I am actually a pretty big fan of this card. On the surface, it is not all that spectacular, I know some people really like those UG tempo decks and it seems nice. With some slight modifications to your artifact/enchantment removal, is this card over Trygon Predator reasonable? I like that you can also pump it out of burn range or activate multiple times in the late game. As a mid and late game drop, it is cheap enough to use pumps or counter magic which is probably why I will be testing it over Predator after I make some slight alterations to A/E removal in green.

If the activation cost was "free" like Whirler Rogue, it could maybe crack the top 7 Simic cards and make its way into my cube, but even then I'm not sure it would be good enough.
Pretty meh. It's like Beetleform Mage except probably better...but I was never considering Beetleform Mage, and I don't think this guy is worth it either.
The reason I don't like this card is because it doesn't give you any additional value other than combat, which is just damage not an added ability for utility use.
Although I would just say that Trygon Predator is better in powered cubes so if you feel like your artifact removal is enough like you said, go for it.

Whirler Rogue does not pump, and cost 1 more mana. I can think of a number of situations where this is better than Rogue, and fail to see how they are really comparable.

It is almost strictly better than Beetleform Mage outside of Moat, imo. Being able to sink late game mana beyond a single activation is pretty drastic.
For multicolor cards, I want something that could pull a player into that color combo or be something that color combo really wants. This card seems like neither so it's a pass for me.
This is basically an expensive but unblockable Nantuko Shade. Being able to Thassa other guys is kind of nice, but Shade always got killed in response to activations, having no protections means that this will die the same way and eat up your turn in the process. I don't think this cracks my Simic top 10.
This guy is pretty decent, but the only deck that really wants it is UG tempo, and that deck is already stacked with 3cc critters. Probably a pass, but this guy can beat down for quite a bit once you're flooded.

I find UG aggro doesn't want to tap out. It wants to drop efficient threats and leave mana open for tricks. I suppose the UG ramp deck has mana during the main phase, but at that point, do your fatties need evasion? Pass

Both Shardless Agent and Trygon Predator give you an effect other than or after damage. That alone is enough I think.
Although I would just say that Trygon Predator is better in powered cubes so if you feel like your artifact removal is enough like you said, go for it.
