I'm kind of surprised at how excited everyone is for this card. 1W for a 2/2 lifelink is not even close to cubeable, so we have to evaluate this card based on it's other abilities. Giving your instants and sorceries lifelink is pretty cool, but that means that this is only relevant if you are a WR deck (outside of giving slight value to your Psionic Blast). Most WR decks that get built in our cube are aggressive decks, which value the lifelink a lot less than other types of decks. It does combo very well with Wildfire/Earthquake effects, but in my experience those decks are usually URx or GRx, not WRx.
The last ability seems way too slow to be worth anything in the cube environment. There are already a few ways to get a repeatable Counterspell, and they are all easier to protect than a 2/2. I do like the idea of an infinite Time Walk, but everything about this card seems more like Magical Christmasland than actual good cube stuff.
The abilities are both so unique that they will have to be tested, but I don't have high hopes for this card even in my unpowered 720.
I agree 100%. It is bizarre to me that everyone is claiming the base stats are good because they are terrible in cube. I don't think the other abilities add very much at all. Its not better than Knight of Meadowgrain and it may be objectively better than Lone Missionary but Missionary fills its role better than this card would.
This is better than Knight in almost every way. Its easier to cast, its a human which matters in my cube, and is good on turn 2 and turn 10.

Its better than Meadowgrain in the abstract. In the decks that would use Meadowgrain, the new card isn't better than KoM (equipment). This is largely due to the fact 2/2 lifelink is bad and your analysis of "good on turn 2" is also quite bad.
Biggest problem with all other lifelink bears is they are so bad in some matchups.
This card dodges that problem with its third ability making it OK instead of poor.
I was looking for cheap cards that interact in agro mirrors and this one fits the bill perfectly.
Replacing seeker of the way (a card I wasn't super excited about)

No IMO you overrate the first strike for the more difficult mana cost. The ceiling for this card is far higher than Knight.
I'm not sure this is going to be that great. It definitely deserves testing because the potential to be absurd is there. I think it's interesting mainly because it's great for control and also for aggro to run in the mirror match. Not too many cards like that. Shame it doesn't work as well with black as it does with red because black needs more lifegain (and I know this has lifelink, but the second ability isn't going to trigger often if you are in Orzhov).
I'm not sure how to evaluate this guy (or gal as the case may be). If I did not have a wedge section, it would most certainly be going in as a white card. Since I have a wedge section, is this card better than Lightning Angel? If I decide to throw these off color hybrid activated abilities into their mono color sections (which is quite unlikely), it would probably be Knight of Meadowgrain that got the axe for this. I'm not sure I want to lose an aggro creature, though. Definitely a sweet card, though.

I really do not think cards like this are that much worse than Knight in an aggro deck. Only when equipped is Knight better, considering there are games where WW on turn 2 doesnt happen. Frankly Knight is a fringe card thats days in most cubes are numbered. At least thats my opinion, im sure some dont agree with, which is fine.
A 2/2 lifelinker is plenty good on turn 2. People play bears with no combat ability if they give late game value, and lifelink is the best combat ability in Cube IMO.
I do see your point. And Knight of Meadowgrain is on my watch list at 550, so it makes sense to cut it. I've been loving that card since like 2007, though. It's hard to part with an old friend.

I hear ya man, ive had a cube for 5 years and some cuts are hard. Ive cut Knight before but have had him in for a while now. I may or may not cut it for this. Have to see the whole set first.

There are not a lot of good 2 drops that are fine on turn 2 or 10. This card is in rare territory there. Ive run and like Heir of the Wilds for this reason.
I may cut Knight of Meadowgtain or Lone Missionary for this.
A card that can race other aggro with lifelink, reach with buyback on bolts or searing spears. Plus good in a blue control or tempo (though I am a bit iffy on this - needs testing)
Achievement points for somepne who eathquakes with this in play.
Only when equipped is Knight better, considering there are games where WW on turn 2 doesnt happen.
Uh, you sure? Knight seems better against every 2/1, 2/2, 3/1, 3/2, 4/2, and every pair of tokens in the cube. Have you checked to see how many of those are in your cube these days?
Fwiw the card Depends a lot on if ur cube supports Agro well. If Agro mirrors are rare and typically 1/8 decks are Agro, card becomes a lot worse.
In my cube is estimate an avg of 2-3 Agro decks per draft, like 2.3 if I had to guess
Plus racing Agro vs midrange or midrange vs midrange is a thing too
Boros seems like a fine place. But I want to test how relevant the 2UU buyback activation is first. It may be quite strong for more controlling/slower midrange decks for Azorius, and if it winds up being stolen by both of those guilds with regularity ...Jeskai, White or even "Miscellaneous" may be a better classification for her.

This card, while cool, does neither of things.
I would agree, I would cut a WW creature, especially since this card will shine most in a 2/3 color deck.

Insane vs agro and has utility in other matchups.

Anybody want to sell me on Rector being a bad cut?
Its probably only a bad cut if you have a package built around him.

If anything, she stops alot of aggro decks. Trying to race a lifelinker with potential Helix swings are not recommended.
