Search for Tomorrow is probably the best 1-mana ramp card I'm not running right now, but I don't think my cube would have to get much bigger before I'd want to include it. Because of the option to suspend it for G, I definitely prefer it over Rampant Growth and Farseek. It's doing fine work in my Peasant cube where there are a lot less options for 1-mana ramp cards that also fix.
First, your pun game is insane, Spike Rogue.
Thanks! I've had to skip the puns on a few lately, I'll try to search for a pun for tomorrow's card.
A good friend is back from vacation this week, so we'll have our regular Friday night crew together for Magic and cocktails.

I added Search in when I originally added in a Wastes package for C cards. When the C got scaled back, Search was one of the cards that was removed as a casualty of that change. It's a fine card, and I like it in combo lists that are using Heartbeat/Palinchron land-ramp shenanigans, but as a face-value ramp spell, I didn't need it anymore.
Search is good on T1. I don't want to pay 3 for that effect though and the later the game goes the less I want this anyway. It's mostly out of my combo list because I'm not running any suspend cards right now. But it's on the short list of cards with suspend I do think are worth supporting. It's not in my midrange list either (while I do run suspend there), but it will be one of the first cards I consider when an update forces me to find another green 1 CC card.
I'm working tomorrow. And I'm sick, so it will probably be a rough day.
I'm not sure why anyone would ever need to search for tomorrow, maybe they just can't handle the suspense?
I'm sure this is just a pun but if I were to take your question seriously, it is probably because some characters were trapped in time during Time Spiral, and thus they are searching for tomorrow.
As with most suspends cards, they are worse when drawn late. But this is fine as hard casting is not too bad.
There are a lot more ramp options available that are better than this, especially ones tied to creatures such as Yavimaya Elder or gets multiple lands like Cultivate or Ranger's Path
Tomorrow I will be participating in a cook off (not cooking, but eating).
Heir is solid. Good, but not great. It's a playable aggro beater (especially in decks with Bloodghasts and Scroungers and stuff) and it's also a serviceable discard outlet for reanimation decks.
Bloodghast is probably my favorite vampire in the cube, but good ol' Sengir Vampire is probably my favorite one in MTG.
My playgroup didn't really like Heir much, favoring evasive beaters like Bearer of Silence or Dauthi Horror instead. Once I got Collective Brutality in there, I felt less need for her "1-shot pitch a fatty" ability for the reanimator decks, so she got cut.
By far my favorite vampire is OG Olivia Voldaren, MTG's own Count Dracula. (The new version of her has interesting stats and abilities, but the flavor and picture of the card are just horrid)
I put her in recently, but I haven't seen it on the board.
Mephidross Vampire was the first vampire that really got my attention. Threw together a Tooth and Nail B/G deck with it and Triskelion as the main targets. Silly combo deck, worked fairly well.
By far my favorite vampire is OG Olivia Voldaren, MTG's own Count Dracula. (The new version of her has interesting stats and abilities, but the flavor and picture of the card are just horrid)
Unlike the original one, and her mysterious "third leg"...
I like Heir just fine. Works in a few different strategies and I like flexible cards like that.
Bloodghast is definitely my favorite MTG vampire. When I played Modern, I played a sweet LoamPox list. My favorite turns were cast Smallpox, discard Bloodghast, sac Bloodghast, land drop, 2 Bloodghasts return to the battlefield. That was back when Modern had actual interaction. Oh well. Cube is better.

I like Heir quite a bit. Black two drops are lacking (at least in large cubes), discard outlets are in short supply. Heir does both things well. It is a two drop I am quite happy to draw late. Heir's presence on the board prevents/delays some planeswalker from being cast. I'd easily play a functional reprint.
Heir of Falkenrath's not bad for now, as the black 2-drop spot was short on good options for so long. This beats down quite nicely in the air, and another discard outlet is always welcome in black even if it is only one-shot.
I've been liking Olivia, Mobilized for War quite a bit even if the art isn't the greatest. It provides a nasty clock in aggro decks and gives you something useful to do with excess lands.

Time Spiral isn't optimal in all blue decks, but in the right deck and situation, it shows how fantastic drawing 7 cards for 0 mana is. It also has cool art and depicts an important story moment from the Weatherlight Saga. All in all, the card feels totally at home in cube.
I've drafted a lot of Time Spiral and love the whole block. For someone who started in 95 with 4th edition, it was a great romp through nostalgia while still offering a lot of interesting new stuff. I wish they would make something similar again. I especially liked the mixing and matching of mechanics from different time periods.
By far my favorite vampire is OG Olivia Voldaren, MTG's own Count Dracula. (The new version of her has interesting stats and abilities, but the flavor and picture of the card are just horrid)

...obviously a party trick she uses to impress people!

Time Spiral is a very silly card, and one of the silliest cards from a very silly block.
I was taking a hiatus from magic during the Time Spiral block. I was playing a lot during the Mirrodin/Kamigawa block, and almost everyone in my playing group only played affinity for the entire two blocks. I got bored out of my mind, and quit. Didn't pick the game back up until Alara, and got new people to play with.
Big mana decks with lots of ramp (artifact or green, doesn't matter) that can empty quickly. And in spells matters shells where untapped mana and a fresh 7 can end the game with a mentor/pyro/titi on the battlefield. Also feels good to Spiral into a Mind Twist, if you're running a Dimir deck.
I've never run Time Spiral, and it wasn't even on my radar as I'd assumed it was too hard to break the symmetry outside of something like a Storm combo deck. After some of the recommendations here, it sounds like I may need to give it a shot.
The Time Spiral expansion came out during my long hiatus from Magic, but it looks like it would be an incredible set to draft. The massive mix of old mechanics looks like something they'd never print again because it's anything but new player friendly, but I'm really hoping they try something similar to it again.

I'm not running Heir, albeit ownign a copy or two from retail limited. I'm not supporting reanimator, and Im not sure I need her just for aggro.
You support dredge, though. This card has crossover applications there. I would've loved to have had it in the draft of your cube I just did. And it seems pretty spot-on, power level wise.

I have been in the same boat. Somehow just missed it. I don't think I would include it since I am very happy with my blue spells currently but I am looking to expand my cube but have not really known what I want to add in my blue section and this will fill a slot I have been looking for!
