Very nice creature for B Aggro, Pox, and Stax archetypes. I'll be replacing Carrion Feeder with this guy.
Edit: Although, on second thought maybe the Warrior is a reason to *keep* Carrion Feeder in. Hm. Maybe the Lacerator shall go instead.
If I'm reading this correctly, you can declare your attackers and then bring this back to play before you pass priority and go to the declare blockers phase. Seems very relevant if you run Goblin Bombardment.
Sarco is pretty insane, as wtwlf described. It's got no drawback at the start of the game and is a 2/2. It's a zombie. It gives you an extra thing to sac to some effects. It has an occasionally-relevant persistent drawback, but you can shut it off with any other zombie.
The first 2-power 1-drop I'd look at cutting would probably be Lacerator. It's a Carnophage with an irrelevant type instead of Zombie, and its drawback can be harder to shut off sometimes (if 'Phage gets Pacified somehow or is just massively outclassed on the board, you can always just tap him each upkeep, while Lacerator will continue to ping you until and unless you can bring your opponent under 10).
That said, I still don't know if we have the density of 2-power 1 drops such that I'd really want to cut one except maybe at 360.

Reassembling Skeleton has always been a fairly embarrassing card at 450, only present to support a couple of specific archetypes, but pretty weak in a vacuum.
I think at 450 I cut Reassembling Skeleton for this.
That was my initial thought too. This card is bonkers. I need to check my human count when cubetutor is back online, but are we getting close to running xathrid necromancer?
I think at 450 I cut Reassembling Skeleton for this.
That is the card that I was immediately thinking of as a cut, too. The new guy is a bit worse in Pox/Stax decks since his recursion comes with a restriction, but unlike the Skeleton, he is a welcome addition to aggro decks.
The card is a slum dunk, maybe easier to recur than gravecrawler. How many 2 power 1 drops would you say is the magic number to run if you want to support black aggro at 360 and 450?
It all depends on the type of drafts you do. If you're doing a lot of 90 card Winston, you're going to need a ridiculously large amount of one drops to support the deck coming together. If you do Glimpse drafts, the number will be significantly less (another advantage of that format, imo). Grids are somewhere in the middle.
I actually might cut Vampire Lacerator for this guy, since we're already at the point in my cube where we don't need additional black one drops. I may cut a two or three cmc card for him though too. I haven't explored my cuts yet.
I think 6 to 8 is a fine number for 360 card cubes. Most will probably run 7 or 8. I run 7 right now.
I think at 450 I cut Reassembling Skeleton for this.
I would try to find another cut, honestly. I think having both of these guys will enable the decks that want that effect more. I would run this guy irregardless of Reassembling Skeleton in any cube, but if you're already running Reassembling Skeleton and are having success with him, and enjoy him, this makes the Skeleton stronger instead of weaker since you can play both in the same decks that abuse him.

I think 360 is probably around 7. I'll be running this over Reassembling and looking for a Sarcomancy to replace Lacerator.

Rest in RIP My Signature, I guess. 2015-2016, we hardly knew ye.
Total side note but I like how people are discussing running this over itself.
Well, it has to be said that Kolaghan is clearly better than Kolaghan. Considering what BR decks usually want and how stiff the competition in this guild is, there is no way that I would run Kolaghan over Kolaghan! Kolaghan might make it in as the sixth guild card or so. Kolaghan on the other hand ranks several places below that.
It was so funny to me when they described this as a downgrade to the original Zurgo during the Pax East panel. I was thinking if this is a downgrade, they should really "downgrade" all legendary creatures. Haha.
My deck designing is quite concise at this point:
1. Come up with deck idea
2. Realize this idea is somehow fundamentally similar to another deck I have or that is commonly played in my group
3. Decide I don't want to disassemble one of my existing decks
4. Give up and do nothing
I don't see the point of this new shroud mechanic. It's strictly worse than Hexproof. Threshold is pretty bad too, Delirium is a much better mechanic and probably easier to activate.
Otherwise this card is a pretty neat guy. Dodges removal and grows into a Primal Huntbeast. 3/5
I cut black aggro in my cube because no one ever (seriously ... ever) drafted it. But this guy is a great utility creature that I'll probably find room for. I just dislike that you have had to attack to use the ability which is sort-of contrary from some decks play styles.

This guy has it right. It depends on the number of cards used in the average draft. For my 375, given the kinds of drafts we do, I need 7 per color to get the job done. I spent the morning re-crunching all my numbers and found I was short in a couple places (and have made a few small changes to remedy the problem). I still need a couple more amazing green aggro dudes, but my other colors are currently set right where they need to be.
First stone cold lock for me.One of the top 3 black 1 drops easily. I always hated not having room for the skeleton, and not having a second gravecrawler. Now I'm set.
Card is awesome! Great 360 staple! Idk about cutting another black 1 drop for it but it should definitely make the cut someway, whether it be dropping one or not.
I think most 360s will play 7 or 8 black one drops. I see a lot of Vampire Lacerator cuts coming (whoo!), but I think I would probably find another cut for him in the 2 or 3 cmc slot, just to see black aggro get drafted more.
I really love black aggro, and since we're moving to 540, we can definitely use more one drops.
The last three years we got Dryad Militant, Wolbitten Captive and Experiment One; Wizards has his policy regarding green aggro dudes, but we'll see...
I would love to see green aggro more heavily supported. IMO, the cards are subpar and there's just not enough of them to make it work well. That's okay, because green does mid-range and ramp better than anyone else, and it's also one of the best colors for storm (if not the 2nd best, if you like to support that), so it's got a lot of other things going for it..
Edit: Although, on second thought maybe the Warrior is a reason to *keep* Carrion Feeder in. Hm. Maybe the Lacerator shall go instead.

Sadly, I think you'll be waiting a looooong time for those, since Wizards doesn't seem to really support green aggro anymore.
