Anyone got an opinion on Doom Blade vs Ultimate Price?
Looking to cut one since I feel like I overdosed on the spot removal in Black.
Add 'em up and cut the one with less targets and/or less high priority targets. I think the value will vary from cube to cube, and the difference between the cards' respective powerlevels is razor thin.
I'm at 555 and I'm running Sewer Nemesis, Graveborn Muse, Shadowborn Demon, and Tombstalker. I think Tombstalker might very well be close to breaking in at 360, so he'd certainly be the best of the list. We ran Desecration Demon for a while, but he was fairly easy to deal with. We also ran Bloodgift Demon, which I like a lot, but recently cut in favor of Shadowborn Demon. I've never really liked Abyssal Persecutor, although I'll admit that I don't have first hand experience with the card. And last, we had Puppeteer Clique in for a while, but only being able to target your opponent's graveyard was a huge bummer. I just didn't like not having control over how powerful the card was. I also really like Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief as a black 5-drop.

How big your guild sections are and where you classify hybrids could mean the difference in these cards. Id probably look for another cut, but if you put a gun to my head... Doom Blade.
In my 500 card powered cube, I run Tombstalker, Shadowborn, and Ob Nixilis. When I cut down to 450, Tombstalker will definitely stay; not sure on the others but they are likely to get the ax. I thought Bloodgift was too meh for 5 mana and Clique was too variable. Persecutor was hated by my group. Muse was good but 4-drops are too competitive in most cubes. Ditto with Sewer Nemesis (which I think I would bring back before Muse). I never tried Desecration Demon because it looks too easy to work around.
I think I like Doom Blade more than Ultimate Price, but they are both pretty expendable. I'd use whichever one has more targets and higher value targets in your cube. Alternatively, play the Price because Shriekmaw, Nekrataal, and Bone Shredder already can't hit black targets.

Looking at your CubeTutor, I'd cut Dark Banishing first.
There aren't enough regenerating dudes to make it worth the extra mana from Doom Blade.
Edit: Oops, I see now you were responding to someone else asking this. Only you didn't quote so it was confusing.
Yeah, I'd say Ultimate Price is probably better, just because so many of Black's removal spells can't hit Black creatures anyways, including a lot of staples like Snuff Out, Shriekmaw, and similar.

Lol! Yeah sorry about that. Learning what the new layout means. I screwed that up and then went back to try and make it make a bit of sense. You are probably right that DB is the better cut for the OP.
I'm leaning towards Ratchet Bomb, since it's clunky and Engineered Explosives does almost the same thing but slightly better. The others are all pretty unique effects, with maybe Black Vise the weakest/narrowest?
Personally, I don't like Black Vise because of its high variation in power. As for a potential cut, I have recently wondered about the viability of Scroll Rack. It seems that the decks that want it and have space for it are getting rarer and rarer - at least in my cube.
Out of that list, I would probably cut Scroll Rack or Engineered Explosives (which is really good, but not loved by my group). I think Black Vise is a fantastic aggro card--it often does six damage for one mana. It also is fun to drop after Upheaval, Time Spiral, or Armageddon. WotC will have to print some really sick artifacts before I cut Vise or Scroll.

I've never really liked Lightning Greaves myself, but other seem to use it enough that it's still in my list.
Black Vise is certainly polarizing, but I like it's effect for the aggro deck against the control deck.
Scroll Rack is the only card I'm not running in my list. I have a copy in my on-deck box, but I've never really felt the urge to put it in for any specific reason. I think this would probably be my cut, unless there's a good reason to keep it.
I'd cut Black Vise. I don't run it in my cube because aggro is already too powerful, but that's another story. I disagree with cutting Ratchet Bomb and Engineered Explosives. They deal with SO MANY problem permanents (broken enchantments and True Name Nemesis) and almost any deck can run them.
I'd cut Lightning Greaves or Scroll Rack from that list, probably Greaves. Black Vise is definitely a lifer in my cube. There is a high variation in power level, but outside of equipment, it's the artifact I most want in my aggro decks. There's also one guy in my group who's been gotten by Black Vise so many times that it's become a running joke.

For the first two...is neither an option? Red four drops are so awesome right now that Hound of Griselbrand really doesn't match up imo. Blood Knight is also in a similar position. Red two drops have really improved a lot in the last couple of years or so.
Blastoderm isn't so hot these days (although still fairly alright). I'd keep Vorapede though.
I would cut Ratchet Bomb, as it's the slowest and most awkward from the bunch.
I can't count the amount of times I've blown out a token deck by dropping Ratchet Bomb and immediately activating it. I don't think it's awkward at all.
Ratchet bomb just gets better and better as people push CMC lower and lower. There are lots of times it can sit out with two counters nullifing any 2 or 3 drops they might have their hand. Much like disk it enables decks to attack permanents they normally wouldn't be able to. It is ultra-popular in our group.
How are people feeling about cursed scroll?. I feel like it is much more cumbersome than the other cards mentioned. And no one in my group likes it so I cut it to make room for more build around me/combo artifacts.

You are right insofar as drafts are concerned. I tend to Winston, Grid draft or play sealed so that may skew my view.
