I really like Soul-Scar Mage, 1/2 Prowess is a pretty decent baseline and it's a high pick for counterburn and spells matter. The ability extends the reach of burn spells to shrink big dudes for nice combat two-for-ones. Something more interesting than many red one drops.
I'm not a big fan of Sarkhan or TtB unless you're really deep on Wildfire or cheat.dec respectively.
I don't know that I would lose Char. Firestorm is a card that I've tried running several times and have never been a fan of. It just can't find a home for us. How do you feel about Fire Imp? I'm no longer running it and I'm at a larger size than you. I realize its utility, but I often found it stranded in hand with either no targets or no useful targets. Playing a 2R 2/1 and pinging a 3/3 for two damage feels real bad. Compared to the double effect we get from FTK, it always just felt so underwhelming. These would probably be my two cuts if you want to make room for Sarkhan and Through the Breach.
Thanks calibretto, Goodking, and Prime. Fire Imp is such a pet card for me. I love the little guy. However, much like another pet card, Soltari Trooper, Imp is starting to stick out as below par the cube. I don't think I'm ready to cut him for breach. I think Firestorm can go, just because we've gotten some other really good discard outlets recently. Wildfire is one of my fave decks, and RW(U) Balance control gets drafted pretty frequently. Sarkhan is good in those decks. I'm comfortable switching Firestorm for Sarkhan. Need to think more on Through the Breach.
Which of these would you run in a 360 unpowered? I've ran Pact since my cube's inception, but it hasn't impressed me. It hasn't even been part of any cool stories, like a non-blue deck sealing a win with a combo or hasted fatty. Forbid always seemed a bit overrated to me since you need a lot of card advantage before it can become great. A 3 mana Counterspell floor isn't too terrible I guess, but how does it compare to other 3-mana counterspells, like Disallow, Dissolve, Exclude or Supreme Will? Forbid seems like one of those cards I have to see in action before I can really appreciate it. Miscalculation is far less interesting so there isn't much to say, but it seems reliable.
Miscalculation is pretty good. Its splashable and a decent early counterspell. Can replace itself later when its a dead card.
I personally dislike Pact of Negation. But seen it save butt! If you want a free counterspell, I suggest Force of Will.
Thanks for your feedback. I am running Force of Will (and Daze). You think Miscalculation is 360 unpowered material? I don't run Squee, but I am running Land Tax (after I buy or trade for it). I have a decent amount of draw effects in my cube overall.
Cryptologist over Waterfront Bouncer for sure. It's something to do on turn one, both cards cost the same to get 1 loot effect, Cryptologist is better from there.
Cryptologist for sure, if only because it's a wide-open spot in cube.
I like Miscalculation over Forbid and way over Pact.

My cube aims to showcase the most powerful spells that were once Standard legal from the Lorwyn block forward. Both the individual cards and the archetypes are heavily influenced by the decks and cards that saw competitive play during their lifetime in Standard (and to a lesser extent Modern). In card selection, preference goes to cards that made a greater impact on any constructed format. An average FNMer should feel nostalgic while playing this cube.

Per feedback from rantipole on my cube list thread, please rate each of these guilds in the event that I add a 5th land cycle (doing one more draft first to see again for myself). Sorry for the giant block of text, but giving each card its own line felt like way too many lines:
I'm not a big fan of Sarkhan or TtB unless you're really deep on Wildfire or cheat.dec respectively.
On spoiled card wishlisting and 'should-have-had'-isms:

If you are running Land Tax or Squee, Goblin Nabob, you can become a believer of Forbid rather quickly. Excellent in Draw-Go with Jace Beleren, Phyrexian Arena, and even Meloku the Clouded Mirror and a good reanimator enabler! The fact that its a hard counter, and reusable, pretty darn good!

Edit: I'm trying to find the card that will best support control, reanimate, and artifact decks. I'm leaning on the Cryptologist.

Forbid ≥ Miscalculation >>> Pact (I would play the first two at 360.)

The steps down in power level are pretty big between them, imo

I think Ophiomancer and Flesh Carver are the best black 3-drops, and by a large margin. Drana, Nighthawk and Strike Leader round out the top 5, IMO.

I'd cut Helix and Nehiri. I think Figure, Ajani, and Charm are the clear top 3 Boros cards and then the drop off is steep.
