I'm on my phone so can't link to it. It's in the Rumour mill. And it's amazing. Same cost, put a 2/2 zombie into play when you attack the enchanted player.
These curses are starting to look really interesting.
Curse of Shallow Graves 2B
Enchantment - Aura Curse (U)
Enchant player
Whenever a player attacks enchanted player with one or more creatures, that attacking player may put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield tapped.
What puzzles me is that these cards seem to be better in duel decks than in multiplayer EDH battles. In multiplayer, if the enchanted player dies (and after all, they do encourage you to attack him) the card is no longer useful. In duel, when the enchanted player dies you've won the game.

Yea, I'm a pretty huge fan of this one as it's gonna get out of hand and hard to deal with very quickly. Being splashable for X/B aggressive strategies makes it very appealing.
Due to the wording, they encourage other players to attack the cursed player too (and therefore they're not attacking you). Politics innit.
Politics indeed, but it also means that you are spending a card to allow your opponents to gain resources. When the enchanted player is dead, who are those zombies going to attack?
I'm pleased to have another token producer for black Braids/Pox decks.

In cube land... I like this. This is good in aggro/midrange, but I think it has its uses even in more controlling decks - think Faerie Conclave or Blinkmoth Nexus.
More playable zombies for Gravecrawler. I like it. And wtwlf said it well. Once you get the first token, the card can sustain itself with no further investment.
Comboes very well with bitterblossom and sac outlets. three mana for a 2/2 every turn is actually pretty good. comparable to xenagos, if you only make hastey tokens.
I originally read it as saying whenever a creature attacks enchanted player, its controller gets a 2/2. I damn near had to go change my pants. Then I read it again and though not as good, its still pretty good. Even if you can only get one token a turn, that's still pretty legit.
Zombieblossom seems pretty legit. I mean, once you make the first token, it can replace itself at the very worst... This card seems good to me.
this is valid, but once your opponent sweeps, your "zombieblossom" is sitting around waiting for you to draw another creature. in that sense i see it more as a "win more" for aggro cards to supplement their attacks, as opposed to creating broken value like bitterblossom.
Interesting. I can see someone picking this and either Mutavault or Mishra's Factory as a hedge against sweepers; it also makes tokens with a relevant creature type and a decent body. Test-worthy, to be sure.
It's more like a Staggershock that makes a 2/2 instead and which continues to rebound every turn instead of just once as long as you attack, which shouldn't be difficult when you're mkaing a 2/2 every turn. As for sweepers, it gets your board back together again after one just as soon as you get a creature back in the red zone.
Am I crazy, or is aggro getting some excellent support with this new set? That's great, because control, at least in my cube, is very popular, so a little aggro help (and a lot from Theros) goes a long way.
This was a win from the moment I saw it. Another card to that makes a Zombie lord very tempting.
I love this in a control shell with some piddly flyers like baleful strix. I was looking for more aggro centric black 3 drops and I think this fits the bill, while not being too narrow.
This, lingering souls, and Sorin, and we gave a deck right there.
And no it is not bitterblossom, but can you imagine them together?

Yea, I disliked that they used different wording for the cycle, they should all only trigger once per attack IMO.

This card seems really good though =)
The green and white ones would be pretty horrible though
I was disappointed that the green one wasn't the baseline trigger. I might actually run the red one if it let you loot once per creature, you'd chew through your deck super fast and find all the burn you need. The blue one seemed like this weird Serra's Blessing/Sword of Feast and Famine/Master of Diversion insane hybrid thing, which I'll admit I thought was rather broken, but Identity Nemesis proves they don't care about balance with these cards. At least the hypothetical blue curse would still need lots of dudes to be insane.
I'm including it primarily for support in that deck. The recursive creatures run alongside it help to mitigate the "blank board problem" this card can suffer from post-wrath. But even against sweepers, you're pretty likely to get 2 activations from the card first, which gives you 4 power and 2 bodies for 2B. Then if they wrath everything away, it still helps you to rebuild your board faster once you cast another threat.
More importantly, because it'll be played in aggressive decks, the weakness to sweepers (against control) isn't as important as the ability to attack unfavorably to push damage through (against midrange) will be. Aggro struggles with its creatures being outclassed by the midrange beaters, so it can stall out. This curse will allow you to "sacrifice" an attacker to push damage through with your other critters, and then it'll replace the guy you lost for free. Could be really important to squeeze out wins in your deck's bad matchup.

You know, it's kinda like Anthem in that way isn't it. Great with creatures, doesn't die to wrath but loses it's effectiveness until you have creatures again, sweet with manlands...

Yeah... this guy would be awesome with Braids/Pox/Stax. Good synergy with Gravecrawler, Bitterblossom and Graveborn. Definitely on my radar.
