I like the Garruks more at first glance, but I've been hearing good things about Nissa. Also, how many of these would you yourself run if you have a 360?
In mono green, Nissa would jump to second. I drafted a mono green deck with her not too long ago full of juicy targets (Ugin, Karn, Battlesphere, Hornet Queen) and Nissa would just catapult me up into them. She loses some value when you go into more colors, but in mono green she is a force to be reckoned with.
I'd second the vote for Garruk over Vraska. Though I'd play Deathrite Shaman over either of the planeswalkers.
This.
With a gun to my head, I'd run Garruk, but DRS beats the pants off both of them, hands down. I'd trade Garruk for one in a heartbeat.
that's really interesting to me! i've always had the impression that DRS wasn't a good fit with cube due to inconsistent fetchlands, but if so many people are in support I'll throw him in and give him a chance. would DRS > garruk, apex/vraska still hold true in my 380 powered cube?
G Wildspeaker >= G Relentless > N Worldwaker > G Primal Hunter >= N Vastwood Seer > Freyalise >>> G Caller of Beasts >>> .... >>> N Revane

Nissa Worldwaker and Garruk, primal hunter are about equal to me, but I don't think I would cube with both just due to how similar their roles are, that's why they take 3 and 5.
I guess in relation to this I'd ask to rank the red planeswalkers, because I know at least in inclusions Red seems to be the most varied section
1 Koth of the Hammer
2 Sarkhan, Dragonspeaker
3 Chandra Nalaar
4 Daretti, Scrap Savant
5 Chandra, Pyromaster
6 Chandra, the Firebrand
7 Chandra Ablaze
8 Tibalt, the fiend-blooded
I'm currently running the first 3 in my 360. I like Nalaar a lot because she's a great and one of the few ways for red to deal with big creature. That said, I might cut her soon, due to influx of better cards. I owned and tested the top 7 planeswalker, and I would not run Ablaze and Tibalt in a cube of any size.
Master of the Wild Hunt >>> Whisperwood Elemental. The 1 mana matters.
Still would take him over this new Nissa anyday. Requiring seven lands to be anything more then a legendary borderland ranger is awful. Then you have a good card advantage ability, but extremely late in the coming and a token producing ability which makes an underwhelming legendary token. Nissa is so bad I'm wondering if they're going to be printing more support cards to make her actually viable in Zendikar block. Perhaps some kind of elemental tech.
Edit: Nevermind....worse than Borderland Ranger (before flipping) because you can only get a Forest with this....oy vei.
Agree 100%. I'm gonna have to read some pretty surprising feedback from those that are testing her out before I take the leap. There are so many small changes to this card that could have moved it from not playable in my opinion to testable and even more changes that could have put it into staple territory. As is, I'd probably run it over six mana green Garruk and I'd definitely run it over her original version, but I'd run the rest of the green walkers over her easily.
Daretti has been surprisingly good since including him. He does mostly see play in the artifact heavy decks, but he's been decent in other decks too just based on his loot ability.

I would also say that Dismiss is better than the new Psychic Rebuttal. Its use is quite limited.

Wildspeaker and Relentless, maybe Worldwaker.
I'd agree with this ranking, except I've grown pretty fond of Freyalise. In a vacuum with no new Nissa experience, I'd rank Freyalise over her.

For me personally
2 Koth of the Hammer
3 Sarkhan, Dragonspeaker
4 Chandra, Pyromaster
5 Chandra Nalaar
6 Chandra, the Firebrand
7 Chandra Ablaze
8 Tibalt, the fiend-blooded
I'm running the first three and Daretti is the best card in Red's Artifact package.
thats my cube
In a 450 Powered cube. I think that both of those cards serves a similar rule but I'm having a hard time choosing between them.
What do you think?
2 Sarkhan, Dragonspeaker
3 Chandra Nalaar

5 Chandra, Pyromaster

1 Elspeth, Knight-Errant
2 Gideon Jura
3 Kytheon, Hero of Akros
4 Ajani Goldmane
5 Elspeth, Sun's Champion
6 Elspeth Tirel
7 Ajani Steadfast
8 Ajani, Caller of the Pride
9 Nahiri, the Lithomancer
10 Gideon, Champion of Justice
I'd easily run the Top 3 in a 360 cube, with 4 and 5 also having a chance of getting in. There's a big gap between the top 5 and the bottom 5.
Master of the Wild Hunt. Enters earlier, and doubles as much-needed removal for Green.

As for the red 'walkers...
02 Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker
03 Daretti, Scrap Savant
04 Chandra Nalaar
05 Chandra, Pyromaster
06 Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh
07 Chandra, the Firebrand
08 Chandra Ablaze
09 Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded
Daretti has been surprisingly good since including him. He does mostly see play in the artifact heavy decks, but he's been decent in other decks too just based on his loot ability.
And for the white ones...
02 Kytheon, Hero of Akros
03 Gideon Jura
04 Elspeth, Sun's Champion
05 Ajani Goldmane
06 Ajani Steadfast
07 Elspeth Tirel
08 Ajani, Caller of the Pride
09 Gideon, Champion of Justice
10 Nahiri, the Lithomancer
That may be a high ranking of the new Kytheon/Gideon, but I have very high hopes for him.
Oh, and Master should definitely be in before Whisperwood.
