I know this was debated to death but now that people have had the cards for a while maybe there's more data. I need to make a cut for Kalonian Hydra. Choices are Genesis, Vorapede or Primeval Titan. I'm leaning toward the Titan but I still feel like that may be wrong.

With those three, Vorapede.
Speaking of which, I also have a green cut to make. Let's do a Gifts Ungiven!
I would cut Genesis. It is slow and just gets wrecked by incidental hosers like Ooze and Deathrite. In over 6 months of cubing we have seen it active and unhindered a total of once. And even then returning old creatures to hand was not enough to win.

Thornling
Obstinate Baloth
Protean Hydra
I would cut Hydra for sure and then either Ant Queen or Baloth. Thornling is the only one of those I like.
I'd cut Thornling and the Hydra. We do like the Queen a lot here.
Don't Ant Queen and Thornling thrive in similar situations (when you can drop a five drop and untap with it and devote a bunch of mana to it) except that Thornling also thrives in a bunch of other situations too? I can probably come up with some specific scenarios where the Queen is better, but it seems like Thornling is the superior choice the majority of the time.
KoM fills a completely different role and is probably the strongest here in any case. My cut would most likely be Big Elspeth unless you have a heavy token theme going on, or Ranger of Eos who I'm not a great fan of either.

I'd cut Genesis. His effect is unique which I love, but having to
a) Get him in the graveyard
b) Have creatures in the graveyard
c) having the mana to pay for the creatures enough to generate good CA without sacrificing tempo too much...
Seems too slow/situational for me, when his body is WAY below par for 5 mana. That being said I dont have too much experience with him.. My local cube guru told me to cut him , and it made sense.
He's still solid, but 5CC for green is JAMMED. If you really like genesis, Vorepede is the cut.

Prime Time definitely needs to stay, no question there.
Between Genesis and Vorapede, I actually like cutting Vorapede here. Others have pointed out that Genesis has a unique ability (albeit one that requires some setup work), and Vorapede/Hydra kinda feel like they fit in a similar role: 5cc trampling fatty. Granted, Vorapede is a bit more resilient, but if you absolutely need to play the Hydra, then I'd say Vorapede is close enough that it should get cut.
Toss up for me between Elspeth Tirel and Ranger of Eos, both of which I've had my eye on lately.
- Knight is a very solid two-drop, both on offense and on defense.
- Archangel is a game-winner as long as she's on the table, and an excellent way to top off any W/X aggro curve.
- Ranger's value is entirely dependent on your one-drops.
- Elspeth is often trumped by her smaller relative, or by Gideon Jura.
I wouldn't fault you for cutting either of those two.
Do I need both Coaliation Relic and Chromatic Lantern? 600 cube
Relic ramps from 3 to 6, but provides limited fixing. TBH, it provides just enough fixing without making the mana for 5 color decks EZ mode that Lantern sometimes provides. I'm mentally ready to cut lantern for whatever new shiny artifact comes out in Theros or BNG.
Also, the RR cost keeps it out of a lot of decks that are looking for cheap discard, and the random discard hurts a lot.

Two must leave. I'm leaning towards Thornling and Protean Hydra, but might as well get some feedback.

On spoiled card wishlisting and 'should-have-had'-isms:
Big Elspeth or Ranger of Eos for me as well.

Elpseth Tirel.
She's really only great in tokens, and tokens just aren't a powerful enough archtype to heavily support (IMO).

Either Sublime Archangel or Elspeth Tirel. Probably the Angel, considering the depth of the 4cc slot in white.
