I bolded the parts of the card that I think are important. This seems like it could be pretty good, but I'm not sure this plays nicely with most of the strategies people support in red. Thoughts?

Seem like a bad Braingeyser to me? Ok, in an unusual colour, but still Geyser has not been cube material for years.

I think this card is pretty weak. I don't even know if a red Stroke of Genius or Braingeyser would be good, and this seems to be a lot worse than that.

I like the fact that they are experimenting with red card "draw", but I don't think this quite makes it. Just in the last year we've gotten:

Humble Defector
Outpost Siege
Tormenting Voice
Act on Impulse
Prophetic Flamespeaker
and Chandra, Pyromaster not long before that

Eventually, they will get it right.

I really want a powerful version of this effect. Even at XR I would have to pass, and that's sad to me.

Why would you want to commune with lava? It's not sentient and getting close to it is a baaaaad idea.

But geyser was never in red. I wouldn't play Jackal Pup in white or black but we go with what we have. For me non-creature based red draw options look like this

Wheel of Fortune
Faithless Looting
Tormenting Voice
Commune with Lava

So it is a miss for me and maybe there isn't a cube large enough to want this. Maybe it would have to be a Storm focused cube for that, and even then maybe not. I just don't think it is worth completely disregarding. I wonder if it also did X damage to target player, or there was some other twist.

End of your next turn? So if I cast this at the start of my turn I get this turn, my opponents turn, and then until the end of my next turn?

Yes, if you cast this during your turn, you'll get your current turn, your opponent's turn, and your next turn to use them.

Which is good; you may actually be able to play some of the cards you reveal that way.

This card is mega garbage
