) could be reprinted. Maybe force it so that they had to have different arts, even though they would anyways because oldschool MTG cool isn't sexy enough.
I've actually never once cast Repeal. I've only been playing Magic for four years, so there are plenty of cards I've never played because there have been better versions of the effect more available to me.
It's not a repeal, but I'd overturn Citizens United. Regular citizens' voices don't count for much when gigantic organizations get comparatively limitless say in policy.

The best token killer bar none, but really not a great bounce spell. I want to use bounce as a way to gain tempo, but Repeal always costs more than what it bounces. It can never save me against an accelerated/reanimated fattie. I agree that Commit and Into the Roil are better, not to mention Cyclonic Rift. The chances of this card seeing play again are low.
I don't think I ever ran Repeal. Its inconsistency and mana inefficiency against high-CMC targets has kept it from appealing to me. Into the Roil is the only dedicated bounce spell I currently run, and even its days may be numbered.
The single MTG rule I'd most like to see repealed is the one making it impossible to tuck commanders in EDH, although I wouldn't complain if they were to find a way to start chipping away at the Reserved List to make it possible to do limited reprints of ABU dual lands.

I love Inquisition of Kozilek and it's hard to imagine cutting it ever. It's third-best behind Thoughtseize and Duress, but it hits tons of important cards, and three targeted discard effects seems standard all the way down to 360.
Favorite uncommon? Wow. So many good ones: Ancient Tomb, Force of Will, Fact or Fiction, Mystical Tutor and friends, Demonic Tutor, Wasteland, Maze of Ith, Lingering Souls, Eternal Witness, Tinker, Skullclamp, Reanimate . . . but my all-time favorite is Smallpox. When I played Modern, I played a Loam Pox deck that Raphael Levy played for a while, and casting Smallpox on T2 into a Noble Hierarch or Delver across the table, discarding Bloodghast or Life from the Loam or Lingering Souls . . . those have been some of my favorite moments in the game. It's a little harder to make work in cube, but it's a pet card and I love the archetype.

I probably don't pick IoK as early as I should, as I tend to focus on cards that impact the board or proactively add to the synergies of my own deck, but this card has wrecked enough of my plans that I can't help but respect it enough to keep it in my cube.
Aesthetically, it's the original art all the way, and I even have a border-extension alter of it in my cube. The new art is such a mess, that I can't even tell if there are any Eldrazi in it or not.
Love me some Swagtusk. Good stats, powerful ETB, rare LTB trigger (which really should have been a death trigger, IMO). Swagtusk is powerful by itself and ripe for abuse. He is definitely my favorite lifegain effect for cube.
Thragtusk is a good card, but I could see it being cut soon. I certainly like Deranged Hermit, Acidic Slime, and Plow Under more for my green 5s. I feel the ramp deck generally doesn't want tusk, and while I want to give green aggro support and tusk synergizes well with things like Restoration Angel and Recurring Nightmare, I could see a creature coming along soon that would kick Thragtusk out.
There's so much good lifegain in cube, I don't know if I could pick just one. Maybe Wurmcoil Engine, but its a tough competition.
I think Swagtusk is pretty safe at 450. Easily splashable, great for recursion and blink strategies, Works as a decent aggro topper, or a shenanigans combo piece.
For lifegain, I'm going to say Sphinx's Revelation just so that it's not a creature based lifegain.
