Arc Lightning is great, but I agree that it doesn't really beg to be run as a two of.
Most cards don't need functional reprints, since only a pretty simple card makes sense for one, and most such cards aren't needed as two-ofs. My best pick is Everflowing Chalice. You can reword it to take the multikicker keyword off, and it's a basic card that's always good. I run two of them as is. I'd also be pretty happy to get another solid Evolving Wilds variant. I agree with Ahadabans that 'almost functional reprints' feel better than actual functional reprints.
For functional reprints.. can I answer Dual Lands? haha. But seriously, I really am not wishing for functional reprints. I'd like more variety in cards , but still have redundancy in effects, to some extent.
This card is one of the few ways for red to get card advantage, so I'm happy to run both copies. Sure, Arc Trail is more efficient for the most common use cases of Arc Lightning, but it's great to also have the option to 1-for-1 an X/3 with it.
Speaking of which, Arc Trail is probably the single cube card I'm most hopeful about getting a straight up functional reprint of that I'd be happy to run.

Feldon is sweet. It can be slow, but it gives red recursion decks another tool which is always important for an archetype that is barely there. Between this, Daretti, and Welder, I think that deck is pretty much there. I could see not running Feldon for a lot of reasons, but he can be pretty busted when you untap and you're bringing back Battlespheres or Wurmcoils or whatever.
I would like actual planeswalker cards for Urza and Yawgmoth. There is probably a way they can curb their in-story power level to have it be believable. They are so iconic at least for older players that it would be a sweet call back in a commander set or something.
Feldon is one of my favorite red cards to come out in a long time. Red's upgraded Mimic Vat on legs, Feldon opens up all kinds of opportunities for graveyard abuse.
Feldon of the Third Path is a really powerful card. I desperately wish it was 2R instead of 1RR. Red has more ways to interact with the yard now, but this card would be absurd if it were more splashable as blue/black can abuse this no end. The fact that the end of turn trigger is sacrifice versus exile brings more utility to this since you get a death trigger for other effects. For me, this card is one of the best NWO printings that really opened up design space that wasn't previously deep enough.
The lore of this game has never really interested me TBH.
The Third Path was a splinter group of individuals who didn't want any part in the Brother's War. Siding with Urza was one path, siding with Mishra was another. They, Feldon included, wanted a third path.
The card is pretty great. Always nice to bring back a token version of something that died, especially with ETB shenanigans, or graveyard shenanigans. Shenanigans.
Xantcha could use more justice than Sleeper Agent, and a few other arts. Jaya Ballard deserves true PW treatment, too.
I absolutely love how Feldon of the Third Path's card tells a whole story. The combination of rules text, art and flavor text is just fantastic. And the card has a pretty neat effect, too, overlapping reanimation and artifact strategies.
I second a true Xantcha card! Ashnod could also use a card.
Feldon has been a lot of fun for us. He is great for the red artifact decks and midrange decks, he can do some solid work in control and helps B/R re-animator become more of a thing. Mostly the decks that don't want him are the agressive builds.
Feldon is such a great card. Flavor is just incredible. It is funny, though, when he tries to revive his wife and accidentally revives a 7/7 Demon instead. Ah well, goes away at end of turn anyway.
I'm ready for Hannah to get a new card. Actually, I hope with the Dominaria set in the spring, they do some of the Weatherlight crew on new cards. I hope they don't reboot the whole thing, but even that might be sort of fun. And given how derivative Wizards is of other nerd property, I think a reboot seems likely.

I'd like to see Jaya Ballard come back... but a sexed up latex wearing dominatrix might not be in line with wizards current inclusiveness model.
I dunno, personally I have always felt that sexed-up latex clad dominatrixes don't have nearly enough of a voice in today's society and need more positive depictions in media. But maybe I'm just being and SJW (Sexual Justice Warrior).
There's so much love for Feldon, perhaps I should give him another try, the last time I did he just didn't see much play.. The biggest knock I have against Feldon is the fact that he's double red, but not particularly aggressive. Most graveyard centric decks in my cube tend to only splash red for things like FTK or Manic Vandal.
I think that a card for Ashnod is long overdue. From the cards with her name and the flavor text on them, we know that she's built some terrifying weaponry, performs gruesome experiments on people that brings them great power at the cost of their humanity, and she can defile her opponents' resources. Oh, and she's also very frugal. If it's true that we're going to be visiting Dominaria soon in an upcoming set, then with any luck we'll finally get the Ashnod creature card we've all been waiting for.
I'm hoping to learn more about the Raven Man when we go back to Dominaria.
Spell Queller is cool, but I'm not in love with it. There's a lot of removal in cube and it kinda sucks to have a number of spells come back at EOT when they wait to bolt or etc. the Queller. It's not impossible to keep it alive, and when you're stopping something that doesn't have a target when the Queller dies then that's sick, but it's inconsistent enough in that regard that I'd rather more consistent options for Azorius.
There are a lot of cool ones, and without thinking too hard I've really enjoyed Selfless Spirit. I like a threat that has serious playability both as a combat 'trick' and as a defensive card vs removal and wraths. Instead of just being a Mistral Charger, it at least has SB applications in decks where you need certain threats to live vs removal heavy decks and that's cool to get out of a card that is mainly a beater.
Spell Queller is a good card, but it competes in a section with several very comparable cards that are arguably better in the same kinds of decks that would want Queller to begin with. It can be hard to find room for it because of that.
