WHAT CARDS GO HERE?
Firstly, artifacts - the ones that weren't included in other groups, that is: artifacts that aren't tied to any particular color.
* To keep compatibility with the previous rankings, mana-producing artifacts are a special case. If the artifact produces two or three different colors of mana, it will be voted in the respective GUILD, SHARD or WEDGE. If it produces only one color (or all five), it will be voted here. The rule is mostly so that the five Mox are voted together here with other mana rocks instead of needlessly taking 1sts place on the color rankings, while Signets are more of more variable power and should be compared to other guild cards. See below for how to vote on the Mox as a whole.
AND WHAT CARDS ARE EXCLUDED?
* Lands. Absolutely no land will be voted on this thread; they will have their own voting thread later.
* As said above, artifacts that are tied to a certain color as a cost or requirement - Vedalken Shackles, Porcelain Legionnaire, Shrine of Burning Rage... they were voted on their color's thread already. And artifacts that produce two or three colors of mana (Signets, Talismans, Obelisks, Banners) are voted as guild/shard/wedge cards. Only the ones that produce just one color (or colorless mana, or mana of "any color") are voted here.

HOW TO VOTE ON SIMILAR CARDS
The following cards are considered to be equal. If you include them in your vote, they must be ranked as a single entry. Identical cycles in general take a single entry here.
For reference, here's the COLORLESS ("artifact") results for the previous three Power Rankings project. I'm including them here to be used as a reference only.

The only reason I voted on them is because I have experience with them now, thanks to the Conspiracy Module, and them not requiring any special house rules to operate. But they can be hard cards to rank without seeing them in action.
Jack-in-the-Mox wouldn't crack my top 20 anyways. Blacker Lotus might, depending on how you errata the card to play it. But since it requires errata to be used, I left it off the list. Same goes with things like Chaos Orb that people make up rules for. Super powerful, but it depends on how the playgroup is willing to use them.

This section definitely got the biggest shake up. SOOOOO many great cards didn't make the list this year.
Symbol Status even almost got a place on the green ranking this year, and City of Ass got the #18 Land spot last year and may show up again.
This makes me sad. I am sure there were more than the two people who voted for it that have played it and know how good that card is but excluded it just because of personal cube preference even though the rules allowed for it to be voted for.
@cuttups: I play with Symbol Status in my Conspiracy Module, but I don't think it's one of green's 20 best cards. I excluded it from the ranking because I don't think it belongs on the list, not because I have a personal disliking for Un- cards.
Before I cast my vote, I want to note that I will not be including any of the Conspiracies or the draft altering Constructs. We do enjoy the draft cards and especially have fun with Worldknit, but I'm not a fan of how cards like Double Stroke affect the game. Also, I don't like including these cards here because, from what I've seen, it seems that several of us have a Conspiracy package that we add in when it's desired instead of having these cards take up artifact slots. If I were using these results as a new cuber looking to see what some staples were that I need to be looking for and including, I don't think Conspiracies fall into that category. It's more of a fun thing to do when you want something different, rather than something that you should definitely be including like Jitte, for instance. The desired effects also differ from group to group.
I thought the rankings were based on P1P1 value; meaning people review this information to see what they would take, not what they would include. Which is why I voted for CON/UN cards in my voting, because if you're drafting and you see them, this information is intended to be used as a way to help new cube drafters prioritize picks.
Like, the 20 best white cards and the 20 most important white cards don't produce the same results. They're 2 different questions.

That's true. This is an exercise on how you should be valuing cards during drafting, not during cube building. However, if you saw a card make a final Top 20 list that you aren't running, wouldn't you at least consider that card? My point is that, if I were a new cuber, even though the point of this exercise is not to say these are best 20 colorless cards, it's still a decent tool to refer to when building your first list. For the most part all twenty cards on all of these results lists are staple cube additions. I think the inclusion of Conspiracies skews that model a bit. Not only are Conspiracies not wanted by every group, but they also aren't always included in the main cube list for the groups that do want them.
It's fine. I'm not saying we should rethink what we voted on and change it somehow. I just wanted to point out why I voted the way I did and left those cards off my top 20.

Yeah, symbol status is absurd. It consistently pumps out power *way* ahead of the curve. The make-up of some land sections makes it seem worse, if you run only a select number of land types, for example, and don't have a different symbol possible for each basic. You want a ton of different forests for heavy-green decks that will always run Symbol Status, and Status is actually slightly worse in power cubes because all the power-ramp is pretty much symbol-less. But I still think it's probably the best green card as it's often to very often back-breaking and game-ending in all styles of green decks.
Ok people, that's enough, can we move the discussion to the correct threads? We have the main thread to discuss rules and what the rankings represent, and the green results thread to discuss Symbol Status's, well, status. Thank you.

How many creatures are you getting on average? How many tokens would you need to generate for it to be a consideration? Are you running all different symbols for your basics? Just curious.

To be fair, not every group wants power either but we are voting on them. There are specific criteria for qualification and ignoring them for personal reasons doesn't help anyone.

Voting for Conspiracies leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I understand they're popular, maybe even more popular than power for Cubes, but still, they're strange and format warping (e.g. I consider Worldknit to be the most draft warping card possible to put into a Cube). Oh well. I also think everyone putting Backup Plan below #1 hasn't played with it enough. It's insanely broken.

The following cards are considered to be equal. If you include them in your vote, they must be ranked as a single entry. Identical cycles in general take a single entry here.
Mox Pearl = Mox Sapphire = Mox Jet = Mox Ruby = Mox Emerald (please write the vote as "ABU Mox", "ABU Mox Jewelry", or a similar wording).
Other cycles should be voted similarly. So if you, for some reason, want to vote on "MRD Mana Myrs" or "MRG Diamonds", do so this way.

This section definitely got the biggest shake up. SOOOOO many great cards didn't make the list this year.
This makes me sad. I am sure there were more than the two people who voted for it that have played it and know how good that card is but excluded it just because of personal cube preference even though the rules allowed for it to be voted for.
