Looks weak. But, it is two mana, so it's worth talking about. Instant speed hunt the weak that can turn into a solid 2-for-1 in some situations can be really strong in cube. Thoughts?
I actually really like this card. The first mode is definitely the most limited, but all of the others are solid. It kills every 0-ring variant and Gods, is a decent combat trick, and can be a solid removal spell. You have to have a body on the field to make it work, so it's definitely not as flexible as Kolaghan's Command, but I think it could be 450 material. I'll probably test it out over Armada Wurm.
Even with four possible modes, I think this is just too narrow for cube. The most common mode is obviously going to be +1/+1 counter/fight (as in, this would probably be 95% of the time if you included it in your cube), as the super limited disenchant and burn spell counter modes are just soooo narrow, and I don't think +1/+1 counter & fight is remotely close for a guild card. I mean, what are you cutting from GW, an absurdly stacked guild, for this card?
It's a pass from me. I think the rakdos one is the only one that's gonna make it.
The basement of an instant speed Hunt the Weak is pretty reasonable, imo. Fight effects get a lot better at instant speed.
It's awful against many creaturless control decks that don't run O-Rings, but I suspect you'll be able to find a target for at least one of the two other modes most of the time. As long as you can trade for at least a card, I suspect you'll be pretty happy. I'll consider this at 540 if GW moves back towards a weenie/hatebears archetype.
This is a decent card and I think at higher than 540 I could see myself including this. At the moment I don't see this being better than:

Dryad Militant
Qasali Pridemage
This is probably better than Knight of the Reliquary, Armada Wurm and some of the other GW options. I could see playing it over Mirari's Wake if you don't support the ramp archetype, but most of the time I see it sitting on the sidelines.
2 mana cards that have a non rare chance of creating a 2 for 1 is sweet.
It's also a reasonable instant speed combat trick, something that cube is lacking.
Card is good, but it's unfortunately dead against a couple decks , and a situational 1 for 1 against a couple others, makes this not good enough to crack Tight Selesnya guild sections IMO.
What makes it a lot better than an instant speed hunt the weak is you can put the counter on a different creature than you fought, can create a 2 for 1 if multiple creatures in play , or get in some additional damage.
I wouldn't fault anyone for testing in the #5+ Selesnya slot
I don't know if this is better than selesnya charm. The counter is nice but in my cube g/w decks usually have bigger guys on the board and you just need to get past blockers (so the +2/+2 and trample is probably better) If the first mode was something else. At least the charm can just make a dude. And the reprisal like effect is better than the enchantment edict (IMHO).
I do like it though, I kind of wish the may a 3 CMC version. That seems to be the sweat spot for powerfeul effects but cheap enough for cube.
Upon further review, I may try this over Ajani, Mentor of Heroes, but I think I should probably slot in Dryad Militant instead if I'm going to remove GW Ajani from the cube.
Selesnya is one of the deepest color pairs, if not the deepest. This is an excellent spell and will see tons of play in Standard and Modern, but it's not what green-white cube decks want.
This card is sweet, and the biggest strike against it is the depth of GW. I still think it is a pretty neat card, and will likely try it at some point.

Selesnya charm is way better. It exiles creatures which is much better than fighting, can force through damage as a combat trick and is a creature in a pinch. Green and white have enough enchantment kill and fog is bad. Easy pass for me.

I have 7 slots for G/W and Selesnya Charm is currently one of them. I think I will switch the charm for this, but I'm not 100% sure yet.
I like this card. Using the last 2 modes together seems like a serious beating. However, Selesnya has crazy good cards. I'm not sure what this displaces. Maybe Ajani, Mentor of Heroes?
I don't know what everyone seems to see in this card when Selesnya is so totally stacked. I'd probably need to be running 10 or 12 GW cards before I got to this one.
