I was surprised to do a thread search and not find one for Storm Crow yet. After extensive play with storm crow in all types of cubes--including powered/unpowered/peasant/pauper/edh/tribal/cmc1/only blue/bird-themed/etc--Storm Crow has emerged as a top-tier card that's tough to match. So often games go t1 land, t2 island + storm crow + opponent scoop that it's almost like a 1-card instant-win combo. Storm Crow not only brings tons of versatility by literally doing everything, but in each one of its modes Storm Crow is the best possible option you could have.
Pros:
-A flier for two mana is hard to come by, never the less one that lives through parts of Arc Trail and Arc Lightning, doesn't care about Chandra's plus one, and literally 100% stonewalls Bitterblossom. (no-debate-so-don't-try.)
-Easily the strongest two drop available regardless of color. Imagine if this card costed U--could you even play it in a powered cube?
-Multiple *amazing* arts to choose from. If you're thinking about running an all-storm-crow cube, you don't need to use the same awesome art over and over, though I wouldn't blame you if you did!
-It's blue.
-Absolutely mind-blowing in both bird-and-storm tribal decks. Imagine Storm Crow with Soulcatchers Aerie, or Norin, Bringer of Clouds. Did I just hear a 'GG'?
Cons:
-You can only run one. I envy you cube designers who are bad boys who play by your own, non-singleton rules.
-Makes other cards look like poopy.
-Everyone will draft blue! Perhaps proxy a stormcrow in each other color?
Good storm crow synergies:
-Ancestral Recall (find your crow)
-Time Walk (more time with your crow)
-Jace, the Mind Sculptor (Crow-walkers are always good with Storm Crow)
-Storm Crow (Storm Crow)
So let me know about how great Storm Crow is in your cube, and tell me how many you're running and why is it 100!!!
I'm only running one, as it's hard to justify multiples of overpowered cards; finding answers is already difficult enough. I think the card has definitely caught on recently, if you look at the price of 7th edition foils. I mean it just humiliates other two drops like Squire and Snapcaster Mage.
I would say the only drawback is it's not a Tinker or Natural Order target, however it's obviously really strong in reanimator since they forgot to put the Eldrazi/Worldspine Wurm shuffle clause on it. Also there is a lot of synergy with Thassa (blue creature, make it unblockable), Opposition (it can tap opposing Clones of Storm Crow) and Delve (if you discard it or it gets answered somehow, you can fuel your delve cards!). Only caveat is that some groups consider this sort of strong effect Game Ruining Bull***** (TM) and don't want to dedicate answers to it. I guess that's fine too but I'd rather play with the best effects and sometimes that means a scoop.
As usual, the MTGS crowd should step down of their high horses and stop the blatant PowerMaximization (TM) in their Cubes. I've long replaced Storm Crow with the much better choice of Seacoast Drake. Doing that helped create a much more fun and challenging environment instead of having a card that's always a P1P1 no matter of what other cards are in the pack (even considering other Power cards like Chimney Imp or the much controversial Hovermyr). I've been running double Seacoast Drake for a while and I'm even considering running a third; also, the Drake is a "Squadron" pick in my Cube - meaning you get a copy of Battle Squadron, Faerie Squadron and Thopter Squadron during deck construction if you pick the Drake.
I also draft lands separately in my Cube. Now, if I was into PowerMaximization (TM) I would just add 4 copies of Soulcatchers' Aerie to the LandDraft (TM) but since I'm all about Fun Maximization (TM) I just decided to "seed" 2 copies of Seaside Haven in each pack. (I didn't have enough copies of the Haven so I just sharpied some Tundras I had lying around.) It really did wonders to the storm archetype.
But I would never - NEVER! - run Storm Crow in my Cube. I would then have to run powerful removal like Rite of the Serpent and Ember Shot just to deal with it and I don't want to run such efficient removal like that.
I recently added this to our cube and I'll say this...instant staple. This is the card that aggro, midrange and control all want. In two nights drafting it, the first deck went 2-1, 3-0, 3-1 (because it started game one sideboarded). The second draft it was p1p1'd by yours truly who piloted it to an undefeated evening in a positively brutal storm crow/apocalypse chime burn deck.
I don't see this car ever coming out of our powered 166 card 2-person cube.
I've recently considered expanding my singleton rule. If there are multiple arts/editions available for a card, they're totally different cards. Basically, if it matters to Symbol Status, it's not the same card, right? This means I get to run nine Storm Crows.
EDIT: Portal and Portal Demogame have the same symbol, and the Alliances versions have different arts but the same symbol, so apparently I can only run 7.
I don't think Storm Crow needs an SCD; SCD threads are meant to discuss cards, but what is there to discuss when it comes to Storm Crow? Much like Swords to Plowshares and other obvious inclusions for Cube, I see only one place where bringing them up in a discussion does any good: in the New Card Discussion section, where sentences typically start with "It sure is no Swords to Plowshares/Storm Crow/Lightning Bolt, but I can see testing it at CUBESIZE."
I honestly have no idea how good this card is, due to the fact that no opponent has ever let it resolve without scooping immediately. The only other card that really gets that is Emrakul, and she costs 15, wizards seems to have made a mistake with this one.
I had to ban this card from my cube, not only was it format warping, I got tired of cringing every time someone shuffled their deck knowing that my judge foil Storm Crow might get creased.
I already tried to warn Ravnic months ago about this: The only way to have a balanced Storm Crow cube is to have a box of 400 Storm Crows.

Due to the favorable response I decided to playest it.
One game I was able to play an entwined Tooth and Nail with Hammer of Purphoros in play. I searched for Storm Crow and another card (I think it was Emrakul). My opponent scooped.
Next game I had a Crucible of worlds in play. I played Strip mine, tapped it and cast storm Crow. My opponent scooped again.
I cannot believe I have overlooked this card. Thanks for suggesting it!!!
I am including this and replacing Ancestrall Recall.
Similar results to JinxedIdol's ...I had a Kiki-Jiki in play, and I played Fact or Fiction revealing a Storm Crow and like a Pestermite or something and my opponent scooped on the spot.
Thought about running this in my cube, but the absurd price has taken me away from it. Nobody would take my BGS 10 alpha black lotus in trade for it, so I don't know what to do!
I think that bird tribal is absolutely feasible at 360 if you include enough decent enablers. Storm Crow with Aven Warhawk is a beating. And thanks for pointing out the combo possibilities with Seaside Haven. Imagine the things you could do with that card and Squadron Hawk or Flurry of Wings

Lol insane Magic! Banefire completly fooled me! But this was all about the crow!
So just curious I plan on making a gimmick 360 cube where the only mono blue card is storm crow but there are 120 copies of storm crow. I plan on keeping the fliers who aren't storm crow and can beat it in combat very low but I need to know what other cards interact favorably with multiples of storm crow. Things like Thrumming stone and the like.

What's the gimmick? Running 120 of the best possible card? Seems pretty unbalanced when a 1/3rd of your cube is the same, amazing card.
This card has only gotten better with time. How are we all still sleeping on this one?
Think about it. Someone plays Liliana, the Last Hope and you've got this.
