Added Siege Rhino for testing purposes and ran it as the second Abzan card. It really impressed me. It will definitely take the slot of Abzan instead of Warden of the First Tree. Warden will have to find his place in the green section. No regrets.

This is exactly what I did. It's "cheating" a little and certainly not "optimal", but I think it's a very small sacrifice to include the Rhino in my cube.

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
This card just seems very difficult to cast on curve in Cube. I think people should probably view it as more of a 5-drop, and when I look at it that way, I don't like it.
If you can't play it on curve, you didn't value your fixing highly enough. Plus, it's part green, so there should be more fixing available than in other colors.
And I don't get the argument "it's too difficult to cast turn four, so I view it as a 5-drop"... It's uncastable, but then you draw a single card and that gives you the mana to cast it?
With the triland cycle reaching completion in New Capenna, running 3 color cards is starting to look much more sustainable, and Siege Rhino is one of the best rated 3 color cards.
However a lot has changed since Khans in terms of four drops, which now give the Rhino a run for its money more than they did in 2014.
So do we bring back the Rhino back, or does it simply not keep up nowadays?
If I was playing a card for each shard / wedge, I'd imagine Siege Rhino would be my Abzan card. However on its own I don't think it's worth a slot for me since it's nowhere near as bomby as many mono colored cards it shares a color with, nor does it a great enabler / payoff for anything. I play very few tri-colored cards not because of the lack of fixing (there's plenty of fixing), but because the bar is very high.
I also like Warden better and slot it in as Abzan. Cards that are best when in all three colors but that don't require access to all three colors tend to play better than full multicolor cards, and I'm hoping that there will be some cards like this in the upcoming set to slot into the shards (I don't count Noble Hierarch and Ignoble Hierarch as shard cards from a cube management perspective).

I always wanted Rhino to be better than it was, but it just doesn't do enough to justify the casting cost. Warden is better, and I don't know if it's my group or what, but people never wanted to take the risk with midrange 3-color cards.
Lower on siege rhino than I used to be, but it's still a good card.
Nightmare against agro, blink interactions and serviceable against every other archetype.
I'm currently supporting 5c Niv-mizzet and am focusing my multi-color slots on 2 color cards.
I make a few exceptions for the busted 3+c cards (Breya, Leovold, Omnath), but seige rhino doesn't quite meet that bar for me.
If the fixing in the cube is excellent, I like it > than warden for abzan's #1.
I second Lucid - I think if fixing isn't a problem, I would also opt for Rhino.
I been moving towards 1 CMC dorks, 2 CMC ramp that refund the turn it comes in over 2 CMC generate any color, which is hurting my green decks ability to easily splash for a 3rd or 4th color.
However, if there are 2 more Rift Sower/ Birds/ Utopia Sprawl/ Ignoble Hiearch variants printed in the next few sets, I could definitely see Rhino making the cut.

I'm actively maintaining a comprehensive article to help explain to new cube players how some complex vintage level cards work in a cube environment. Vintage Cube Cards Explained
I understand why folks prefer Warden, but Siege Rhino, IMO, is a much more "exciting" card. Warden is great as it goes into several different GX midrange and aggro decks, but I like Rhino's ability to draw a drafter into Abzan specifically, even as a splash. Plus Rhino has a lot of nostalgia history from his days as the top card on tournament tables. My players seem to value that quite a bit, so Rhino gets the nod in my Abzan slot.
Rhino didn’t work out for us because the power level is not high enough to justify the cost. Hypothetically I think it would be solid as a mono black card costing 2BB, but it wouldn’t even be that great as mono green.

I am also running Rhino as a wedge/tricolor card and Warden as a green card (just like Wild Nacatl). No regrets on my part, either.
